About: We absolutely love animals, and want to share our home and fenced yard with your pooch. We understand what it’s like to leave your dog with someone else while you’re away; we will treat your dog like a member of our family. I (Diana) grew up on a farm with lots of different animals and dogs, and understand how each one has their own fantastic personality. Just let me know what they need, and I can do it. We’ve had puppies, older dogs, big dogs, small dogs, and everything in between! My tween/teen kids are kind and fun with animals, and will provide even more love and attention for your dog while they stay with us. Thank you for trusting us with your favorite furry buddy! We primarily work from home so we can spend a lot of quality time with your dog. We have a Newfoundland-poodle mix of our own, so our daily routine is already focused on dog care (feeding, walking, letting outside, etc). Just let me know what your dog needs! We also have goats, chickens, outdoor cats, and a couple of feral peacocks that hang around the property. It’s a pet paradise. 😊 We have a large fenced yard and a big goofball named Hoagie to keep your doggy company. We will love and care for your dog as if he/she was our own, because that’s what we would expect for Hoagie while we’re away. We have extra pet beds, food and water dishes, etc. Our yard is perfect for a game of fetch, a sunbathing session, playtime with Hoagie, or just a great sniff. We’re happy to have your dog sleep in one of our bedrooms, take them for walks, and give them all the love.

About: I’ve taken care and been around cats since I was little. I’m extremely in tune with their quirks and reading what they’re okay and not okay with. I’ve had 3 of my own cats, male and female. I know how to give oral medications and injections.

About: I began working with animals at a young age, volunteering at local shelters such as the Truckee Humane Society and caring for dogs in the Tahoe community. Over the years, this has grown into a genuine passion for providing thoughtful, attentive, and reliable care for pets of all kinds. I prioritize quality time, enrichment, and exercise tailored to each dog’s individual needs whether that’s a structured walk, outdoor adventure, or simply calm, consistent companionship. I am especially mindful of maintaining routines, reinforcing good behavior, and ensuring your pet feels safe and comfortable while you’re away. I also provide regular photo updates so you can feel connected and confident knowing your pet is in good hands. I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and detail-oriented, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. References are available upon request. My schedule is consistent and well-structured, which allows me to provide reliable and attentive care. I’m intentional about the number of pets I take on so that each dog receives plenty of one-on-one time, exercise, and engagement. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening care, and I do my best to accommodate specific routines or requests whenever possible. Whether your dog thrives on activity or prefers a slower pace, I tailor my schedule to meet their needs and keep things as consistent as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live on a large property that provides plenty of space for movement and exploration in a calm, natural setting. For safety, I always use a leash during walks and outdoor time until a strong relationship and reliable recall are established—or always, if that is your preference. I’m attentive to each dog’s temperament, boundaries, and energy level, and I strive to create a secure, low-stress environment where they feel confident and cared for. Clear communication with owners is important to me, and I follow all instructions closely to ensure continuity of care.

“My kitties were so happy with Jillian they were sad when she left. Sunny and Shadow had shiny coats from brushing. She fed them lots of tests at night. She sent many updates through the day depicting their walkabouts around the property. I felt like I was there with my cats at home from all the updates! I would highly recommend her services if are feeling nervous about leaving your home and fur babies. She was compassionate and was professional with her communication. I am so happy my cats had a friend to cuddle with while I was away. 😃”

“What a great environment for my dog. The backyard is a dog's dream, especially if your pup likes to run. Yolanda was very accommodating when I was delayed and kept me informed of how Beau was doing during his stay. I would highly recommend Yolanda and her Doggy Day Care.”

I'm trained as a professional pet nutrition advocate and have experience not just feeding all the pets but truly healing thru nutrition with everything from making whole foods and supplements, to designing recipes and diets, including the treats, to training and socializing dogs of all ages and backgrounds. About: As a cattle dog owner, I'd like to think I have a special set of skills for crazy babies. I have always had rescues and fosters in my home. I have been fortunate to work with foster pets from the Caribbean and Mexico as well, each of these often came with health issues. I have experience with pregnant dogs and cats as well! If you are interested in having your pet stay over, know I have two very friendly dogs. They have both experienced having guests and foster pets in the house as well. Tolerant and obedient. I have multiple rooms and baby gates for separation and quiet time. In general, I am a very active and outdoorsy person! So i am happy to take the pets out to the trails or the lake! I live on 10 quiet acres with a fenced yard. There is ample space to play outside or be kept safe and warm inside. I am fortunate to work from home. I have the ability to provide care all day and night for your pet! I walk each morning and evening and have the option to take your pet out for a walk or a play on the property in both fenced and unfenced areas. I have an older dog who is very arthritic so I am used to caring for the elderly animals as well. Pets in my home have their own room if needed. I have plenty of space for crates. I have a large gated deck and live on 10 acres on a quiet road. My own pets walk daily with me along my road which works well for easy elder dog walks as it is shady even in the summer. It also can provide great training ground as there is little traffic. For the high energy babies, we can play fetch or take to the trails nearby. I have always had rescue pitties so I am comfortable with big cuddly babies. I adopted a cattle dog pup who had clinical anxiety which has taught me how to care for highly intelligent, high energy dogs as well. Treats, love, and confidence makes for a happy dog!

