About: I’ve grown up with dogs. I’m allergic to cats, but I’ve taken care of them before and enjoy being around them (with allergy meds!). I was the main caregiver to my families senior boxer who needed diapers, midnight potty breaks, and special attention. I’ve also changed diapers for my family weenie dog when she was in heat, and for a friends male weenie dog (he was stubborn with potty training). I’ve sat dogs and cats for about 3 years on and off, the dogs ranging from 8 pounds to 70. I have a 15 pound chiweenie of my own named Max. I work a fairly consistent 9-4 with occasional night shifts. I can take a longer lunch if I need to, or can get in/leave early if I am working that night. I take my dog out on walks at least three times a day, and that does not change if I’m working nights. I have an unfenced yard, so I will only walk my dog to go potty. I have space for crates and beds, whatever is the norm for your fur child. Dogs are welcome on the furniture!
About: I have experience caring for all types of animals, including dogs, cats, rodents, fish, and exotics. I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant with 250+ clinical experience hours, pursuing a degree in Veterinary Medicine. I have a fairly flexible schedule for care for pets in their own home. I grew up with many pets and have years of experience working with animals in a veterinary setting. I have 3 cats and a 100lb dog, so I am comfortable working with all kinds of animals! I have had puppies, kittens, and senior pets and am able to match the needs of any animal. I am very comfortable administering medications as well. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm, animals have been something I’ve loved since I was little. My passion was mainly towards cattle, but after I moved to college I began watching my friend’s dogs when they were gone on extracurricular activities and I fell in love again! It made me not miss home so much and I gained a new skill of learning to care for these special animals in my friend’s lives. Before and after class I help walk, feed, and take care of dogs of all sizes and kinds. Ensuring their health and well being is my main concern. I am also very good at overnight stays when owners are away from home and checking on the needs of the pet. I take care of my pets like they are my babies. My cattle have been a shining example of this. After raising my own for over 10 years, being loving and caring to animals comes naturally, so no matter what animal, the kind and appropriate response to the pet will be used because I know, these animals are very close to our hearts. I will cater to each animals need respectfully and responsibly.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
