“Couldn't be happier with the care our dog received. They kept us updated with photos and messages, and it was obvious our dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. They treated him like one of their own, and we came home to a relaxed, happy pup. It's such a relief to know we have someone we can completely trust. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable, caring dog sitter, and we'll definitely be booking with them again!”

“I had a lot of anxiety leaving my pup for the very first time and Russell did an amazing job with her! I would highly recommend him for your pet’s care! She was very well taken care of and he played with her, took her on walks and made her feel right at home. She is a high energy dog and he did fantastic with her!”

“Such a great experience having Nicholas and Sara watch our golden collie, Abby. They are reliable, responsible and mature. They provided lots of updates and photos which certainly calmed this overprotective, (a bit OCD) dog mom! Great sitters! I highly recommend them!”

“I HIGHLY recommend! Ron was so awesome. He's got a great big back yard that our dog loved. He was super responsive to both my fiancé and myself while we were gone. He sent pictures and our dog looked like he was having a blast. We won't be going with anybody else from now on! Thanks Ron, we appreciate you - Jeff”

“We are very happy with the care Jessica gave to Milo. She was helping us a lot with the process for a first time users, she kept us updated and treated Milo like her own. We will book again for sure!”

“I highly recommend Sandra for boarding care. She was so accommodating and responsive and took wonderful care of my dog, regularly sending check-in reports and photos/videos.”

“Joselyn was very kind in taking my pet on short notice after something unexpected came up. She was communicative and sent me daily updates. My dog had lots of fun playing in her yard and with her other dog and family. I highly recommend her!”

About: I had pets ever since I was a little girl. My dream job would be to work with animals. I currently have two cats at home who I rescued after being abandoned by their mother. They are sweet and loving but can be a little shy or skittish around new people and things — so they may hide at first, but they warm up quickly! They are fully socialized and pose no threat to visiting dogs or other pets. I am a dog lover and I'm looking forward to watching and caring for your pets. Even though I'm new on Rover I hope I can earn your trust on caring for your pets. I'm hoping this experience will help me create my own successful dog boarding business in the future. Right now I work full-time at Mac.bid. Fill free to message me if you have any questions or concerns about anything. I look forward in working with all of you. Thanks. I work full time Monday through Friday , so I am only available to care for your pup on weekends — Friday evening through Sunday. During this time I am fully dedicated and able to give your dog my complete attention, love, and care all weekend long! While I do have a fenced yard, I also use a ground stake and leash for added security during outdoor time — especially for dogs I am not yet familiar with. This ensures your pup can enjoy the fresh air safely while I get to know their personality and behavior. All outdoor time is fully supervised regardless!
“They were absolutely amazing with my little Simba. They kept me up to date on how he was and just made us feel so safe for him to be there. I would trust them with Simba anytime. And he have a great time making friends with Sophie. I would so recommend them for your pet as well. And Simba will definitely be returning, I don’t think we will trust him to anyone else again. Awesome experience! Thank you 🙏”

“Jennifer was fantastic with my dog Cody. She sent pictures and videos daily and messages letting me know how he was doing. Cody hasn’t done well in boarding environments. On the way home from Jennifer’s he was calm and content. He also became buddies with her dog Milo. I will certainly be taking Cody back to Jennifer!”

“We have a senior dog (almost 13) and an 8 months old puppy. They have very different personalities and needs, and Elaine and Chip took wonderful care of both of them. We are totally comfortable leaving our babies with them. My puppy was so excited to go back the second time, that he couldn't wait to get out of the car. Thank you Elaine and Chip for looking after them so well!”

“Brad sent me lots of pictures of my pups having fun with Brad, his wife, and their two pups. I think they were having more fun than I was having while I was out of town. I recommend Brad and would definitely use him again!”

“I believe this is the third time Joshua and Audrey have watched Teddy and it's been a perfect experience every time. They send frequent check in photos, take Teddy for hikes, and it's really nice they have a fenced in backyard for the dogs to run around. I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 15 years. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets while they are on weekend getaway or week long vacations. Our dog Stella loves to have other dog friends to hang around with. My wife and I both work from home and are able to take extra care of your dog during the day and at night our little ones once home from school love to play with the dogs. We are able to walk your dog two or three times a day during the work week and four or five times on the weekends along with letting the dogs play outside in the backyard that is fenced in and private. We interact with our dog each and every day, she typically follows us around the house and is very calm and quiet. The kids love to interact with her and throw the ball to her outside.
“Shelley was great! Tucker was a happy dog when we picked him up. She is a great communicator, sent plenty of pictures, took great care of of Tucker. We will definitely be back! Thanks again!”

Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
