About: My name is Shannon and working with dogs is my passion! I’m a trainer and have two dogs (German Shepherd and German Shorthaired Pointer). I do require that all my boarding dogs are crate trained for their protection as well as up to date on all regular vaccinations. As I work from home, I’m normally not gone from the house for more than an hour or so at a time on a normal day. We do require dogs to be crate trained as they are crated overnight and when not supervised. I do keep client dogs mostly separate from other dogs until I get a feel for their play style and needs before they interact with other dogs (including my own personal dogs who are very dog friendly). I work from home so we are always home to care for an additional resident! We also have a young toddler who loves having dogs around the house to watch. Our regulars are already her favorites! Some dogs suffer from severe anxiety being in new territory so sometimes it’s best to have your pup stay in their home to make it easier on them. Of course the same goes for senior pups unless they require substantial care I have the means to actually stay in home and cater to their daily routine as I’ve had several jobs doing so. In my home I offer comfortable, personalized care for dogs or cats who enjoy a cozy, quiet space away from home. I have a dedicated space just for pet guests, where I can safely store their belongings (beds, toys, food, etc.) and give them a calm space to settle in. My home is clean, pet-friendly, and set up with all the essentials for safe and happy boarding, including food/water bowls, toys, and pet-safe cleaning products. If your dog is crate-trained, please provide their crate so they have a familiar, secure space to relax in. I want them to feel as comfortable and at ease as possible during their stay. If they are not crate trained and are a bed cuddler; please just let me know. I don’t mind as mine sleeps with me as well; so don’t ever feel judged based on you letting your dogs sleep with you.

About: I’ve taken care of all types of dog breeds since I was 16, I have experience with training puppies as well as working with older dogs and disabled ones as well. And I would love to care for yours! I currently work early mornings from 4:30am to around 11am, Monday through Friday but besides that I have open availability the rest of those days. I have an open place for your animals to walk with me as well as a friendly furry friend named Phoebe to keep yours company. If them staying with me is not what you want when it is just me one on one with your babies I pay extensive attention to their needs to make sure they are happy and healthy when you are not there.
