About: I have worked at a dog kennel and doggy daycare, where I cared for dogs of all sizes. I have also been petsitting for 15 years. I am an absolute animal lover and will care for your dogs like they're my own. I have experience with dogs of all ages who take medication. Growing up, my family dog needed an insulin shot twice a day, so I am absolutely able to administer any medicine necessary. I currently work 9-5 Mon-Fri and take care of my own dog during the afternoons. I am available to walk or visit your dog in the afternoons as well. I am available on weekends to overnight sit and\or walk your pets. I live in a woodsy neighborhood that is very walkable. I am also 3 minutes away from a fenced in park where I can take your dog to run around.

About: I always had animals growing up and loved taking care of them. I came to UVA and got a job as a veterinary assistant at a local emergency hospital to be a part of the animal care community and have learned a lot about not only treatment but also things to look out for in animal behavior and symptoms. I love all the animals I get to take care of at the clinic and will love yours just as much! I am a Masters Student now at UVA so I have breaks in my day to do errands and play with or walk your pets! My schedule varies depending on project priorities, but I will be there for your pet if I can! I am always very respectful to the place and home the pets I care for live in. I clean up after any accidents and always leave the place just as I found it! I like to have introductions with pet parents first just so I know where everything is that I might need, and the special ways each pet is cared for. I treat every pet with the love, kindness, and care that I would my own and that includes their space too!

About: My partner and I both work fully remote so we’re home all day with a ton of flexibility for long walks and activities. He’s had golden retrievers in the family since childhood and I’ve rescued several dogs from the Dominican Republic. Currently, we don’t have any pets in our home as they’re all with other family members. With that said, we miss the pup cuddles and would love to give your pet the love and attention they deserve while you’re away. We’re extremely flexible with our work schedules and enjoy getting distracted by furry friends :) Between the two of us, we’ll take turns going on walks/to the dog park if the weather is decent. Attention to the pet is beneficial to all parties. We are practically step-parents to many friends/families animals so have become familiar with how much love and care they need. About: My family and I live on a "hobby" farm in the Stony Point area. I have grown up owning and caring for a variety of animals. We have been pet sitting for friends and family for the past fifteen years and have decided to open it up to new clients. Prior to that, I also have two decades of pet sitting experience. My experience includes; caring for animals with acute illness, injuries, wound care, and also caring for senior animals. We are happy to take in smaller animals like rabbits and guinea pigs - but not reptiles or birds. I work part-time just a few miles from my home. I am off during the summer months and over the holiday's - convenient for the traveling months. We have a large fenced in backyard. A first aid kit on hand specifically for animals. Your furry family members will have access to our home. (We do have crates available if that is your preference.) We do allow animals on the couch and bed - if that is what will make them happy during their stay. We have three sweet dogs that are used to the added friends that pass through from time to time.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for most of my life and truly love working with them. Since the age of 10, I’ve looked after dozens of dogs, volunteered at multiple shelters, and trained two puppies. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes from tiny 8 pound pups to large 100 pound dogs. I would be honored to watch your dog and can promise they’ll receive plenty of attention, care, and love while in my hands. I already have a dog to walk on a daily basis and I am home for most of every day. I will have the free time to take care of your dog to the best of my ability. I have a dog crate, homemade dog house, and an organized 3 story house the dog can stay in and roam around. There is a small front yard and a large area outback for space to walk.
