About: I grew up with a family of people and pets. I have always loved animals and always will. Often times my parents would leave the house for a get away. I am an only child so it would always be up to me to watch what was a big part of my life 2 cats and 2 dogs. It was something that was so natural to me being I grew up doing and my parents always trusted me with the duty. About: Welcome! The headline is true- I am mostly just a strange creature pretending to be human, which I've found animals tend to appreciate. A bit about me as a human working with animals: In the past, I have worked at the Humane Society in Nevada and have worked at two different veterinary offices. I am trained in animal restraint, medication administration, basic first aid skills, and have recently begun working on CPR training. I am equipped to handle all ages and all manners, though I'll admit that I do have a soft spot for senior dogs (I'm a big softie for all animals, so take that as you will). I have dog sat and walked countless times independently for years. I currently have a 15lb mixed-breed dog named Timber, who doesn't need to join on my adventures if you or your pet aren't comfortable with it. I'm currently not equipped to care for your critter in my home, but hopefully that will change in the near future! Please consider me when looking for someone to take care of your four-legged children (well ... however many legs your pets have, I won't judge). I will soon have a lot of availability on weekdays between 9am - 4pm, but am absolutely open to discuss different times you may need.
