About: I want to point out first, I do work a full time job Monday-Friday and the hours are 7:30-4, so this is my side hustle! I wanted to be open and transparent before you book with me! I’ve owned dogs my entire life. I currently have a white lab/golden retriever mix that is just under a year old, her name is Maggie! I’ve taken care of friends and families pets since I was about 17. The animals I’ve watched have included dogs, cats, and guinea pigs! My favorites are my senior animals who just want to lounge but I love taking my younger ones to the park to play as well! I’m currently working full time during the week but available to pet sit or take care of them after work. I build in time to my daily schedule to accommodate walks, feeding time, and play time! I am more than happy to provide references from my other clients to help ease your mind. I also have experience in having to crate animals and keeping them separate if needed.

I work M-F 11am-7:30pm in Bardstown so I can stop by before and after work! I can accommodate any requests! I don't like for pets to stay locked in a cage like most boarding facilities do. I like them to feel as if they are at home with you, if needed to be crated while they sleep I can do that as well.

This was my first time ever using a pet sitter and I was a little anxious, I was worried my dogs might not behave perfectly and I was generally nervous about someone coming and staying at my house while I was not there. Dawn is an exceptional person and when we met up for a meet and greet, I told her about my fears and she was very understanding. She helped to settle my concerns and she even came over to my home a little early to meet with my animals and to allow them to acclimate to her presence. About: I am a dog mom of 2, my dogs names are: Beauty, and Skyla. I live on almost an acre, so your pup has plenty of room to play. I have two children who love to spoil and play with dogs so they will get plenty of attention, exercise and love. I am flexible with sitting, boarding and anything else you may need, my son is 16 and helps me with any dog that I care for. I live in a nice quiet neighborhood, so I can walk your dog on their leash as well. I treat my pups like they are my kids, they are spoiled, but they are great with other dogs. I will provide pictures/videos daily so you can see your family member and feel at easy while you are away. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby. As I do work three jobs. My kids help take care of our own family pets as well as other people's. I ensure any pup I sit has their own water bowl and food bowl. Like I would my own pups. If you notice I don't say dog or animal. My two pups, I call my girls or my pups. They are my kids too and any dog I board, I treat like I would want someone to treat my girls.

She is patient and our chiweenie (who does NOT like strangers) was napping in her lap within 2 days. Nightly care is optional through the week, as are walks and check ins. I have a no fence yard. I would be walking them when they need to go potty. If you prefer crates, please bring one. Dogs are allowed to roam free in the home all day, and allowed on furniture.
