Hi, my name is Shavonna and I’ve been on Rover since the beginning of Spring 2019. I’m 32yrs old and I live in Rock Hill SC, and I have two boys and a daughter. They are 1yr, 4yr, and a 11yr. I love working with animals, it’s my passion other than being a mother to my kids. I went to school for veterinary assistant and have a certification to help animals or to take care of them. I treat animals is like they was my own. I’m very sweet and gentle when it comes to someone pet and if you let me I can show you how a good pet sitter I can be! My skills are is to let the pet know that I’m in control because sometimes the pet might run over you, so you have to show them who’s boss. Any other way I will not neglect the animal nor abuse, I feel that’s an awful thing to do! Like I said you have to treat the animals as just as if was my own because they are human beings just in a different way!

This is our second time with Shavonna. Shavonna always takes such great care of our dog! She never fails to send updates and always makes an effort to make us feel reassured that our fur baby is doing well. We will definitely use Shavonna again!
Our Bear took to Shavonna immediately and didn’t look back when we dropped him off! She kept in touch with us and sent a picture and a video. We are helicopter dog parents so it was nice to be comfortable with his stay.
Booked Shavonna to watch my 12 week old puppy last minute & she took her in no problem. She sent pictures and updated me with how my puppy was doing. Very responsive and made sure my puppy was comfortable. Will be booking her in the near future again!!
Shavonna was very nice and let us know how our puppy was adjusting while we were out of town! She sent us pictures to reassure everything was going well! We really appreciate her caring for our puppy so well, especially for her first time away from home!
This was our first time leaving our small dog with Shavonna. Prior to the sitting day, we had a meet/greet. Shavonna is very friendly and courteous and has the perfect home with a backyard for small dogs. During the 4 day stay, she kept in touch with us with text messages and pictures. We dropped of a happy little dog and 4 days later picked up a happy little dog!!! We will definitely use her services again and would highly recommend her.

Schedule
I work from home. So basically I be at home the majority of the day. So I have time on my hands to fit pet care in my schedule!

I make sure they are well love as much love I give to my boys and daughter! I also will take them on walks as needed to get the nature outdoors!
A typical day
I can walk the dogs in our neighborhood it’s pretty big! Also I can make sure to watch them in my backyard if they are trained not to escape since my fenced is halfway and not fully fenced!
