This was my first experience with a house sitter and found my dogs to be much more relaxed at the end of the stay compared to when they board at a facility. One of my dogs is very high energy, and the other is more reserved. Dawn Star handled their particular dynamics without issues. She also paid attention to my care/ instruction sheet and followed it to a T. I’m very happy with this experience and would hire Dawn Star again.”

“Sarah was absolutely amazing. She took such great care of our two basset hounds while we were away, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She sent tons of photos every single day, which made us feel so connected and reassured the whole time we were gone. Even though it rained the entire week, she still made sure they got plenty of walks and exercise. There was even a tornado warning during the week, and she made sure the dogs were safe and cared for through it all. Our boys can be super stubborn, but she handled them with such confidence and care that they actually listened and followed her lead. That’s not easy with bassets. She gave them so much attention and love, and it was clear how much effort she put into making sure they were happy and comfortable. Our dogs love being outside, and she made sure they had plenty of time to enjoy the fresh air during the day, even with the unpredictable weather. She was also incredibly attentive to our home and took great care of our flowers and plants on the patio. She paid so much attention to detail in every aspect of her stay. We came home to two relaxed, happy dogs and a house that looked great. Sarah went above and beyond in every single way and we are so grateful. She exceeded all of our expectations and sets the standard for what a polite, respectful, professional, and compassionate pet sitter should be. Truly one of the best sitters we’ve ever had.”

“Brielle was so great with Mellie. This was my first time leaving my dog since I got her 6 months ago and I couldn’t imagine a better person for her to be with. Brielle is very sweet and kind. One of my pups ended up getting sick on the last day from an autoimmune condition and they were super attentive and caught onto the symptoms immediately. They even offered to stay later than planned to keep an eye on him until we got home. 10/10 recommend and will book again!”
