I am passionate about giving your pets a loving home away from home. I am retired and spend most of my days working around my house with my two yorkies. I have a fenced in yard that we spend alot of our day in. My neigherborhood is very quiet and does not have a lot of traffic, I have a large fenced in yard for dogs to play safely. For cats, I have a safe and quiet room that they can have to themselves away from my two yorkies, but the yorkies have been around cats before and are okay with them.

About: I’m experienced with cats and dogs and have personally raised a litter of kittens from birth recently. I currently have a dog that is a Australian Shepherd/Husky mix and 3 cats (a black cat, a snowshoe, and a tortie). I offer gentle, reliable care and make pets feel safe and loved. Any protocols or needs will be followed to the best of my ability. I am mostly available weekday evenings and weekends. Depending on my work schedule and work load (I work from home), it's possible that I can also be available early mornings or mid-day to drop in and check on your pets. About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. Growing up, I helped care for a litter of three dogs and later helped care for our senior dog through arthritis and other age-related health challenges, which taught me patience, compassion, and attentive care. I currently have a chocolate Labrador puppy that I’m actively training, giving me hands-on experience with puppy routines, basic training, and positive reinforcement. I’ve also cared for other pets throughout my life, including fish and hamsters, so I’m comfortable caring for a variety of animals. My goal is to provide every pet with the same love, safety, and attention I’d want for my own, while keeping owners updated for peace of mind. I’m especially available on Fridays and Saturdays, making weekends a great time to book walks, drop-in visits, or pet sitting. During the week, I work Monday–Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM and Sundays from 7:45 AM to 12:30 PM, but I’m available before and after those hours. No matter the day, I’m committed to providing reliable, attentive care and making sure every pet gets the time, exercise, and love they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. If you’re comfortable with it and your dog enjoys the company of other dogs, they’re welcome to have supervised playtime with my friendly chocolate Lab puppy for extra socialization and fun. I’ll always respect your preferences and keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring, reliable hands.

I look forward to working with you and your dogs in the near future! I am a full time behavior tech at an ABA clinic. I work 8:00-3:30 Monday thru Friday, but am free any other time of the week. But if you message me in advance I will make you and your beautiful pup my top priority! “I made a last minute ( the night before) 3 day dropin booking in a city we were visiting for our 4 mo old schnauzers who needed a mid day potty break. Amanda was prompt with text responses, took on the job and sent us photo updates. It was a great relief for us. There were two other adult dogs in the house who were good for the full day and she took them out also even though we didn't ask for it. This extra service was greatly appreciated also.”

About: I went to school for animal health and behavior and I use to be a zookeeper. I know my stuff! Also grew up on a farm. I currently have 3 dogs who eat breakfast and dinner of real food that I cook everyday. I am well aware of proper nutrition as well as behavior training since three dogs can get easily chaotic if not handled properly. We play everyday and have sun tanning time for 2 hours. No matter my schedule we stay with there's! I have a fenced in yard and my dogs are trained not to run out any door. We have safe toys in a toy box that we check for broken pieces that may be ingested.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a kid because growing up I would always come home with new ones all the time! I have all the time to play and train dogs now because I got one of my own. I also used to work at Sherwood South Animal Emergency and Critical Care Center as a kennel attendant. So I really have a lot of hands on experience on running a kennel as well as dealing with the hurt animals in the ER. And I know a lot about medication, routines and food routines so it shouldn’t be a problem with the experience I have. If I didn’t have to move to Lafayette Louisiana, I would love to stay at the emergency hospital, but we wanted to move to a family safe area. I really had a lot of love for the animals that I took care of and was really a great experience. I’m currently working part time and can sit or board pups durning the weekdays and weekends!! From 9am to 7pm I could walk the pups. Boarding whenever!! I have a black lab puppy at the moment and train and take her for walks very often. It would be great for her to have some pups for friends we have a fence in yard and a dog park as well!

I’ve had pets my entire life and during the stay at home order, I started fostering dogs in addition to my two cats, and I recently adopted Honey, a 1 1/2 year old collie mix. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all different sizes and breeds. My main option on here is dog boarding but I also do drop ins and dog walking!
