“As usual, Savannah was awesome. She sent both a picture and video during the afternoon, not to mention that our dog thinks Savannah is the best. We never worry about our pet when Savannah is there.”

“This was our second time having Brooke watch our pets and she was so amazing! It’s great to know that our pets are in such good hands. She’s responsive and always lets me know what is going on during our stay. We love Brooke!!”

“Reyna was wonderful to work with-great at communicating, kept us updated with pictures during her stay, and took great care of our house and dog. We’ve already booked her again for another trip ☺️”

“This was our first time using Rover and Brittany was amazing! She sent us multiple photos/updates of how our dog was doing throughout her stay. We will definitely be using her again. 10/10!”

“Dawsen is amazing!! She made my extremely nervous dog so comfortable and had her all the way out of her shell within a day of her sitting. She sent lots of pictures so I never had to worry about my babies. Came home to happy comfortable pets. I will be asking her to sit again for us for sure”

“Katie is reliable and professional . Provides consistent updates and goes above and beyond to make your time away as worry free as possible. Katie took great care of our dogs and home.”

“Absolutely wonderful! Elissa was so sweet with our babies and was amazing with updates. We were able to enjoy our little vacation with no worries at all! Will definitely book again!”

“Cassie made sure I received photos of my pup, which eased my anxiety of leaving him. She left the house clean and organized and made sure we did not need anything else before she left. I would definitely use her for pet sitting again in the future !”

“My husband and I booked Chelsea to stay at our house with our dog George while we were on vacation this week, and I can’t stress enough what an amazing job she did! She gave us consistent updates on how George was doing, and she was so quick to respond to us throughout the whole process of booking her and during her stay at our house! She put us so at ease, and she truly is great with dogs because George doesn’t like everyone, but he loved Chelsea! She truly cared about taking good care of him and we will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Becky was amazing! This was my first time ever to use a dog sitter. Usually we just leave the pups with family or friends but this trip we needed someone. I was nervous leaving my shepherd and pit bull alone with someone for a week. I literally could not have asked for a better sitter. She kept me updated and informed and I could tell the dogs were comfortable. We met twice prior to my vacation and the dogs got very comfortable with her. I used her because she had the most reviews and return clients. Now I know why! Definitely will use her again. Oh, and she also made sure a light was on for me when I got home and made the bed with clean sheets (I arrived home at midnight)!”

“Did a wonderful job!! Took such great care of the pets, and seemed to genuinely enjoy spending time with them. Rae also sent a ton of pictures, and made sure we were updated all throughout our trip.”

About: I absolutely love animals, and I have years of experience caring for all kinds. From hermit crabs to dogs to ferrets, I watch them all! I’m willing to care for any disabled animals as well- they need love too. I’m willing to take on any challenges so that you can have peace of mind. I am free most afternoons and evenings for hours at a time, so I would be more than willing to care for the pets during those times. Depending on the owner’s home and routine for the animals, that’s how I will tend the animals. I don’t want to disrupt any kind of routine they may have and cause stress.
About: I have experience with pet care since I was 7 years old. Dogs, frogs, cats, snakes, fish, horses, and more! Animals of all sizes and attitudes are not an issue for me! I work based on at-home commissions as an artist. That means I'll be able to take care of your pet(s) on your schedule! (Exceptions may occur). I have two dogs and two cats that I take care of at my home. They are well fed, exceptionally well loved, and never put in cages. Each animal under my care varies in age and diet, and I make sure to go above and beyond in insuring their health and safety.
About: Ever since I was a child, one of my primary responsibilities in my house was to take care of the animals. Going on walks with them, feeding them, taking care of their bathroom, breaks and such matters. I have no aversion to cleaning up messes and also have a high priority for taking care of them. Have worked in vet clinics, pet sit, and more. I am currently working from home in either the mornings or evenings so should be quite flexible if times requested don’t work can adjust to check up on animals. One of my highest priorities is giving my animals that I take care of health and happiness, whether that be monitoring weight giving medication’s playing with them grooming, taking care of nails I want animals to be happy. That is one of the beings of my self
About: I have taken care of my Chihuahua-Yorkie mix dog named Chica since I was around 9-10 years old. My parents wanted to get rid of her but I wanted to keep her, which they allowed me to do as long as I took care of her. I have fed, helped potty-trained, bathed, and played with her since then. When I was 17 I got my first dog-sitting job while a family I knew was on vacation for a week. Since then I have taken care of a few different family’s animals while they were gone according to the instructions left for me. I make sure to feed them as early/late as they needed, let them use the bathroom, I slept at their house, and spent enough time with them so that the animal(s) would be happy. I have dog-sat for both small and large dogs. I am currently a full-time student at SNU, but I am able to visit to feed/take care of the animal before my 9 a.m. classes everyday and I will be able to check on them on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays after 12 p.m. (after my classes are over and I have eaten. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I can go check on them after 1:30-2 (again, after my classes are over and I have eaten). I am an intern at Lake Overholser first church of the Nazarene, so I am busy on Wednesdays from 4:30-8ish and Sundays from 9-12ish. I am able to check on the animal(s) before and after, though! I have no pets because I live in a dorm, but I have dog-sat for dogs that need to be crated or not crated, and they have all had a fenced in yard. I have sat outside and waited for the dog to use the bathroom and also just let them use the bathroom outside when needed. I once even dog-sat for a small dog that I gave a bone every night that cleaned their teeth and said “Go brush your teeth!” in order for her to go to her crate and go to bed. I can follow any schedule.
The median cost per night for house sitting in Woodlawn Park is $40
Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Woodlawn Park
Brittany is the best! She took the best care of our babies, sent updates and was so communicative. We are pretty specific with our animals routine, and Brittany had no problem adapting to it. Not to mention, she left the house like she’d never been here! We will definitely use Brittany’s service again and HIGHLY recommend her!!

Aiden was the consummate professional! He sent some many fun pictures of our fur babies, clearly enjoyed playing with them, and was kind enough to even water my plants in this insane Oklahoma heat. House was left impeccably clean. Loved how communicative Aiden was. Will definitely be asking for Aiden’s help again.

My husband and I booked Chelsea to stay at our house with our dog George while we were on vacation this week, and I can’t stress enough what an amazing job she did! She gave us consistent updates on how George was doing, and she was so quick to respond to us throughout the whole process of booking her and during her stay at our house! She put us so at ease, and she truly is great with dogs because George doesn’t like everyone, but he loved Chelsea! She truly cared about taking good care of him and we will definitely use her again in the future!

Sarah is amazing and George absolutely adores her. I always have complete confidence in her care of George. Her communication skills are excellent and she always leaves the house spotless. My only hesitation in leaving such a glowing review is that I don’t want her to be so busy she won’t be available whenever George and I need her!

We could not have been happier with Kate while we were out of town for 10 days over the holidays. Kate stayed overnights as well as taking care of our pets during the day. Our pets were well cared for, enjoyed their time with Kate and we did not have any issues. Kate kept us informed how things were going each and every day, and sent photos to us as well. We also have two cats, and while.pretty much self-sufficient, have to have their needs met as well (feeding, watering, and cleaning and emptying litter box. Kate met with us twice before, for the initial interview and the day before we left. We did not expect Kate to stay 24/7, yet she was mindful of her obligations and was here the majority of the time to care for the pets. We would not hesitate to use Kate again, and can assure you that you will not be disappointed if you use her for your pet/house sitting needs as well. She is mature, competent, and reliable in every way.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Woodlawn Park walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Woodlawn Park maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Woodlawn Park choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
