This was my first time ever using a pet sitter and I was a little anxious, I was worried my dogs might not behave perfectly and I was generally nervous about someone coming and staying at my house while I was not there. She helped to settle my concerns and she even came over to my home a little early to meet with my animals and to allow them to acclimate to her presence. THEN, she proceeded to send me pictures and updates on my babies while I was away. 10/10. Absolutely adore her. About: I’ve been working at an animal hospital for almost a year. I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs, cats, and other exotic animals. I’ve also worked with their different sizes, ages, diets, medications, etc. I’ve got a dog and 3 cats currently. I also frequently pet sit for family and friends, often overnight or over the weekend. I love to go on neighborhood walks with my dog to make sure she gets her daily exercise in. Also playing outside and enjoying the nice weather. I’m available to let dogs go on as many potty breaks as they need! For my cats, I love playing with them and seeing all the different toys to make sure they never get bored. I’ve also done my fair share of cleaning, no matter the mess, I’ll clean it up! I am a college student with at most 3 classes a day. I can do early mornings and then evenings/afternoons. During school breaks, I’ll be available all day. There may be the occasional days where I’m busy or out of town, but more likely than not I will be free and not busy. I will most likely ask the pet’s owners what they prefer on things like going outside, for walks, and other daily routines. I will constantly be checking in on the pet and making sure they’re doing okay. If anything were to happen, I would immediately contact the owner to come up with an action plan and see what they would want to do, depending on the situation. I would make sure that the home is safe and that there is nothing that the pet could get into that would hurt them.

I have two children who love to spoil and play with dogs so they will get plenty of attention, exercise and love. I am flexible with sitting, boarding and anything else you may need, my son is 16 and helps me with any dog that I care for. I live in a nice quiet neighborhood, so I can walk your dog on their leash as well. I treat my pups like they are my kids, they are spoiled, but they are great with other dogs. My kids help take care of our own family pets as well as other people's. I ensure any pup I sit has their own water bowl and food bowl. Like I would my own pups. If you notice I don't say dog or animal. My two pups, I call my girls or my pups. They are my kids too and any dog I board, I treat like I would want someone to treat my girls.

I work M-F 8:30-5 in Elizabethtown, I drive from Shepherdsville, so I can stop in before work or after, or both! I can accommodate any requests! I don't like for pets to stay locked in a cage like most boarding facilities do. I like them to feel as if they are at home with you, if needed to be crated while they sleep I can do that as well.
