Meanwhile, my young dog Rafe completely bonded to Sam and kept her in sight all the time. Plenty of outside exercise and I loved the photo updates. I’ve never boarded these two before but it worked out great and will happily board with Sam again.”

About: I've owned and taken care of dogs my entire life. I'm proud to be one of the first people friends and family call when a petsitter is needed. I love walking, and I love dogs. This seems like the perfect opportunity to exercise and get my animal fix! I'm currently working full-time Monday through Friday. I can do evening walks after 5:00 PM (as weather allows) and I can do weekends between 9:00 AM - 6 PM. My current apartment doesn't allow pets, but I can housesit on weekends or in the evenings if the location is somewhat close to my work in Waterbury. I'm a long-time vegetarian, and have always had an extra sensitive heart when it comes to animals. I think that earning an animal's trust is such a privilege and gift, and I honor that. I cannot house pets in my current apartment, but I will follow the guidance and knowledge of the owners in their homes and while on walks.

About: I have had dogs in my life since I can remember, from family dogs to dog sitting for friends in high school, to now owning my own two little creatures. I am knowledgeable and comfortable with high-anxiety dogs and leash-reactive dogs (one of mine is both of these and more!) and am comfortable and confident with all sizes, breeds, and ages. There's nothing better than plugging into a good podcast and taking a nice, long walk with a furry friend. I have experience with all types of dogs, especially bully breed dogs (pit bulls, boxers, etc) and everything from high anxiety dogs to puppies to elder care dogs. I can administer oral medication, and have given humans shots before so with some owner coaching, would definitely be comfortable administering injected medication if needed. I'm currently working part time, so I have lots of time to take your pup on a walk during the day or hang with them while you’re out of town. I live in Burlington, VT, but I'm willing to travel. I am happy to come to your home where your dog is already comfortable and familiar. Having two dogs who have utilized Rover for this reason, I believe it is the best option for some high-anxiety dogs not to be put into an unfamiliar situation when their parents are gone. About: I have had dogs my whole life. I worked at a doggy day care facility for 5 years and gained a ton of experience with dogs of all sized and temperaments! We have had 10 foster dogs in recent years who have taught me a lot! My current dog keeps me very active and we love long walks, hikes and the beach! My schedule is currently wide open. My dog is my everything and yours will get the same love and care while with me! We do long walks when temperatures allow and brief outdoor breaks during the day to stay cool and get in some exercise! I live in an apartment that is very walkable and has many parks around! My dog is a great playmate for other female dogs, and does good with most boys as well. We love long walks on the many trails in the area and love to explore!

I grew up with two labradoodles and I have also cared for friends' animals while they have been away. One of my dogs has Addison's disease, so I am familiar with giving medication to pets.
