“Jen is an extraordinary pet sitter. She takes care of our 11 weeks old puppy at home and we can totally trust her with Millie's care. Jen knows about puppy care and dogs and whenevere we ask her for advise she gives us her advice and it is such a reassurance since we have no background care on puppies. She is very reliable and makes sure Millie is alls et with all her necessites before Jen leaves the house. Thank you Jen.”

“Joyce home sat our pets (1 dog and 3 cats) for three days. She was great with our pets and our stubborn Beagle really warmed up to her. Long dog walks and lots of photos. She not only did everything we asked to care for our large SR dog, but she cared for our home just like it was hers. She even washed the sheets on her bed and remade it before we got home. Shelby deserves the very highest rating and we expect to use her again many times before she moves away soon. Accolades and praises all the way!!”

“Danielle was absolutely amazing! We will continue to ask her to look after our pups for our future trips. About: I work remotely for an international development organization based in DC. My schedule is flexible, leaving me plenty of time to spend outdoors with some new furry friends! I have always loved taking care of dogs and come from a large, dog-owning family. I have extensive experience dog walking and sitting both small and large breeds, from Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to Labs to Bernese Mountain Dogs! I currently own a 4 year old white shepherd named Storm who loves to walk and play with other dogs. I am open to taking our pups on walks together, on trail hikes, or to the dog park. Available for daily walks, drop in visits, and dog sitting. I look forward to meeting you! Also open to discussing boarding in our home, pending meet and greet with my dog Storm. I work remotely from home, so I am flexible when taking care of dogs. Happy to work with you on a recurring schedule, or for one-time walks/visits! I work remotely full-time from home and my schedule is flexible. I take my dog, Storm, out for short (less than 30 min) and longer walks (over 1 hour) 2-3 times a day. We also enjoy using nearby trails, as well as the trails on our property. I currently live in a farmhouse in Royalton. There is no fenced in area, but we have trails on our property for dogs to walk (on leash) or run (depending on your comfort and their recall).

About: READ BEFORE BOOKING: Boarding + Daycare in our home I live with four other people: one human (my partner Jason), one canine (a 2-year-old Border Collie Poodle girl), and two felines (a 1-year-old girl and a 13-year-old queen). All of them are very friendly and well socialized. However, this means that if I board your dog, or take them in for daycare, they have to be familiar and respectful with cats, and well-socialized with dogs. Ideally they love playing and chasing (but not the cats). I work from home on my budding dog business, and I am enrolled in The Academy For Dog Trainers, studying canine behavior and training. It is easy for me to have another dog around, but I will require a visit to my house first to ensure the dogs get along, and your dog won't chase my cats. Ideally, we go for a walk together first, to give the dogs the opportunity to meet on neutral turf. I will only take one guest dog at a time. They'll get to play to their heart's content with my dog in a fully fenced large yard. Sitting in your home: If I stay at your home to petsit, I will bring my dog along. This is not negotiable. She's fully housebroken and well-behaved. I will require a visit of your home to ensure our dogs get along in your dog's territory. Ideally, we go for a walk together first, to meet on neutral turf. I will need reliable high-speed internet at your home. Bonus: I’m really good at taking care of plants, too. General dog weight preference: My preference is dogs who are 50lbs and under, unless they are really mellow or well-behaved. I want to be able to control them and keep everyone safe. My partner Jason and I just love all animals. I will be your sitter / primary caretaker, but in our home, Jason will give a lot of additional affection and attention, when he's around. I’ve been a dog parent for over 20 years, and have lots of experience with all ages and special needs. I am very diligent about catering to your dog’s specific needs and keeping you updated as frequently as you like, including lots of pictures. I usually drive my own dog to various trails in the area every morning and we go 3+ miles, I'd be happy to take yours on hikes, too, if they like car rides and can handle the exercise. Your dog will be with me and my dog all day long. Throughout the day, I take frequent breaks and let them out, be it for more walks, or a game of fetch or chase in our large yard. As soon as I'm certified as a dog trainer, I'll be happy to take on training as well. I will watch your dog in my home or yours. I’ll adhere to their normal schedule and needs. They'll have a friendly play buddy in my own dog.

“Ariel stayed two nights at my home with my dogs and I am so grateful to have found her. I’m an incredibly anxious dog mom and she is so compassionate and understanding of that and took such great care of my dogs and sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. My dogs absolutely love her! I highly recommend her. She’s reliable and communicative and I’m looking forward to having her stay with them again soon!”

“It is clear that Georgia loves animals. Our dog was well cared for, the house was spotless on our return, and she kept in touch throughout our trip. Would have back in a heartbeat!!”

About: I’m a pet sitter and dog walker with professional experience from Tails n Trails LLC in Providence. I’ve cared for everything from horses and donkeys to ferrets and guinea pigs—no animal too big or small! I’ve owned both a small dog and a big one, so I’m super comfortable with all sizes. I’ve also volunteered as a trainer at humane societies and am happy to work with reactive dogs too! I just really love animals and giving them the care they deserve! I’m currently working part time so I’m on a bit of a sabbatical this summer which makes me super available to watch your fur baby! At my home I have an unfenced yard so mostly the pups would be walking or hiking with me. As for at your home I am happy to step right into your routine weather that’s long walks park visits or just letting them outside!

“Laura has dog sat and walked our dogs on numerous occasions. She has been amazing! Laura was prompt, responsible, and very friendly. Best of all, Zoe and Bryce really liked her! They connected with Laura very quickly and responded to her in a very positive way. I would highly recommend Laura as a dog sitter and/or dog walker. Zoe and Bryce can't wait to see her again!”

11. Julia T.
“When there's a spider in the house, Julia gently catches it and releases it outside. She's a lover of animals, especially dogs. I watched her take care of two Schnauzers for the last 8 years, and they were the luckiest and healthiest dogs on earth (she taught them to love their veggies). Her life revolved around the happiness of them both, everything else came second. Your dogs will be in extremely good hands with Julia, well loved, healthily snacked, exercised and pampered. They'll be the center of her universe while they're in her care.”

“Maggie is the epitome of an animal lover. She has taken care of my very anxious pup many times and he absolutely adores her. I would trust her with any animal and I know they will be treated with love and respect. She was also a dog walker for a while so she was able to teach my pup some manners on her walks. Your animals will be glad you picked Maggie to take care of them!”
