I enjoy spending time with animals no matter what the breed, and I pay close attention to routines, feeding times, and each pet's little quirks. I text updates and photos so you're never left wondering how things are going, and you get moments with your beloveds even when you are away! Pet care fits right into my schedule since I don't currently have a strict work schedule or 9-5 pulling me away. I can make time for a drop-in visit, walk, or pet sit whenever your beloved needs it, week days included, and of course on the weekends! Since I don't have my own space to host pets, all of my care happens in your home, on your pet's turf. I also have a cuddly, sometimes-sassy purr-machine of my own, Gyp, so I know pets have their own moods and quirks that deserve respect. “I can definitely say that after being gone for eight days I was very appreciative for what I came back to. I've had my challenges with the dogs so for someone to come in a take over for a week seemed a little daunting however Yolanda came through with 5 stars... I have no doubt the dogs were well taken care of as all instructions left were meticulously followed and the dogs were definitely well cared for not to mention the house was cleaner then I left it. There's nothing better then coming back from a vacation with well taken care of dogs. Would definitely recommend for worry free dog sitting”

About: Welcome! The headline is true- I am mostly just a strange creature pretending to be human, which I've found animals tend to appreciate. A bit about me as a human working with animals: In the past, I have worked at the Humane Society in Nevada and have worked at two different veterinary offices. I am trained in animal restraint, medication administration, basic first aid skills, and have recently begun working on CPR training. I am equipped to handle all ages and all manners, though I'll admit that I do have a soft spot for senior dogs (I'm a big softie for all animals, so take that as you will). I have dog sat and walked countless times independently for years. I currently have a 15lb mixed-breed dog named Timber, who doesn't need to join on my adventures if you or your pet aren't comfortable with it. I'm currently not equipped to care for your critter in my home, but hopefully that will change in the near future! Please consider me when looking for someone to take care of your four-legged children (well ... however many legs your pets have, I won't judge). I will soon have a lot of availability on weekdays between 9am - 4pm, but am absolutely open to discuss different times you may need. I'm flexible and adaptable and happy to work with you to fit you & your pet's needs. Since it would be at your place, I'm happy to learn your routine to keep your fur-baby comfortable. Walks, adventures, crating, playing in your fenced yard... Whatever your preference. I don't judge- what works for you all works for me!

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life. I walk a malamute and husky a lot. I pet sit for smaller dogs too. I love walking dogs because it’s a good exercise for them I currently am still in high school I graduate in June so right now I’m available to walk dogs around 4pm. I drive so I can do a little far distance When walking dogs I walk them for an hour and I always bring water to make sure they get the water they need and don’t overheat

About: I grew up with a family of people and pets. I have always loved animals and always will. Often times my parents would leave the house for a get away. I am an only child so it would always be up to me to watch what was a big part of my life 2 cats and 2 dogs. It was something that was so natural to me being I grew up doing and my parents always trusted me with the duty. Secret came and stayed at my home with my cats while I was out of town for a wedding. She provided me with twice daily text updates, a few photos, and was responsive when I reached out to her. Upon my return, my kitties were happy and my home was clean. You would have never known someone had been staying here. Above all, she provided me with a peace of mind just knowing someone was here with my extraordinarily spoiled fur babies. I'm recently retired from a long career as a professional equestrian and horse trainer, and I'm excited to begin this journey of offering pet care services to the community! I have experience with all types and ages of pets ... from very young to very senior. I have experience administering medications, giving injections, and basic first aid. My lifestyle is active, and I'm happy to provide whatever exercise that your pet needs, whether that is a long trail hike, or simply walks around the neighborhood. I currently work from home and have an extremely flexible schedule, which allows me to work around whatever your pet care needs are. I have a reliable 4 wheel drive vehicle, so I can get to some of the further out Nevada County destinations no problem. I pride myself on being punctual, organized and reliable, and you can rest assured that your pet(s) and home will receive attentive and loving care. I am happy to take care of any additional tasks that you might need around your home while you're away (checking mail, taking out trash, watering plants/garden, etc. )

About: I've been around pets my whole life. When I was little, we had a mini labradoodle named Roxy and a cat named Snickers. I remember watching Cesar Millan and training Roxy to sit and to heel while walking. As I got older, we got more cats that ended up having kittens, and at one point we had 12 cats! Now, when I'm home from college, I help take care of two golden retrievers and a poodle that we have, as well as cats and chickens. I have a big heart for animals. I enjoy petting them, playing fetch with them, making sure they sleep well at night and feel loved. It would be an honor to meet you and take care of your pets! For the summer I'm currently studying for the MCAT which I take end of August. Because of that, my schedule is pretty free, and I don't have any job or school responsibilities to pull me away from giving pets the best care possible. I'm available to hang out with your pets while I'm studying, and make sure they have everything they need. Our poodle at home is getting old and has Cushing's disease, which makes her bones quite fragile. As such, I would prefer to watch your pets at your house. I'm happy to walk or play fetch with dogs, pet your animals, feed them and make sure they have water, and whatever else you do to keep them happy.
