1. Austin S.
“This was my first time using Rover, and Austin was fantastic! A friend asked if I was uncomfortable with a stranger coming into my house, and I actually felt more comfortable relying on someone who has been vetted and has good reviews than my friends or friend’s kids who are too often unreliable. I went away for the weekend, and Austin dropped in on my cats. His updates and good communication left me completely at ease while I was gone. He even managed to get pictures of 3/4 very wary cats.”
2. John M.
“I have to say that We were a little hesitant going into this, after all he is our baby. Not only did John alleviate ANY concerns, but he made us feel very comfortable. I really liked ,AND appreciated the daily notes you left us, as well as the text message check ins? Our pup is usually shy in the beginning, but warmed right up to John almost immediately; now I know why they call you the dog wisperer! John is not only very professional, but amazing with our Animals. I would highly recommend John to any of my family or friends, and will definitely be using his services the next time. Thank you for taking care of my baby like he was own!”
3. Katarina S.
“Katarina was very reliable and dedicated to watching our pups. She spent time with them each visit and kept me in the loop while we were away. Which is a huge help bc i worry about them when they aren’t with me and esp. Over a holiday when there are fireworks nearby! We will definitely be using her for future trips.”
4. Chelsey B.
“I highly recommend Chelsey for pet care. Her care made our pets' time away from us joyful and comforting and gave us true peace of mind. Chelsey went above and beyond, and we're so thankful for her dedication to our pets' well-being.”
5. Kim P.
“Kim was absolutely wonderful with my babies! I recently moved to the area and had to find a new pet sitter. I couldn’t have made a better choice. I got updates during each visit and tons of pictures. It made my trip so much easier knowing they were in good hands.”

About: It can take a lot for any animal to scare me, I’ve grown up around them and I know more often than not they’re more scared than we are, so I just want to offer them some help and attention! I’m fond of all types of dogs, and all type of weather so they’ll always get a walk in! Caring for pets is a great source of joy in my life, and hopefully a full time job! I want to help people and animals in ways I think can matter, so this is apart of my life! I’m can be more of a solitary person when it comes to people, but I love being with animals! So if you need a home sitter you can trust with your baby, I’m your woman! I’m fine with a fenced in yard to play or taking any age of dog on a nice walk!
7. Roan L.
About: I have grown up with dogs and other animals my entire life living on horse farms including my current home. Dogs are an essential part of my life and caring for them is a joy for me. My own dog, Shamrock, a fourteen year old Jack Russell Terrier is the epitome of my undying care and affection. I raised her from a eight-week old puppy, training her, caring for her, teaching her how to play frisbee, even qualifying her as a service dog. Even at 14, she continues to inspire me with her energy, enthusiasm, and good behavior. All of the Rover guests get along with her (which is not a usual Jack Russell trait). She makes all the guests feel welcome and comfortable even tolerating other dogs sleeping on my bed with me. The Rover dogs I have welcomed in my home all appreciate the hospitality, the fact that the dog can enjoy everything the dog does at home (be it playing ball, running in the fenced in acre, sleeping on the bed, jumping up on the furniture, or if the dog is used to being crated, then feeling secure in its crate). I will always respect whatever the owner requests with respect to their own dogs routine. One of the Rover guest I have enjoyed over the years is a very active German Shorthair Pointer, named Wilson. Wilson requires crating, a very specific feeding schedule, and lots of exercise. Not a problem, I am happy to accommodate him. Spooky, a beloved Husky guest had a variety of eating issues and lots to say, I adored him and am saddened by his loss last year. The little dog pictured in my profile pick, Buddy was a favorite as well- spunky and cuddly. So, be it a huge needy Husky or a tiny Maltese, I enjoy and work with them all and their specific needs. I only take one dog at a time in order to devote the attention necessary and to keep the dogs safe, but if a family has two dogs who live together, I happily will take both. I just don't like to take two dogs from different households because I do not know how they will get along. Your dog will be welcomed, accommodated, and enjoyed while here, I can guarantee that and the reviews validate that. Thank you I work from home and enjoy having the dogs to take care of and provide me with great companionship during the day. I never leave the dogs for longer than a few hours. I live on a farm and have an acre fenced in yard, and a fenced in area in the front of the house for quick runs out in the middle of the night. I play frisbee with my dog and Rover guests and ball if that is the guest dog's preference.

10. Hunter S.
“Hunter was outstanding! Professional, punctual and communicative. He went above and beyond to ensure he learned the ropes before we left and to give our pets some extra love while we were gone. I will hire him again.”

12. Jaime T.
“Jaime is great with our dog, Zelda! She has done several drop-in visits for us and is always very thorough. She sends lots of pix and updates about her visit, which we love. We'll definitely book with Jaime again!”
13. Carly B.
About: I have been working at a dog kennel for over a year, dog sitting for about 3 years now, and even work with horses! For the cat people out there, I have done cat sitting jobs as well. I work part time at a kennel, I am always the morning shift so 7am-11/12 pm (normally monday-friday) but slow season is coming up so i’m sure i’ll have a extra off day or too. When i’m done at my job i have the rest of the day to care for your pets!! ( depending on the job i can do quick visits before I go into work as well) I have two family dogs who I have always loved and care for and a little over a year ago I bought my own dog. She is my whole world and as long as you’re dog is friendly (and is good with little dogs), if you want them to have someone to play with i will bring her! She is super sweet and loves to play, but also will lay down and relax if that’s what everyone else is doing!
14. Laura B.
“Laura has been our trusted pet sitter for over five years, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. She has been absolutely wonderful with our cats, providing them with not only the basic care they need but also the extra attention and affection that makes a difference. She spends time playing with them and making sure they feel comfortable in our absence. One of our cats is elderly and requires medication twice a day, which can be challenging. Laura has always managed this task with great care and reliability, ensuring that our cat received his medicine on time and without any issues. Her ability to handle this responsibility has given us tremendous peace of mind. Laura is also incredibly dependable. Whenever she was not available, she helped us find someone else we could trust to take care of our pets. We always felt secure knowing that our pets were in good hands, whether with Laura or someone she recommended. We are truly grateful for Laura’s dedication and highly recommend her to anyone seeking a compassionate, reliable pet sitter. Sincerely, Skip & Sherry”

“McGuire's big heart is what makes him the best possible caregiver for your pet, when you can't be with them. His only concern is the importance of your animals to you and, with a future path of Veterinary Medicine, it's a natural fit that your furry family member will get just the care they need when McGuire is there to watch over them.”
16. Emery D.
“Emery is a very lovely person who especially loves animals! She has watched my dog, two cats, and a baby frog while I was away from vacation and work. She has such a good time when she is out with my dog. When my dog sees Emery, my dog gets so excited! My dog can be hard to control at times, but Emery calms my dog down my being very gentle with her. I highly recommend Emery if you are looking for someone to walk your dog. She is also very friendly and communicative and willing to help out any lonely animal have fun!”
