About: With years of experience caring for our own dogs, I treat every pet like family. I'm patient, attentive, and comfortable with puppies, seniors, and special needs. As a recent graduate with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. Your pet will get my full attention every day. I prioritize each pet’s safety and comfort by creating a calm, clean, and secure environment. Whether in my home or yours, I follow routines closely, provide plenty of supervision, and ensure pets always feel safe, loved, and stress-free.

“Jaime did a great job walking our old girl. She needs some special attention and he was able to provide that for us. We’re very protective of our dog and he made us feel at ease. Communication was also very good.”

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was a kid, but I had my first dog 19 years ago. I am very comfortable scooping poo, litterboxes, cleaning up vomit, and checking for abnormal bowel movements and eating habits that may be from stress while you're gone. I'm great at reading a dog and cat's body language, so I am patient about letting them control the speed at which we get to know each other. I love going for walks, and am used to handling dogs on leash that may get reactive to people, dogs, cars, etc. I've worked with horses in the past, so I can handle a large animal getting excited. Most importantly, I want your dog or cat to have fun! let's play! I work freelance from home, so my days are very flexible. I can do mornings, midday, and evenings very easily. Mon-Sun, and most holidays I am in the Ann Arbor area I will ask where your pets favorite safe spaces are in their home, where they like to hide, where they're favorite treats and toys are. If your dog just needs to romp in their backyard, I'll follow whatever your home procedure is if they need to be cleaned up after or not. I'll also keep an eye out for indicators of stress: vomit, accidents inside the home or outside the litterbox, scratches or bites on furniture, destroyed toys, etc.

About: Growing up we always had dogs and cats! My mom also had a pet sitting service and we would always help her out. I am responsible and detail oriented, and will do my best to make you and your pet comfortable. My goal is to make sure your pet is safe and comfortable and to make the experience as stress free as possible for both you and your pet! I also have First Aid/CPR certification for cats and dogs through the American Red Cross. I spend time at home with my kids. We will make sure to make your pet feel right at home! If you have a dog we like to go out and go for walks. We moved into this property two years ago and have a fenced in yard. The neighborhood is safe so walks with your dog won’t be an issue either.

About: I'm an owner of a kitty. I've watched other people's pets ever since I can remember. I'm relied on as a good pet sitter, always wanting the best for your pets. Plus I'm a lover of giving treats and good pets I've recently moved down to Saline MI from Marquette MI. I've also recently secured a job as a HHA. I visit my clients daily, but only for 3 hrs at a time. I usually work 8am-11am (I don't work this shift often), and 4pm-7pm. I'm definitely able to watch, walk, and snuggle your pet around my work. Usually only working 3hrs a day leaves me lots of time to visit or stay with your pet! Like I said, I'm a lover of good pets and giving treats. My kitty is quite the diva, and super spoiled. I believe every pet deserves the best care, and I'm here for them when you can't be!

About: I've had and loved and owned animals my whole life. I have worked at a vet's office, 2 humane societies, and 3 zoos. I used to travel to schools all over the country doing animal programs in schools, libraries, and other events. I've fostered dogs for rescued, and pets sat for friends. I'm retired, so all my attention will go to making your pet(s) feel safe and happy. I will provide stimulating activities and lots of cuddles. I am willing to give baths and do nails. I am experienced at giving medications and handling emergency situations. All toxins are out of reach.

About: I've fostered several dogs the past few years, including puppies and senior dogs. I've also taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family. I currently have a 1.5 year old Australian Shepherd puppy. I've raised her since she was 8 weeks old, so I understand the needs younger puppies may have. Your dog will also have a playmate! I work from home majority of the time so I have a flexible schedule to fit pet sitting, dog walking, and other services into my schedule. Weekends are also really flexible for me. Even if I have to step out for an errand, there will be someone home at all times. If that is not possible, your pet will not be left alone for more than ~4 hours. If you would like to board during days I need to be in office, I will communicate that clearly. I have experience with different types of dogs and cats, so I will have more knowledge on what better fits your pet. Also, I have plenty of space for them.

About: I grew up in a family of animal-lovers with a dog and 3 cats. Along with my sister, I fostered kittens for 3 years. In 2022, I adopted my cat Marigold (a foster fail!), which was the best decision I could’ve made. I have experience and love pet-sitting and walking dogs in Michigan. My schedule is currently very flexible so I am able to take bookings at any time of the day, seven days a week. Please reach out for specific availability! I have high expectations for pet sitters for my own cat and I will strive to meet the same standards for your pets. I will spend quality time with them when you can’t be there.

Maria & Augustin A.Star Sitter
“Maria kept our dachshund for us during a four-night out of state trip. She paid such great attention to him, I don't even think he missed us! She was very dilligent following his feeding schedule, and I know he loved all the cuddles and kisses he got. I would choose her first every time my pets needs outside care.”

Tristin P.
“Tristin spent many weeks in training at our local Humane Society in high school, so he could become a Junior Volunteer there. He then would pick up volunteer shifts to help out with the animals at the shelter. Tristin has always loved animals, and has looked after my 2 cats, and 1 dog many, many times if I was out of town, even my 16 year old dog when she was alive (a couple years ago). Tristin has also looked after many other family member's pets if they were out of town as well. Tristin adores animals, in all shapes and sizes, and would be a perfect fit for Rover.”

Denise M.
“Denise has a heart for all kinds of animals and experience working closely with them. She has cared for my pets when I’ve been out of town and I’ve always been happy with her service. Pet owners can be very particular about how their pets are cared for. Your pets will be given the attention they need.”

Ivy W.
“My dog, Pepper, warmed up to Ivy right away! I'm so glad I found Ivy, she took all details to heart and provided me with tons of updates. Pepper loved staying at her place. I could tell he was having so much fun!”

Amanda W.
“Amanda is a wonderful pet sitter! We consider our 2 cats and dog family members, so I am super picky when choosing their caretaker. Amanda has served as our cat sitter, and also as our dog walker. She does everything we request to care for our cats including feeding, play/snuggle time, and keeping the litter box tidy. She responsibly and reliably walks our 55 lb. border collie mix dog on the city streets. She communicates very well, and even sends picture updates. Best of all our pets are happy to see her when she arrives at our door, which makes me all the more confident leaving them in Amanda's care.”
York Charter Township dog parents share their Rover experiences
I cannot say enough good things about Maura! From day one, shes been professional, reliable, and—most importantly—amazing with Sonny. Every walk is more than just a quick stroll; it's a fun, energetic adventure that leaves my pup happy and tired (in the best way!). She genuinely cares about my dog’s well-being, always sending thoughtful updates, adorable photos, and letting me know how the walk went. It's such a relief to know my furry family member is in kind, capable hands when I can't be there. If you're looking for someone who treats your dog like their own and consistently goes above and beyond, look no further. Highly recommended!
