“I was so nervous about leaving Chico with someone I’d just met but Julie really made sure I was comfortable. She made two trips to my home beforehand and let me bring Chico over to her home beforehand. I got frequent photos and text updates from her about how things were going. She cared for him as if he was her own. We brought his food and toys to her house in advance. We were able to leave him in his kennel at home and she came and picked him up after we’d left.
