About: Hi! My name is Shayna Malonson, and I’ve always had a deep love for animals—especially dogs. I grew up with dogs my entire life, and now as an adult with my own home, I’m lucky to have two of my own: Ally (4 years old) and King (2 years old). They are a huge part of my daily life and have taught me so much about responsible, loving care. I personally bathe my dogs, brush their teeth, and handle their basic grooming after learning how to properly care for them myself. Through experience—especially managing my older dog’s dry skin—I’ve learned a lot about different dog food brands, skin-care products, and overall dog wellness. This has helped me become very attentive to each dog’s individual needs. In my free time, I enjoy playing fetch, going on simple walks, and giving my dogs plenty of love and attention. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I would love the opportunity to care for your dogs as if they were my own—making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m home often and able to give dogs consistent attention throughout the day. My schedule allows me to plan feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and rest periods without rushing. I build my day around the dogs in my care, making sure they receive regular supervision, exercise, and companionship. Whether it’s morning and evening routines, midday check-ins, or overnight care, I’m flexible and dependable. I enjoy keeping pets on a steady schedule so they feel comfortable and secure I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment for every pet in my care. In my home, dogs are treated like family and are always supervised. I make sure the space is clean, pet-safe, and free from hazards, with plenty of room for rest, play, and comfort. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I’m experienced with basic grooming care such as bathing and brushing, and I pay close attention to skin sensitivity, diet needs, and overall well-being. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain the pet’s normal routine to reduce stress. I ensure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure, and I never leave pets unattended outside. Trust and communication are very important to me.
