Unfortunately this means I was looking for last minute places for her to go. Something I truly dreaded because I really didn't want to leave her home and I couldn't take her with me. “I CANNOT say enough good things about both Rick and his fiancé Annemarie! They were God-sent ANGELS for our wedding weekend! We were out of town - all of us were - and really needed someone who could keep Millie for us. Even though they stayed a half hour away, they were above-and-beyond accommodating, staying flexible with our schedule as things changed on our end. They came and picked her up from us, brought her back for rehearsal the same day so my nephew could practice walking her down the aisle, took her back home. They sent me pictures of her and their dog Buckley all throughout the weekend and she looked like she was having fun, getting good sleep and was comfortable. When Annemarie brought Millie to my wedding, she came dressed up to blend in with the other guests and I never heard Millie bark the whole time. She stayed around in the hot heat for pictures so Millie could be in a few pictures with us before taking her back to their home. Finally, they kept her through an extra day for us so we could have a little breather time before we had to pack everything up at our hotel room and head back home. We could not have made it through our wedding weekend without Annemarie and Rick's help. All of their story-sharing about what Millie was up to with Buckley all weekend was so nice to see intermittently as we were busy buzzing about doing our wedding activities. We are so GRATEFUL for everything they did and it's clear Millie was well taken care of and comfortable because she was so calm and relaxed when Rick returned her to us! Truly extra sweet! About: My animal experience goes way back to childhood. At the age of 7 I started in 4h, learning about animal husbandry. By the age of 13 I was volunteering at the local riding stables. By high school, I was working at the local animal shelter, volunteering with local rescues and advancing my education in dog training, with hopes of getting into service dogs. At age 19 I started working at a vet clinic This just advanced my love of animals and their care even more! Fast forward to today, and I own my own in home grooming salon ❤️ I have continued to volunteer with the local rescues and shelter every chance I get. 2 years ago I was blessed with the opportunity to become a puppy raiser for a veteran service dog foundation. That was the very best experience i could of asked for! My knowledge of dogs extends into training, grooming and care. I'm knowledgeable with cats and other small animals as well! Coming from a farm and vet background, I have experience with just about every animal including exotics. My personal dogs are all very well socialized with other animals of all kinds. They all have extensive training and are completely safe with others. They know just how to make our new guest feel right at home! All my boarder dogs are treated as family, allowed on beds and furniture and cage free unless otherwise requested. Bath or grooming add ons are always available! All baths/ grooms come complete with a cute Pic! Please feel free to reach out with any questions ❤️ I work from home in my at home grooming salon, so your pet will never be alone. Should I need to leave the house for small errands, there is still someone left at home, or the animal will have a safe enclosed room to themselves. My Backyard is attached to the house and fully enclosed with a large wooden privacy fence. Pets are never left outside unattended and are kept in my view at all times.

If we do not use the electric fence we use a long lead. At a clients home if they have a fenced yard I would still never leave an animal unattended, that’s just me personally. I would love to spend time with your pets outside, maybe we can play a little or if your fur babies just wanna soak up some sun and relax, I’m here for it all! If the client does not have a fenced yard I would use a long lead or regular leash and never leave the pup pup unattended. For safety both in my own home or clients I utilize a crate if necessary, and positive reinforcement for good behavior! I also have experience with muzzles and other tools(collars, leads, head leads, etc) Its not only about protecting me and others but to ensure the safety of the animal as well. About: Hi! I’m Morgan, I HUGE animal lover, I have 4 dogs Campbell, Charlie, Zues, and Layla, 2 of them being rescue pups. I am wanting to help you with your pet needs while you’re gone, doggie daycare, or walks or even just drop in feeds and loves! I enjoy being able to help people who may not have all the time during the day for their animals and/or people who may need to go somewhere for a few days or week but will have a peace of mind knowing their fur babies are well taken care of. Myself, my husband and our kids love all things animals. All our dogs are treated just as good as our kids and get all the love and attention they could possibly want! Please know that your fur babies will be treated and loved for 100% in my care. I work full time with Meade County schools but using summer break, weekends and other times to help others out. Vacation season is upon us. I know first hand what it’s like finding someone you trust with your fur babies in the times you can’t be. I am available all week, all hours of the day and weekends. I do not have a fenced yard however I have tie outs if needed, I live next to several parks and walking areas. We have a spacious yard. All my dogs are friendly and accepting of other animals.

“I CANNOT say enough good things about both Rick and his fiancé Annemarie! They were God-sent ANGELS for our wedding weekend! We were out of town - all of us were - and really needed someone who could keep Millie for us. Even though they stayed a half hour away, they were above-and-beyond accommodating, staying flexible with our schedule as things changed on our end. They came and picked her up from us, brought her back for rehearsal the same day so my nephew could practice walking her down the aisle, took her back home. They sent me pictures of her and their dog Buckley all throughout the weekend and she looked like she was having fun, getting good sleep and was comfortable. When Annemarie brought Millie to my wedding, she came dressed up to blend in with the other guests and I never heard Millie bark the whole time. She stayed around in the hot heat for pictures so Millie could be in a few pictures with us before taking her back to their home. Finally, they kept her through an extra day for us so we could have a little breather time before we had to pack everything up at our hotel room and head back home. We could not have made it through our wedding weekend without Annemarie and Rick's help. All of their story-sharing about what Millie was up to with Buckley all weekend was so nice to see intermittently as we were busy buzzing about doing our wedding activities. We are so GRATEFUL for everything they did and it's clear Millie was well taken care of and comfortable because she was so calm and relaxed when Rick returned her to us! Truly extra sweet! “We will definitely use Melody again- you will not be disappointed! We have a 9 month old golden doodle and decided to take a last minute trip. We have never used a boarding service before, so I was extremely nervous! Upon booking, we spoke with Melody, who was quick with her responses, she explained her background (30 years of dog sitting!), the layout of where the dogs stay, and her daily routine with them. We felt she was a good match for our expectations. We arrived at her location, and felt a huge sense of relief! Melody has safe drop off/ pick up procedures, she has multiple gates you have to go in/ out of, and a large area in the back for the dogs to run and play. She evaluated Charlie and reassured us she was in good hands. We received a text 5 minutes after drop off that Charlie was happy and had already made a few puppy pals. With our overly excited, crazy dog I was expecting to get a phone call asking us to pick her up-NOT AT ALL! We are very happy with this experience and in fact, we spoke with Melody about bringing Charlie a few times durning the week for daycare. She is reasonably priced and truly cares about each pup! Only negative was, we did not get to see the atmosphere of where the dogs stay inside, but this is Melody’s house, so we respect that.”
