My Chihuahua, who is notably sociable and friendly, enjoys interacting with other dogs, cats, and people alike. Resident Pets In addition to my Chihuahua, I share my home with two cats that I rescued from the local animal shelter. Both cats are well-adjusted and accustomed to living with dogs. Typically, after a brief introduction consisting of a few sniffs and perhaps a hiss, they are able to coexist peacefully with other cats. Experience and Availability Since retiring from the Army, I am available around the clock to care for your beloved pet. With more than 26 years of experience in owning and caring for both dogs and cats, I am well-versed in understanding and meeting their unique needs. I can easily crate your dog if needed. My cats ignore dogs that don't want to play. If your dog dislikes cats, I am able to separate their living areas while your dog is on-site.

About: I have been passionate about dogs ever since I was a child but because experienced working with dogs and cats (and some bunnies) while working for the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County. I was a veterinarian assistant for one year and then became an adoptions Manager for three years. This was the most fulfilling experience of my adult life, being able to help animals and the community daily. I recently lost my closest companion, Xander, about a month ago. He was 13 years old and I had him since he walked into the humane society at two months old. Through him I gained even more experience with aging dogs, medical care and many behavioral changes as he aged. While using positive reinforcement training we navigated 6 military moves, life adaptions to aging and the introduction of two kittens. I will take all this experience and use it to provide the same amount of love an attention for you furry family members as I did for Xander. I am currently unemployed and have most days free as well as can stay over night or board animals in my home. I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work with any clients schedule as needed. I currently only have two cats in my home, so I’m able to provide boarding for cat friendly animals. I have a fenced in back yard and am usually not gone from the house for more than four hours. I also am available for staying over nights at clients houses for a more comfortable experience for everyone in the family.

About: I have taken care of all animals from horses to rabbits and snakes ever since I was little. I am blessed with the ability to have been working for a kennel for the past four years that’s given me experience to care for them. I feed, water, medicate, play and spend time with all sorts of pups ! I’m currently working full time but I can do anytime after 5 on fridays and anytime on Saturday and Sunday !I am devoted to give the very best pet care there is in the area! In my home, I have four Boston terriers and two cats. The bostons are great pets ! We have a fenced in yard for them to run and play. We also have a pool for them to swim in . They’re spoiled :). The cats are indoor/outdoor cats and are all up to date on shots! We also have two kittens we just adopted :)

About: I’ve grown up with dogs for most of my life, and have done some dogsitting and dog walking before. I’ll admit it’s been a bit since I had to focus on school work for my psych degree, but now that I have to wait till fall for grad school, I figured now is the time to help out some furry friends! I’m an animal lover at heart and am not only interested in, but willing to help with any accommodations! Our pets deserve the best after all! :) I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I have plenty of time for any pet care. I tend to be more of a night owl so I can help cats when they’re more active at night. I tend to work best with detailed instructions. I don’t want to disturb any routine and want the animal to feel as comfortable as possible.

About: I am an emergency nurse 2 days a week and a mom to 2 crazy girls full time. My availability on the weekends can vary because of my nursing job. I’m available early mornings and late evenings if needed, and I have Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 8-4:30 wide open! I’ve had a dog my entire life and currently have a 7 year old rescue! About: As a college student studying Zoology, animals and their care are more than a side hustle or a hobby: they’re my world. Apart from my academic coursework in animal care and welfare, I have more than eight years of personal care and volunteer experience with numerous animals, including but not limited to: cats, dogs, horses, rats and mice, hamsters, snakes, various types of lizards and amphibians, goats, chickens, sheep, cattle, and even invertebrates such as tarantulas and scorpions. Rest assured, I’ll never discriminate against your furry pal! I have experience giving oral medication, both liquid and pill, as well as insulin injections and subcutaneous fluids. I also have experience caring for elderly animals — like my 18 year old cat, Maya! I can provide feeding, brushing, hoof care, walking, exercise, medication, play time, turning out, litterbox cleaning and much more! I have a driver’s license and my own transportation, and my hours and pay are flexible. I am willing to drive 60-90 minutes depending on needs. As mentioned prior, I have extensive prior experience volunteering at various shelters, vets and farms assisting with animal care, as well as my own personal experience caring for a diverse array of pets. I am happy to gather recommendations from organizations I work with. While caring for your pet or pets, I will regularly keep in contact with you and update you with both text and photos (if desired), along with keeping a dedicated spreadsheet of feeding/watering/grooming times and overall health to guarantee your peace of mind. I am capable of providing pet care across a flexible schedule. I can provide early care from 6-9 AM in the morning and any time after 4:20 PM on weekdays, as well as 24 hour care on weekends and overnight stays if needed. I am able to care for pets in a wide variety of ways thanks to expensive experience. Walking, feeding, litter-box cleaning, playtime, as well as insulin/subcutaneous fluid injections are all possible. I can also administer medication orally. Daily checkups as well as overnight stays are both possible.
