About: I have owned and cared for pets my entire life. I'm recently retired from a long career as a professional equestrian and horse trainer, and I'm excited to begin this journey of offering pet care services to the community! I have experience with all types and ages of pets ... from very young to very senior. I have experience administering medications, giving injections, and basic first aid. My lifestyle is active, and I'm happy to provide whatever exercise that your pet needs, whether that is a long trail hike, or simply walks around the neighborhood. And lots of love and snuggles of course :) I also have extensive horse experience, and limited experience with other livestock, and I'm happy to provide services for those animals as well. I currently work from home and have an extremely flexible schedule, which allows me to work around whatever your pet care needs are. I have a reliable 4 wheel drive vehicle, so I can get to some of the further out Nevada County destinations no problem. I pride myself on being punctual, organized and reliable, and you can rest assured that your pet(s) and home will receive attentive and loving care. I am happy to take care of any additional tasks that you might need around your home while you're away (checking mail, taking out trash, watering plants/garden, etc. )

I've had my challenges with the dogs so for someone to come in a take over for a week seemed a little daunting however Yolanda came through with 5 stars... I have no doubt the dogs were well taken care of as all instructions left were meticulously followed and the dogs were definitely well cared for not to mention the house was cleaner then I left it. There's nothing better then coming back from a vacation with well taken care of dogs. Would definitely recommend for worry free dog sitting”

I’m available for boarding service either at my home or yours for 2-4 days during the week and weekend boarding requests as well. We have two friendly dogs of our own, a Papillon and a Min Pin/Jack Russell mix, who enjoy having new companions around. They’re social, well-behaved, and help create an easygoing atmosphere for visiting pups. If a dog prefers their own space, I can separate areas to make sure everyone feels relaxed. For boarding in my home, I do require that dogs are potty trained. If you’re still working on potty training, I’m more than happy to support that process in your home. I’m also comfortable with crate routines, senior care, medication reminders, and maintaining whatever structure your dog is used to. As a father and longtime pet owner, safety and communication are top priorities, I send photo updates and check-ins so you always feel connected while you’re away.

About: Since childhood, I have been surrounded by an array of animals, which created a deep respect and love for all animals. Currently, I live on my mother’s farm with two cats and have hands-on experience caring for animals of all sizes and ages, from newborns to seniors. While I work in dentistry, my true passion lies in wildlife rehabilitation. I treat every animal as a precious gift; whether yours or mine and I am dedicated to providing attentive and compassionate care while pet sitting your loved one! I work Monday-Thursday as a lead dental assistant. Monday-Wednesday I work 8am-9pm. However, Friday-Sunday I can very flexible. Hopefully my schedule can fit with the days you’re looking for. Pets are my #1 priority. I care for them a great deal. My pets at home are cared for with love, attention, food and reliability. I treat my clients pets as my own.
