“Booked Jennifer last minute for a few walks over the weekend. She truly saved the day! She was super responsive from the first inquiry all the way through taking care of our doodle. She showed our dog amazing care each time, playing with him, going on walks, feeding him. Highly recommend and our pup loves Miss Jennifer!”

“Katrina watched my cat Pixie while I was away. She was great at communicating, taking pictures and letting me know how she was doing. She also brought in packages and mail. I will use her again in the future.”

“SOOOOO helpful and loving to our dogs, we asked for her help on VERY short notice and Katie was able to come by and meet our pups and they loved her right away!! Fed and walked, she went above and beyond to make sure they were ok and helped when we were out of town. For sure using her again if needed!!”

“Paige was so easy to work with and took really good care of my two dogs. There was even an accident that she cleaned up. She kept me updated throughout my trip and followed my instructions as I asked.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking since high school and have always loved being around animals. I grew up with a dog that I miss very much, so getting to spend time with pets is something I genuinely enjoy. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of different sizes and personalities! I work on the weekdays, so I’m available for evening walks and pet care during the week anytime after 4 pm. I have open availability on the weekends. I know how it feels to have a pet you love and adore. I will follow any and all owner directions closely, pay attention during walks to be sure your pets are taken care of!

About: I specialize in consistent, private dog walks for busy Charleston & Mount Pleasant (Dunes West and Park West area) families who want reliable and loving pet care. While I’m happy to support one-time or as-needed walks, most of my clients are on a weekly schedule (2–5x/week) and that’s where I see the biggest difference in dogs. With consistent walks, dogs tend to: • have better behavior at home (less jumping, barking, restlessness) • feel more calm and balanced • build trust through a familiar routine • get the right amount of physical + mental stimulation each day Each walk is tailored to your dog, whether they need a calm, slower-paced walk or something more active and engaging. I’m comfortable with higher-energy dogs and can keep up with more active routines when needed. Living in Charleston, I’m mindful of heat and humidity, especially in warmer months. I plan walks accordingly by choosing shaded routes when possible, adjusting pace, and always bringing fresh water to keep dogs comfortable and safe. I provide reliable scheduling, consistent timing, and personalized care, so your dog always knows what to expect. You’ll receive thoughtful updates, photos, and the peace of mind that your dog is in good hands! I love working with dogs on a regular schedule and becoming a trusted part of their routine. Pet care is a consistent part of my daily routine, and I structure my schedule around reliable, recurring walks for my clients. Most of my availability is during weekday mornings, mid-day, and early evenings—ideal for dogs who benefit from a steady routine while you’re at work or out for the day. I plan my schedule to allow for on-time arrivals, unhurried walks, and personalized attention for each dog. For the best experience, I prioritize clients on a set weekly schedule, which helps ensure consistency and reserved time slots. Limited weekend availability is offered for existing or recurring clients. I provide care exclusively in your home, where your pet is most comfortable and able to maintain their normal routine. I treat every home with the same level of respect and care as my own—keeping things clean, secure, and exactly as you left them. I’m mindful of entry/exit routines, doors, gates, and any specific instructions you provide to ensure your pet’s safety at all times. During visits or walks, your dog is always securely leashed (unless otherwise discussed), and I stay attentive to their behavior, surroundings, and comfort throughout. I also pay close attention to small changes in behavior, energy, or appetite and will always keep you informed. My goal is to provide a calm, consistent, and reliable experience so both you and your pet feel completely at ease. I’m happy to follow any specific routines, preferences, or care instructions to keep things as seamless as possible.

About: I have been working as a veterinary technician since 2023. I believe it’s very important to advocate for those without a voice. My knowledge, skills and intuition allow me to give the best care possible. I grew up taking care of various animals including dogs, cats, and birds. From feathered to furred and all creatures in between, I make animal caretaking a routine. I work part-time on the weekends, so my availability during the week is open as needed. Friday and Saturday I am available morning and evenings (before and after work). I will adjust to whatever your pet needs within your home. Whether they need playtime or naps, walks or backyard entertainment, I can comply accordingly.
“Cami is very reliable and takes great care of my dog with drop-in visits and walks several times per week. She is responsive to scheduling requests and is very professional. I enjoy seeing the photos of my dog during check-ins while at work!”

“Cassidy was amazing! She is super responsive and happened to be available for a last minute request to check on our golden! He looked so happy in all the sweet pictures that she shared during her visits! I would definitely recommend her and use her again! Thanks Cassidy!”

“Emma watched Ava for two weeks while we were out of the country. I am so happy we had her as our sitter!! She was extremely reliable and timely and I could tell truly has a passion for animals. She is so sweet and took great care of our girl - and I would rebook her again in a heartbeat!”

“I highly recommend Delia to anyone looking for a trustworthy, responsible and great dog sitter! This was our first time using her and definitely plan on using her again soon. We have 2 big dogs and 2 cats that can be a handful, but she did great and they loved her. Always prompt and we're grateful we found her.”
“Delaney was awesome and easy to work with. She met me and my 2 dogs beforehand for a quick introduction and then was timely in checking in on them throughout the week. Good care and great communication. Will book again!”

About: For the last 4 years that I’ve lived in North Carolina I have been dog sitting for my parents coworkers and any people that have asked. I’ve owned and been around cats since I was a baby. I love going on walks and appreciate being able to take an animal with me. I’m taking the summers mostly off since I work a lot during the school year. In the summers I go on walks one to two times a day. I’m very careful with making sure that there are no possible choking hazards on the ground that a pet could possible eat and I keep any tripping hazards off the ground. We also have a small fenced in backyard so I can keep a close eye on any possible pets.
“Jessica was GREAT! Our big baby, 120# Rottweiler named Belle, is afraid of most new people. But, not with Jessica! She immediately took to Jessica and even quickly showed Jessica her belly!!! We are so relieved!”

About: I have cared for dogs my whole life. I grew up with a Pug, a Yorkie, a Portuguese Water-Dog, and a Havanese. I’m reliable, observant, and focused on making sure your dog feels safe and comfortable while you’re away. ( I also love to play & snuggle) I work fully remote so my schedule allows for a lot of flexibility. I usually go for short walks throughout the day and would love a pup to join me! I live in an apartment with a "no-pet" policy. Meaning, I will only be able to provide services at the client's home or walking in a neighborhood.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 44 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Woodville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
