“Margaret was perfect. She was very accommodating, easy to work with etc. It appears that our two cats liked her a lot and I think she liked them also. She sent several cute photos. She left the house very neat and clean. We were very lucky to find her on relatively short notice. We will certainly hire her again if our needs and her availability coincide in the future.”

“We are so happy Liah was available to take care of our energetic pup! Liah immediately focused her attention on building a relationship with Moosie and we appreciated her obvious love of animals. Liah was responsible, reliable, and considerate.”

“It is challenging to leave our anxious dog when we go away. Joyce made it so much easier! She is very thoughtful and went above and beyond to understand our dog and give her lots of attention. She sent us the sweetest daily updates. Also, it was very clear when we got home that she had taken very good care of our house. Joyce is now on our short list of favorite dog sitters. We will have her dog/house sit again without question.”

About: I have a dog and a cat, both are very friendly. I trained my puppy from 8 weeks old, and he is now a very sweet and calm 3 year old little man. I love dogs of all kinds, and many friends have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets while they are away. I have taken several training courses with my pup and can help teach your dog some basic skills too! I am a graduate student so I have a pretty flexible schedule. Typically I can work from home part of the day, and I rarely work weekends. Pet care is already part of my routine, and typically includes a morning, afternoon, and evening walk, potty breaks as needed, and plenty of playtime. I have a friendly dog who loves to play, but will match your dogs energy. My 11 year old cat prefers to be left alone and will likely not interact much. I am happy to bring my pup for playtime/walks at your house, or leave him at home if your dog prefers solo walks. I live in a two bedroom condo by myself, there are plenty of walking paths around, but no real yard. I don't like to do dog parks, as I have had some issues with aggressive dogs in the area and don't feel safe there, but love to take my dog on little hikes at places like Red Rocks and Shelburne Bay.

“Anesa is great. She and Dexter got along famously. We appreciate that she took him on a hike and on playdates with other dogs over the weekend. She also gave us periodic photo updates which were greatly appreciated. We'll definitely rebook the next time we need a sitter!”

About: I am mostly interested in hosting cats but if you have a well tempered pup I would be willing to discuss if we would be a good match. I have time before I go to work (from 6 am to 8 am) to check on animals and after I get out at 5:00 pm I am available Monday through Friday. Saturday's I am available after 1 pm and Sunday I have open availability. I love cats and want them to feel most comfortable. Give me a list of their likes and dislikes and I will be sure that we will have a splendid time!

About: I am a current medical student in the area who has had dogs around her for her entire life. I have experience with small, medium, and large dogs of all breeds. I am responsible and quick in an emergency. I am also familiar with lots of walking trails in the area! I am a 4th year medical student with a pretty open schedule. Reach out with any inquiries and I will try to accommodate your needs! For pet sitting, I am available to stay at your home to keep your pet company as well as take them outside as often as needed. I am respectful, responsible, and professional in all spaces.

“Charlotte provided super care to Chance and SnickerDoo including consistent communications and pictures for us. She also left our home clean and secure following our time away. Well Done!”

“James is an awesome dog and house sitter! He took the dogs on great walks and sent us some adorable pictures while we were away. We came home to two happy, calm pups and a clean, orderly house. Highly recommend!”

About: My mother is a veterinarian with her own practice, so I grew up around an abundance of animals and know plenty about caring for them. My career allows me to choose my own schedule, I don't usually have shifts longer than 5/6 hours long. This allows me to take dogs out for walks or to a dog park, or I can just go home and hang out with my cat. I have a large fenced in yard with access to woods, plenty of local trails for dog walks, local lake of your dog likes to swim. Dogs and cats in my home, but there's a good sized guest bedroom that is kept closed of from the rest of my home if you have a pet that is less friendly with others.

“Kira was great. Our pup keeps looking for her in our guest room after bonding during her stay. She was communicative, responsible, and good with our loving but anxious dog. She took him for hikes and walks, kept our house clean, gathered the mail, etc. We would happily have her pet sit again. And Dozer would be thrilled to see her again.”

“Kasey did a great job with my two weener dogs, Oscar and Lucy. When I got home, they were quite chill and happy which is noteworthy given they have separation anxiety. Kelsey is a great communicator and kept me posted on their wellbeing while I was out of town. I'd highly recommend her!”

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, horses, cows, goats, fish, peacocks, etc. I’m very comfortable with animals of all temperaments. I was a competitive horse back rider, and during that time I took care of my stables other farm animals as well. Nothing phases me when it comes to animals! PLEASE DO NOT BOOK DOGGY DAYCARE UNLESS I AM ABLE TO WATCH YOUR DOG IN YOUR HOME 😋 I am currently working freelance so I am home most of the time. I have two dogs at home so I’m not able to do in my own home care! I have experience with many different animal personality’s and temperaments. I have cared for animals with anxiety, dog aggression ,food aggression, and separation issues. I am a major problem solver so I have yet to find an issue with a pet that I cannot resolve!

About: I work remotely for an international development organization based in DC. My schedule is flexible, leaving me plenty of time to spend outdoors with some new furry friends! I have always loved taking care of dogs and come from a large, dog-owning family. I have extensive experience dog walking and sitting both small and large breeds, from Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to Labs to Bernese Mountain Dogs! I currently own a 4 year old white shepherd named Storm who loves to walk and play with other dogs. I am open to taking our pups on walks together, on trail hikes, or to the dog park. Available for daily walks, drop in visits, and dog sitting. I look forward to meeting you! Also open to discussing boarding in our home, pending meet and greet with my dog Storm. I work remotely from home, so I am flexible when taking care of dogs. Happy to work with you on a recurring schedule, or for one-time walks/visits! I work remotely full-time from home and my schedule is flexible. I take my dog, Storm, out for short (less than 30 min) and longer walks (over 1 hour) 2-3 times a day. We also enjoy using nearby trails, as well as the trails on our property. I currently live in a farmhouse in Royalton. There is no fenced in area, but we have trails on our property for dogs to walk (on leash) or run (depending on your comfort and their recall).

Olive T.
“Olive is my go-to dog and cat sitter. I have two Labrador Retrievers and two Maine Coon cats. My labs love her--she stays overnight (and lets the dogs cuddle in bed with her, which is their preference), walks the dogs, plays with them, and feeds the dogs and cats according to schedule. Olive's mother is my vet--which leaves me to believe that Olive knows how to manage and handle dogs by osmosis! She is very dependable, leaves my home tidier than it was when I left, and communicates with me (texts and photos) while I am away.”

Grace M.
“Grace has watched our precious furry baby Finnie many times. She is very reliable and Finnie loves her. She always goes above and beyond by sending lots of pictures each day and she also does special things like giving him a bath and finding him special toys she knows he will like. We really love Finnie and there is so much peace of mind in having someone like Grace to care for him. I can recommend her highly enough.”

Laura R.
