I'm recently retired from a long career as a professional equestrian and horse trainer, and I'm excited to begin this journey of offering pet care services to the community! I have experience with all types and ages of pets ... from very young to very senior. I have experience administering medications, giving injections, and basic first aid. My lifestyle is active, and I'm happy to provide whatever exercise that your pet needs, whether that is a long trail hike, or simply walks around the neighborhood. And lots of love and snuggles of course :) I also have extensive horse experience, and limited experience with other livestock, and I'm happy to provide services for those animals as well. I currently work from home and have an extremely flexible schedule, which allows me to work around whatever your pet care needs are. I have a reliable 4 wheel drive vehicle, so I can get to some of the further out Nevada County destinations no problem. I pride myself on being punctual, organized and reliable, and you can rest assured that your pet(s) and home will receive attentive and loving care. I am happy to take care of any additional tasks that you might need around your home while you're away (checking mail, taking out trash, watering plants/garden, etc. )

My name is Ayla and caring for animals and people has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember.I am currently a nursing student and someone i want you to feel comfortable in your home and with your pets. I have been fostering dogs since I was a kid, which gave me experience with all kinds of personalities—from shy rescue pups to high-energy dogs who love to play. I’m comfortable with dogs of different ages, sizes, and temperaments, including rescue dogs that may need a little extra patience. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands! I am currently available full time and can do both over night and day time check ins! I do have dogs of my own that i will need to come and check on while my brother is not home but otherwise can accommodate to the needs of your pet! I am very comfortable with all types of dogs and behaviors and am willing to accommodate to the needs of your dogs! My dogs are both indoor and outdoor with a gated in yard. Do not mind crating, walking, or feeding tempered dogs as long as warned prior.

For boarding in my home, I do require that dogs are potty trained. If you’re still working on potty training, I’m more than happy to support that process in your home. About: Since childhood, I have been surrounded by an array of animals, which created a deep respect and love for all animals. Currently, I live on my mother’s farm with two cats and have hands-on experience caring for animals of all sizes and ages, from newborns to seniors. While I work in dentistry, my true passion lies in wildlife rehabilitation. I treat every animal as a precious gift; whether yours or mine and I am dedicated to providing attentive and compassionate care while pet sitting your loved one! I work Monday-Thursday as a lead dental assistant. Monday-Wednesday I work 8am-9pm. However, Friday-Sunday I can very flexible. Hopefully my schedule can fit with the days you’re looking for.
