About: I’ve had multiple dogs growing up as well as lots of other animals! I often dog sit for my siblings and love having them. I like my home to feel like their home with little adjustment. I work at 5 am and come home for lunch and am back home by 12 and am home for the rest of the night. I live right by my job and they are very flexible with me. I love being home in the evenings and having someone to take walks with is ideal! My apartment is open to pets, furniture included unless specified. I will happily keep pets off your furniture if needed. I take regular walks with a leash for exercise to make up for the lack of hard at my house.

About: Hi! I’m a passionate and experienced dog lover with over 4 years of hands on experience working at a busy doggy daycare. In that role, I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Handling everything from playtime supervision and feeding to administering basic care and ensuring a safe, happy environment for every pup. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve grown up around them, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every dog like they’re my own with patience, attention, and lots of love. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, a reliable sitter, or just some extra attention while you’re away, you can count on me to provide dependable, attentive, and compassionate care. I’m comfortable with high energy dogs, shy pups, and everything in between! I can’t wait to meet you and your furry best friend! I’m a teacher during the week, so my pet care schedule fits perfectly around that! I’m available in the afternoons/evenings on weekdays, and I have full availability on weekends, holidays, and throughout the summer. This allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and consistency when their owners need it most. I have a dog of my own, but I live in an apartment, so boarding in my home isn’t ideal. My dog is friendly so play dates are definitely an option if you’re okay with it! I prefer caring for pets in their own environment where they’re most comfortable. In a client’s home, I always follow all provided instructions closely and do my best to keep your pet’s routine as normal and consistent as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or any specific care needs. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and stress free while you’re away.

“So Duke began his Rover journey back in November and he’s had at least 4 sitters between that time- all seem to love him and he them (he loved attention) but Laurie made the ultimate impact. Picking him up it was the first time he cried upon leaving a stay. Laurie was super responsive and kept me abreast what’s going on with my pup but wasn’t overboard either. It appears Duke has decided that he will become an official repeat client. Thanks again Laurie.”
