About: As a kitten foster and multi-pet household caregiver, I’m used to caring for animals with different needs, energy levels, and personalities. Whether it’s playful kittens, shy cats, or dogs that need structure and attention, I adjust my care to what each pet needs. I’m also comfortable administering medications and paying close attention to behavior and health. I take the time to really understand each animal and respond to what they need—whether that’s extra patience, playtime, routine, or a quieter approach. I take pride in being dependable and communicative. You’ll get consistent updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. I offer: • Drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays • Care for multiple pets at once • Medication administration • Extra patience for shy or young animals • Close attention to routines and behavior I treat every pet like my own and focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible :) Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work remotely. As long as I have my laptop, I’m able to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. I can care for your pet in my home or yours—whatever makes them most comfortable. If they prefer staying in their own space, I’m happy to bring my work with me and keep their routine consistent. This flexibility means your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches. They’ll have companionship, supervision, and a calm presence—whether that’s relaxing on my lap while I work or resting nearby. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Whether in my home or yours, I provide a secure, calm environment with close supervision. At my home, pets have access to a large backyard that backs up to a farm and a quiet cul-de-sac street, giving plenty of space to explore safely. While my yard isn’t fenced, I take extra precautions to ensure pets remain secure at all times. I have a small Morkie who enjoys gentle play, and kittens in my care are always excited to meet new friends. Interacting with other animals not only enriches their social experience but also helps kittens become more confident and adoptable. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow your routines closely, provide attentive supervision, and make sure your pet feels comfortable and confident in their familiar surroundings.

“This is the second time Maddie has stayed at our home and watched our energetic puppy. She stayed in touch with us and even sent us a photo. She is professional, kind, and loves our dog. She will be here a few more times this year.”

About: I've had a dog my entire life. A chocolate lab when I was younger, and a German Shepherd now. It has always been my job to care for my families pets which includes feeding, grooming, and getting the right amounts of exercise. I am currently a sophomore in college with a good class schedule, so I will have plenty of time to care for your pets needs. I will be available to stay over night on any given day! My dogs have had plenty of yard to run around and play in as I've grown up. I would treat your dog just as I would mine and give him or her the best environment possible.
“Coty was responsible and took very good care of my 2 dogs. Fed them on schedule and let them out alot. They obviously liked him and were comfortable with him. Coty sent me pictures and updates all the time. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing my doggies were taken care of. Definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for most of my life and have provided pet sitting services for family and friends since 2020. As a lifelong dog owner, I understand the importance of maintaining routines, recognizing behavioral cues, and creating a safe, comfortable environment for every dog. I currently care for my own dog, Tessa, and have experience with dogs of varying ages, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. My hands-on experience includes caring for large and independent breeds such as German Shepherd/Akita mixes and Shiba Inus. Through regular pet sitting, I’ve become comfortable managing multi-dog households, administering feeding schedules, reinforcing established training routines, and providing enrichment through play, walks, and positive interactions. I’ve also lived with multiple dogs throughout college, giving me extensive experience adapting to different personalities, obedience levels, and exercise needs. I have experience supporting basic training, including house training, crate training, leash manners, and positive reinforcement techniques. Whether your dog is highly active, prefers a slower pace, or needs consistency with an existing routine, I strive to provide dependable care that helps pets feel secure while you’re away. Pet care is a regular part of my daily life. As a lifelong dog owner and experienced pet sitter, I’m used to planning my routine around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and companionship. I’m currently a student in a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program, which has strengthened my time management skills and attention to detail. I have clinical rotations on Mondays and Tuesdays and classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8–10 a.m., so I’m generally available most afternoons, evenings, Fridays, and many weekends with advance notice. I only accept bookings that fit comfortably within my schedule to ensure every pet gets the attention and care they deserve. I prioritize keeping pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. In my clients’ homes, I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications, crate routines, and any training cues or household rules. Safety is always my top priority. I double-check doors, gates, leashes, and collars before going outside and make sure pets are supervised during playtime and interactions with other animals. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I take time to build trust at their pace—whether they need extra playtime, a calm environment, or a little extra patience. As an MLT student, I’m detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to providing regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are safe and well cared for while they’re away.

FAQs for House Sitting - Young Bend
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 195 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Young Bend. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Young Bend walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Young Bend maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Young Bend choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Young Bend. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