“We came to Nevada City for a wedding and needed to find daycare for our dog Buckeye. Aron had wonderful revues and lots of repeat customers, so we felt good about leaving Buck with him. It was a great experience and Aron was as wonderful as his revues. We especially enjoyed receiving photos of Buck enjoying himself in the wading pool while we were at the wedding. Buckeye had a great time with Aron and his other dog charges and was a happy and tired boy when we picked him up. We highly recommend Aron.”

About: Offering a safe home away from home, compassionate care, and peace of mind for pet owners is something that all pet sitters should be offering. I go far beyond this standard providing both care and training. Since I was a child, dogs and cats have gravitated toward me and I've always enjoyed their companionship; you can almost always find me with at least one dogs around. It's never been an unruly mass of teeth and paws though; I've always taken the time to teach my furry friends to walk on leash, to have immediate recall, to be polite in kitchen, and to use their voices kindly. I do the same with every animal that I am given care of, gently coaching them to be civil, furry companions while showering them with love. I am currently working from home and set my own schedule. I have a set daily morning and evening walk which your pup(s) will join. During the day, you pup(s) will have company of two dogs, three cats and plenty of pets from me. On weekends we go on adventure hikes. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company during the day. I have crates, leashes, grooming tools and home made dog beds for all pet care needs.
About: I love being with older and disabled animals. I have my experience from working in Animal Shelters for about 2 years, doggie daycares, pet crematories and also petsitting for different companies and myself over 20 yrs. I am a full time traveling pet/housesitter with my 14 yr old pup. I have owned many animals throughout my life and have experience with meds, subQ fluids, end of life, aggressive dogs/cats and finicky pets. I'll treat your babies as if they were mine! I can also share many reviews from other platforms upon request. I am always available to help you out with your fur babies anytime! I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule. Everyday, any time I will follow all directions given in writing on how to care best for your sweet baby. I can do walks, playtime, exercise, training, massage and reiki and anything else needed!
“Nicole and Jarrod are amazing for doggy daycare. You know your dog has fun when they’re excited to leave not to mention the fun places they take the dogs. Thanks again guys”

“Tasha did an amazing job with Pico! Pico has anxiety and Tasha took extra special care of her. We met with Tasha for a meet and greet and she asked all the right questions. I felt completely comfortable leaving Pico with her. When I picked Pico up I could tell she had been well exercised. I high recomend and I would use Tasha again in the future.”

“My pup had so much fun with Lidia. When I picked her up she was calm, happy and content. She had the time of her life playing at the lake and sunning herself on the deck. I'd be thrilled to have her watching my dog again in the future!”

“Kelly was a wonderful sitter for my pup, Wilson! She was so kind and easygoing and Wilson had so much fun going on a hike and playing with her new puppy all afternoon:) It was a huge weight off my shoulders to know that he was safe and getting some good exercise while I was away! I would highly recommend Kelly to anyone looking for a daytime dog sitter.”

About: I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working as a professional dog sitter, and I genuinely love what I do. Taking care of animals isn’t just a job for me—it’s a passion. Each dog I care for has their own unique personality, and I truly enjoy getting to know them, understanding their needs, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. Whether it’s going for long walks, playing in the yard, or just curling up together for some quiet time, I always strive to create a comforting and fun environment. I’m dependable, attentive, and always treat every pet as if they were my own. It brings me so much joy to know that I can give pet parents peace of mind, knowing their furry family members are in caring hands. I have a very open schedule, which is very flexible. If you book me to work with your animal, I will be on time, and I am very reliable. When I dog sit, I make sure each pet feels comfortable and cared for in their own home. I stick to their regular routines, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions from the owner. I give them lots of attention, affection, and ensure they feel safe and relaxed while their family is away. I also keep the home tidy and provide regular updates so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for.
“Hannah was great with our sometimes shy or skittish Goldendoodle, who loved playing with her Golden Retriever. She sent a couple of updates during the day and our dog came home tired and happy from a day that included a walk at Pt. Isabel. We are excited to have found Hannah and will certainly be using her services again.”

About: Been a proud owner of goats, cats, chickens, reptiles and dogs. I've had experience in the veterinary field, worked with and cared for livestock and house pets. I am currently working full time as a CNA, my schedule is kinda wacky. I work PM shifts from 2:30pm-10:30pm, on a four on and two off rotation. In my own home I have reptiles and three cats and one older dog around. If your pet is staying with me or I’m keeping them company in your own home, I always am engaging with the pet. Any opportunity to play and have some fun, we’re doing it! If they’re more laid back and want to snooze next to me, I will relax with them.

“Words cannot express our gratitude to Deborah! We were looking to pull off a beach getaway for our baby and 2 dogs. As the dogs were not allowed at the hotel we had to find a sitter. Deborah is truly a wonderful, kind, gifted human being and anyone would be lucky to know her or have her care for their four-legged friend ! Her house is top notch as she we got to see where our dogs would be hanging out over night. Beautiful home and perfectly set up. She sent us photos throughout our time apart and reassured us everything was going smoothly. Deborah also has 2 other dogs and introduced them to ours upon arrival one at a time making sure they would get along. I truly know once Deborah is taking care of ours or anyone's dogs t hey can be worry free. Hope to be back again soon. Thanks again Deborah.”
