“I have used Teresa’s services at 3 times. She is amazing and has definitely exceeds expectations. She noticed and turned my water hose off after I left it running for a whole day 🤦🏽♀️. She also has returned when my cat got out of the house and didn’t return during her scheduled time. She’s really the only person I have experience with on this platform. Thankful she has been available when I need a sitter for my 2 cats.”

About: My family has had dogs since I was 10 years old, and now I have a one year old Sheltie of my own with my husband and two boys (7 & 4). I was also previously a nanny to a family who had dogs, so I took care of them daily, and frequently sat for them when the family was away, as well as watched many family members dogs. Being a dog mom myself, I realize how important it is to have your dog be taken care of and treated like one of the family, and to be given all of the love you would give them yourself! I am a stay at home mom, with both of my kids in school during the day, so I have a lot of time to give your doggy lots of attention! We have a huge fenced in yard that is bigger than a lot of dog parks, so your dog will have all the space they need to run laps (and two boys who will happily accompany them in doing so!). With me being home during the day, your dog will have the freedom to come in and out of the house at their own leisure! Plus I live in a great neighborhood that is perfect for multiple walks a day. I am happy to meet up before your dogs stay so you can see the space! Plus, since I already have a dog, my house is very dog-friendly (ie we keep doors shut so they can’t get into the bathroom, & we keep all shoes and other tempting chewy objects out of reach!) & we have a gate up so the dogs can’t wander about upstairs to get into trouble or out the front door! Our dog is a spoiled princess (she believes she is just one of us humans!) & has plenty of toys and treats & beds to share! After we got our dog and started needing sitters for her when we would go away, I realized how hard it was to find someone with a house/yard where my dog could feel comfortable/at home, and so I wanted to be able to provide that space for other pet owners! (As well as the added fact that if you have a social dog, they would have their own little friend to play with!)

About: I've spent a lifetime around dogs, from goldens and boxers to husky mixes, so I'm comfortable with bigger breeds while still keeping a gentle, reassuring presence. Over the years, I've also cared for senior dogs with special dietary needs, high-energy working breeds, and anxious or shy pups who need a little extra patience. My approach blends calm companionship with confident handling—I'm happy to curl up for quiet couch time or head out for a long, steady walk when the weather's nice. I'm detail-oriented and quick to notice when something's off, whether it's a change of mood, appetite, or behavior. I love learning each pup's quirks and personality so I can connect with them in a way that feels familiar and safe. And while I'm not a formal trainer, I have years of hands-on experience with leash manners, basic obedience, and redirecting unwanted behavior before it becomes an issue. Above all, I treat every dog like a member of my own family—loved, respected, and cared for with the same attention I'd want for my own pets. I'm currently a freelance worker with the ability to set my own hours. If I have a visit with your dog, I'll do my best to move my work hours around that schedule, but even if I have a particularly grueling work week, I can work from my laptop while I sit in with your pup. When I'm in your home, I follow your pet's routine exactly as you've outlined it—from meal times to walk routes to favorite toys. My goal is to make their day feel as normal and comfortable as possible while you're away. I keep their space safe and tidy, make sure they have fresh water, and give them the kind of interaction that matches their mood and energy level—whether that's a gentle game of tug, a nice stroll, or just quiet company nearby. If crating is a part of the routine, I can handle that, and I'm happy to help reinforce basic leash manners along the way. I adjust my visits to suit your pet's personality, so whether you have a social butterfly or a laid-back lounger, they'll get exactly what they need to feel secure until you're home.

“My pup was well taken care of due to this drop in! This was my first time using this app and of course it somehow had my old address. Once I realized the mishap Joshua was already at my old apartment but had no issue driving to the new location! So grateful! I had put in a request on such short notice & they picked it up with no problem! Great service and response time 😊”

“Christina was great! She was so friendly and took such good care of my puppy. She gave me advice as I’m a new puppy owner and helped get him fed, played with, and put to bed so quickly. Definitely recommend for any of your pet/puppy needs !”

About: Based right behind the Rivergate Shopping Center, I’m here to serve the pups of our community. Every dog is different, and I tailor each walk, drop-in, or stay to fit your pup’s needs. Whether it’s a hound on the hunt for new smells, a shepherd with energy to burn, or a senior dog who just wants a little sun and company, I aim to make every visit enriching and stress-free. I bring hands-on experience from a locally owned pet care business in Washington, DC, where I was trained to handle all types of dogs and provided care for dozens of pups. Since I’m new to Rover, most of the photos on my profile are from that time—but Charlotte dogs are already starting to fill the gallery! On weekends, my fiancée and I love hosting pups in our home. Our dog Sergio (he’s the white one with a spot on his eye) is friendly, playful, and gets along with dogs of all sizes. If your pup stays with us, we’re happy to take them on local adventures—like hikes at McDowell Nature Preserve, playtime at the dog park, or laid-back walks around the neighborhood. Let’s get your pup some fresh air and tail wags. Please reach out any time! I have a work from home job that allows me to swing by to pick up your pup in no time at all! My calendar changes, but I’m always doing my best to serve you in the best way possible. If you’re interested, reach out and we can create a schedule together. In my home, I treat every dog like part of the family. I keep a consistent routine with walks, meals, play, and downtime, and always make sure they have a safe, clean space to relax. I pay close attention to each dog’s needs and stick closely to any instructions you provide so their stay feels familiar and comfortable. In your home, I focus on keeping your pup’s routine as normal as possible. I’m respectful of your space and follow all care instructions to the letter, whether it’s feeding, walks, meds, or crate time. I always make sure your dog gets plenty of attention and exercise, and I’ll send regular updates so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 12 years of hands-on experience providing loving, reliable pet care. I currently share my home with two wonderful dogs, a playful Goldendoodle and a loyal Lab mix, and caring for them is just part of my everyday joy. But my experience goes much deeper than that. My journey into senior and special-needs dog care began with my late dog, who bravely battled cancer and faced anxiety in his final years. Through that deeply personal experience, I learned the importance of patience, gentleness, and truly understanding a dog’s emotional and physical needs. I became a pro at administering medications, both oral and topical, and at creating a calm, supportive environment for dogs with health or anxiety-related challenges. Whether I’m caring for a high-energy pup who loves fetch, or a senior dog who just wants a slow walk and a warm lap, I tailor every moment to meet their individual needs. I specialize in helping dogs feel safe, relaxed, and happy, even when their humans are away. I treat every dog like my own with compassion, consistency, lots of love, and belly rubs. With me, your furry friend will always be in good hands because I understand firsthand just how much they mean to you. My schedule is highly flexible. I homeschool my two boys during the week, which gives me the freedom to accommodate walks, visits, or in-home sitting throughout the day. My weekends are also open, so I’m available when you need me most. Whether it’s a last-minute getaway or regular weekday care. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs to keep your dog company. I allow the dogs to roam free but I can also crate them if needed or preferred.

“I had a great experience with Abby! She completed a drop-in visit for my dog and was kind, patient, and very attentive. My dog took to her right away, which says a lot. She was also very flexible and accommodating with timing, which I really appreciated. I definitely plan to hire her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

“I know my dog is in good hands when he’s with Kristyn. I love getting her updates with pictures and videos of my dog having a good time. I’m happy we have Kristyn to rely on when we need someone to look after our boy.”
