About: Hello! my name is Vanessa. I have been a dog/pet sitter for over 15 years now. I have experience with animals ranging from dogs (especially), cats, small animals, and horses. I am also a certified groomer, and have been working as a groomer for 12 years now, so I have plenty of safety training as well for handling animals. I absolutely love caring for animals and making them feel safe and comfortable, and I know how important it is to leave your animal in the care of someone you can trust. I currently live on a farm with ability to care for dogs in my home, but I do prefer doing in home overnights or daycare at the client's house, due to my own dogs and horses. About: As a college student studying Zoology, animals and their care are more than a side hustle or a hobby: they’re my world. Apart from my academic coursework in animal care and welfare, I have more than eight years of personal care and volunteer experience with numerous animals, including but not limited to: cats, dogs, horses, rats and mice, hamsters, snakes, various types of lizards and amphibians, goats, chickens, sheep, cattle, and even invertebrates such as tarantulas and scorpions.
