About: Without exception, the dog park is always one of the best parts of my day. I've had three dogs of my own, and have been around countless other dogs, most of whom instantly become my new best friends. We just gravitate to each other, hence the fuzzy friend whisperer nickname. I have a playful, loving attitude toward every dog I meet. I am also sensitive to dogs who need a little more patience and space to ease into trusting me and respect the boundaries that they need to do that. My training style with my own dogs is focused on positive reinforcement rather than punishment. This approach translates to other dogs as well, unless their owners request differently. Your dog will be in caring, responsible hands with me. They will be loved. Vogel Emergency Vet just opened right across the street from our house, so if anything kind of emergency pops up, your baby will be a hop, skip and a jump away from the care they need. I'm self employed and work mostly from home so my schedule is quite flexible. Sometimes I’ll have drop in visits throughout the day, but if your dog is boarding with me, there will generally be someone else at home with them. They’ll rarely, if ever be left alone. I live on a small farm but also live near a road, so your dog will always be safely on a leash when we go outside for potty breaks. I have a very friendly 12 year old 45lb labradoodle named Huck to keep your baby company in the rare cases that I'm not at home. I have a "squirrel observatory" (bird feeder) right near my workspace so your dog will not only be supervised most of the time but also entertained.

About: I’m a newly retired teacher and former principal that loves my doggies! Over the years, I’ve had so much love from my very special friends. Would love to give and get some loves from your treasured family member. I literally live in the middle of Stratham Hill Park and I love to walk. Only one “little guy” at a time…🥰 I’m loving my retirement and have lots of time and love to give. I have some scheduled exercise classes in the mornings but always home by 10:30. I’ve had so many dogs over the years. Routine visits to the vet are mandatory and walking, playing, and interacting with my friends are essential. I’m also very familiar with dogs with anxiety. One needs to approach this in a calm and careful way and watch the signs for anxiety coming on and be able to respond with love and kindness. Living right in the middle of Stratham Hill Park, I have easy access to the walking trails. Because I don’t know your dog, they will never be off leash but will be outside often during the day!! I love to walk. 🥰 I have a lovely crate IF your dog prefers this quiet space, but I will not be crating unless you ask me to. Typically my 11 year old grandson will come by after school to snuggle, play and go for a walk with me and your pup!

About: I have had all different kinds of animals in my life, including dogs, cats, ferrets, farm animals, reptiles, and more. I've taken care of animals ranging from senior dogs to newborn kittens and I've given them all the love that they need. I am available almost any day and time of day! About: Dogs have been apart of my life since day one, they are seriously the best companions. I have trained a few dogs, including my own lab who I got at 7 months as well as cared for senior dogs such as my childhood pup who got up to 14! Im free at some point and time every day! I can check up on dogs, take them for walks and have dogs stay with me overnight any day of the week. I care for pets just how they need to be cared for. About: After losing my best friend, Benjamin Franklin, a 13.5 year old Lab mix, in May, I’ve decided to open my heart and home to caring for other dogs. I got Ben from a rescue when he was just 12 weeks old and spent the latter half of his life caring for his complex medical needs, including medications, specialized nutrition, and significant mobility assistance toward the end. I miss him dearly, and I know just how much our dogs mean to us. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to sweet seniors, and am comfortable with administering medications and extra care needs. I work from home, so your pup will have plenty of company and attention in my quiet, cozy home. I also love getting outside for walks and hikes! Your dog will be welcomed with lots of love, patience, and snuggles. I know how hard it can be to leave your best friend in someone else’s care, and I want you to feel confident that they’ll be treated like family while you’re away. I currently work from home full-time M-F, so your pup would have company all day! I can board pretty much any day of the week, schedule lunchtime walks and will ensure your dog has what they need to be comfortable and happy. I have a large yard that has some fenced in areas. I am close to many walking trails that allow a longer walk. I generally do not walk with dogs off leash unless I am familiar with them, they have excellent recall and I can guarantee they understand and respect other dog's body language. Dogs are allowed on the bed and furniture if that is the rule at their home. I make it a point to prioritize their comfort and minimize any stress they may feel in a new environment.

About: New to Rover but not new to caring for animals! I grew up on a farm with lots of animals - dogs, cats, goats, horses, rabbits, chickens, pigs... I've also informally pet sat for friends and neighbors with dogs and/or cats in the past. I've been a cat mom in the past, but I don't have a pet of my own right now. For dog walking, my work from home job allows me some flexibility to stop by and take your pup for a stroll! I can do earlier mornings, a lunch time walk on some days, and evening walks after 5pm. For doggy daycare, I work from home full time at a desk job - if my day is "busy" it just means I had a few more zoom calls than usual. I would absolutely be able to take time to provide potty breaks and maybe a walk around the neighborhood when the weather is good. I live on a main street in town, but there's also a nice quiet neighborhood right behind me with minimal traffic, perfect for a quick walk. I do travel three or four times a year for my job, generally for 3-5 days each time, but I'd be able to give you at least a couple of months advanced notice for those trips - they are never last minute! For doggy daycare, I don't smoke and I have plenty of space for your pup to hang out during the day so they don't feel cooped up - including a wrap around enclosed porch that I can keep secure, and a tall privacy-fenced back yard/garden area. While the yard is fenced, I do get birds and other critters roaming through, and I have a flower garden that could have some toxic plants for over-curious dogs. Because of that, I would not to leave them alone outside, but take those breaks with them. My house does have a fairly steep flight of stairs, so a dog without joint pain or struggles going up and down multiple times a day would be most comfortable. I do have lots of houseplants and some could be toxic - so again, if your dog tends to be curious and take a bite out of plants, I may not be the best fit for you.
