“Kim did 3 drop-in visits for me this week, for my cat, Oreo. He is usually very timid when it comes to allowing new people near him. But, on day 3 she was able to have a huge breakthrough and get him to come out from hiding during her visit. He played laser and and actually got near her, which is AMAZING! I was thrilled with this breakthrough she had with him, as he usually isn't very friendly with new people. My regular daycare for Lilly was all booked up for spring break and I was stressed about finding an alternative, but it turns out I am so happy 😀 they were fully booked because we met Victoria and Duchess and we are just so impressed with her care. No kids, married for over 40 years and living on a small farm in White Hall where we care for our menagerie of 4 legged friends. Our alpacas are registered breeding stock and the guineas are for general amusement. But, the cats and dogs are all rescues, receive regular vet care and are fed on a routine schedule. I’ll admit it’s been a bit since I had to focus on school work for my psych degree, but now that I have to wait till fall for grad school, I figured now is the time to help out some furry friends! About: I have taken care of my own dogs ever since I was 7 years old and have been in love with animals ever since. I have taken care of all sorts of animals from hamsters to horses.
