“I booked with Natt for a last minute thanksgiving trip and I’m glad I was able to have her watch my dog Coco for me while I was gone. The communication from start to end was great all the daily updates on my dog and the picture mail was amazing my dog was well taken care of I appreciate and thank you for everything. I will be booking again in the future.”
About: I take my responsibility watching your pets very seriously and treat each one like my own! Over the years I’ve cared for pets with all different personalities, routines and needs, and I always make sure all animals receive the same love and attention. Message me and I would be happy to meet with you and your pets beforehand so you can both get to know me! I work at a job in the medical field Monday - Thursday and I am typically home on the weekends doing yard work or just hanging out! I have a fully fenced in yard with lots of room for your pet to run around, I also own a crate if necessary! I am also comfortable coming to your house overnight or just for a mid day check in!
“This my 1st time using Rover and was very anxious about everything but Anna was so helpful and kind! She kept in touch with me daily and sent pictures as well. I felt like my babies were in good hands and that made the experience so much easier for me! I’m so thankful for her help last minute and for being flexible with me. My babies looked happy in every picture and I couldn’t be happier! I will definitely be booking again with Anna and her amazing family! 🐾💕”

“We don’t let anyone else watch our French bulldog. David takes her for plenty of walks, gives her lots of attention, and makes sure she gets her medication. She’s very happy with David, as are we!”

“Marianne provided the perfect home away from home for my pup, who was very well cared over the couple of days she spent under her roof. I received lots of pics and videos and pupdates, and I know my dog would go back in a heartbeat! Can’t recommend Marianne highly enough.”

“Kimberly was so kind to take Toby my 19-lb Havenese dog very last minute! I have a bad wrist fracture and was not able to take care of him properly. She took such great care of him with only hours’ notice. I will definitely use her services again!”

“Kassandra and Johnathan were great with our Puppy Leo! He is a big ball of energy and they were great with him and he loved playing with their dog Charlie. I would recommend to anyone in the area and will definitely bring Leo back when we need boarding again!”

“Camilla exceeded all expectations and I would recommend her a million times over! She genuinely cared about my dog and did everything she could to keep him safe and happy while he stayed with her. She sent daily pictures and updates and I felt that I could trust and count on her completely.”

“Ginger took excellent care of Millie during our vacation. I was very nervous as this was her first time away from home. We were looking for someone who would love Millie as much as we do, Ginger is that perfect person! She is kind and loving and treated Millie like her own. We had a meet & greet with Ginger and Ranger (Ginger's sweet dog) prior to our boarding. This helped put my mind at ease that our pup would be well cared for. During the boarding Ginger provided me with daily updates and pictures. Millie was very happy during her stay and well cared for. I will definitely be using Ginger again in the future, she is just wonderful.”

“Vera kindly agreed to host our Piper with less than a week’s notice. She was super communicative, sending a reminder packing list prior to the visit, as well as detailed updates and lots of photos. Piper had a terrific time with Vera and returned home a happy pup. Thank you!”
“This is our 3rd or 4th time booking with John and he never disappoints! He is always such a pleasure and was even able to help us out last minute AND over a holiday weekend! He takes such great care of our elderly dog who usually doesn’t do well in new environments. We are so thankful to have found John :)”

“We had a wonderful experience with Bailey watching Rip and Thor. She communicated well throughout their stay, kept us updated, and clearly took great care of them. She gave them good walks and played with them regularly, and it was obvious they enjoyed spending time with her. Both dogs were happy and comfortable the whole time. We would definitely book Bailey again and highly recommend her!”

“I LOVE LOVE the 2 of them 🙂. It's so hard for me to find people who would take the time out for Acee but they made him so comfortable and feel so loved. These guys are perfect for first timers !”

“Karen was so kind, and really great with Gertie. I was so happy to see her quickly be affectionate with Karen which made me so happy! She sent me sweet photos and responded to my messages very quickly which was much appreciated. She took her into her home and everyone was happy. I am hoping to back up Karen’s way more in the future and will 100% use Karen again and also highly recommend her to other dog parents!!”

“Megan is so amazing with jade. I work alot so my dog does not get to interact with other dogs often. She made him feel right at home and I would recommend her services! 10 out of 10!”

“My dogs have stayed with Marisa multiple times. My male dog has a great time playing with her dog. My timid female dog usually takes a while to adjust, but has gotten more comfortable and follows Marisa around. Marisa is very accommodating and has always been available when I've needed a sitter.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wyatts
I dropped Stella off with a large cut on her lip (lord only knows what she got into) and she when I picked her up not only was that looking so much better but she was enriched (not a maniac by the time we got home) and Amber was able to administer pain killers to her. Best rover I've had in a while.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
96% of sitters in Wyatts can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Wyatts home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Wyatts.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
You and your Wyatts sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
