About: As a college student studying Zoology, animals and their care are more than a side hustle or a hobby: they’re my world. Apart from my academic coursework in animal care and welfare, I have more than eight years of personal care and volunteer experience with numerous animals, including but not limited to: cats, dogs, horses, rats and mice, hamsters, snakes, various types of lizards and amphibians, goats, chickens, sheep, cattle, and even invertebrates such as tarantulas and scorpions. Rest assured, I’ll never discriminate against your furry pal! I have experience giving oral medication, both liquid and pill, as well as insulin injections and subcutaneous fluids. I also have experience caring for elderly animals — like my 18 year old cat, Maya! I can provide feeding, brushing, hoof care, walking, exercise, medication, play time, turning out, litterbox cleaning and much more! I have a driver’s license and my own transportation, and my hours and pay are flexible. I am willing to drive 60-90 minutes depending on needs. I can provide early care from 6-9 AM in the morning and any time after 4:20 PM on weekdays, as well as 24 hour care on weekends and overnight stays if needed. About: I have cared for and owned animals from dogs to reptiles my whole life! I have had years of experience with both small and large breeds as well as sick and elderly pets. Ived work in a veterinary emergency hospital and am also a local groomer, so I have lots of experience handling dogs of all types!! I am available all the time on Monday through Wednesday. About: I have been passionate about dogs ever since I was a child but because experienced working with dogs and cats (and some bunnies) while working for the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County. I was a veterinarian assistant for one year and then became an adoptions Manager for three years. He was 13 years old and I had him since he walked into the humane society at two months old. I will take all this experience and use it to provide the same amount of love an attention for you furry family members as I did for Xander. I currently only have two cats in my home, so I’m able to provide boarding for cat friendly animals. I have a fenced in back yard and am usually not gone from the house for more than four hours.
