“Nathan stayed in our home to watch our two 9&1/2 year old dogs for ten days. He communicated well and often, sending videos as well as regular updates. The pups are older & require some medications, which he had no problem administering for us. Nathan definitely gave our dogs the attention they need and love. Not only do we recommend Nathan, but we would certainly book him again!”

About: Growing up with three dogs and a cat has given me a deep love and understanding of animals, especially dogs. One of my fondest memories is training my dog when she was younger; it was such a rewarding experience that strengthened our bond. I truly believe that all animals deserve attention, love, and patience, and I make it a priority to provide exactly that. Having had three dogs myself, I have learned the nuances of their behavior, especially with those sassy pups who crave attention and affection. I know just how to connect with them, ensuring they feel understood and secure. Whether it’s through structured play, training sessions, or simply cuddling on the couch, I am dedicated to providing personalized care tailored to each dog's unique personality. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely loves and understands dogs, I would be thrilled to meet yours. Together, we can create a nurturing environment where your furry friend feels valued and engaged. I'm currently working part-time at an internship, so I have adequate time to care for your animals. My weekends are mostly free, so please feel free to reach out to see if I have a time that works with your schedule. I want to assure you that I will take exceptional care of not just your beloved pet but also your home. My commitment goes beyond simple pet sitting; I am more than happy to help tidy up around the house as needed. Whether it's keeping your pet engaged and out of trouble or ensuring that their playtime doesn't lead to any messes, I will make it my priority. Your fur friend will receive all the love and attention they deserve, and I'll also keep an eye on their surroundings to make sure everything stays in order. You can rest easy knowing that both your pet and your home will be in capable hands!

About: I have had a dog my whole life. After my old family dog passed I decided it was time to get a puppy. After months of working closely with my pup she has succeeded in recall, leash walking, show tricks and more! She is great with other dogs and would love to hangout with your pup! I am home for the summer from college with no other interfering work plans so your dog will be at the top of my list every day!! I am always alert of other dogs around, I stay away from the street, I always have a plan so you’ll know where I am and when I’ll be back with your furry friend

“Tina was wonderful with our puppy. He had never had a pet sitter before, and she took excellent and loving care of him, with lots of play time, exercise, and even some training. He even cried when she left! We will definitely ask her to take care of him again.”

“Michele was amazing with my three animals— we were a last-minute booking and she came to meet them first and then worked hard to make them feel at ease. She was attentive, kind, and caring and sent us updates and photos to reassure us that all was well. She made our holiday trip possible and we are super grateful!!”

About: I've been a pet caretaker since I was 12. Dogs quickly connect with me for play, walking and companionship- just like you were there too. I have a very flexible schedule with my JMU classes this semester so I have lots of available time to spend with your fur baby. I am currently home for summer! I am very comfortable using any style leash for walking and using crates. My time with your fur baby will focus on play, fun and comfort
About: What sets me apart is the level of love, patience, and personalized care I give every pet. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel comfortable and safe while you’re away. I’m experienced with puppies who need consistency, potty breaks, playtime, and basic routine reinforcement, as well as senior pets who may need a gentler pace, extra patience, medication support, or additional comfort. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents always know their furry family members are happy and well cared for. I’m able to help out on Monday-Friday or Saturdays and Sundays. Let me know what fits your needs and I will be more then happy to accommodate! I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Especially in their own home. I do not accept boarding as my currently home is renting.
About: I love dogs! I’ve always had at least one dog at home, so I’ve truly been working with them as long as I can remember. Animals have always brought me so much comfort, and I hope to do the same for them :) I have some free time this summer and would love to fill it by helping others. I love meeting new furry friends and getting outside and moving! I am very gentle and loving with all animals. Kids are not really my thing, so I’ve always taken a special liking towards pets. I have great outdoor space at my home if that’s something you’re interested in and in general just love to spend time outside.
“Zach took wonderful care of our home and dog while we were out of town. Harlow was spoiled with so many snuggles and quality time. We hope to have him stay again in the future. Thank you, Zach!”

Woodridge pet parents share their Rover experiences
Highly recommend Abigail. Very communicative in both setting up a meet and greet and while caring for our dog while we were away. Provided regular updates and pictures and left our house just as we did, including with our happy and healthy pup. We will reach out to Abigail again without hesitation for any future dog watching/walking needs.

Abigail was instantly warm with our dog, seamlessly showing a ton of love and care from the meet and greet. We haven't felt as secure leaving our old pup with anyone—dear friends and family included—and this relieved a great deal of friction and stress so we could enjoy our time away. While we were away she sent regular photo updates, which were very well received, and text responsive updates. Our dog is a velcro dog, and quite particular in his old age, and she went above and beyond to care for him. Abigail was a perfect house guest, as well, and left detailed notes for debriefing. We, and our dog, can't wait to book with Abigail again!
