“Frankie has been dropping in daily on my fur baby Samson. She is great and goes the extra mile to bring in packages and make sure Samson is well taken care of during her visit!”

“Kimberlyn was amazing as a sitter. Gave me piece of mind while I was working to check on my pup and give her a bathroom break and playtime. Always on time and left great photos! 10/10 would use again!”

“Mickey was great to work with and did a great job with our dog. He was reliable, friendly and gave me a good recap of each visit. We enjoyed working with him and would definitely use his services again.”

“Lydia did a fantastic job taking care of my babies! She was super prompt and professional, and went above and beyond to remove the little green sticky things they get in their fur when playing outside. The daily check-ins & photos gave me peace of mind as well. The house was clean and water bowls fresh when we got back. I will definitely be calling on Lydia the next time I need pet care, and highly recommend her to anyone else looking for their pets to be loved on and well taken care of while away! Thank You, Lydia!”

“Joanna is an excellent dog sitter. She responds quickly, professionally, and has been very flexible and patient with us. Our work hours vary every week, and she is always willing to work with our schedules. We are so grateful to her. She takes great care of our little baby Margot”

“Kristi & Robert were great! They came by before our appointment to meet me and the cats, and get a rundown of the instructions. They communicated well, sent great updates and photos. One of our cats requires a nose spray, and this was not a problem for them! They learned our cats' behaviors on the first visit and modified their care on the second visit to allow our cats to be more comfortable and interact more. We would definitely use them again 😊”

About: I have been caring for animals all of my life. I have had cats, dogs, and reptiles. I have raised puppies and kittens and also cared for senior animals. I am patient and have plenty of energy to play with and help your fur babies get their zoomies out. I always ensure that a client's preferences are respected and that all doors are shut immediately as I come and go, and are locked before I leave. I am an open communicator and am always happy to discuss your pet's needs. I am currently working part time, so I will have plenty of time to help care for your fur babies during the week. I am available from 10 am to 5pm. I have a two year old Golden Retriever and a fenced in back yard. We have a large crate if you would like your dog to be crated. We also have a large dog bed that our Golden hardly ever uses. Our Golden is a fixed female and is very friendly and generous with her toys.

About: Hi! I’m Madison, a preschool teacher who loves animals just as much as I love working with kids. I have my own dog, Winston, and I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, giving lots of attention, and following your pet’s normal routine. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, so I’ll treat them like they’re part of my own family. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or extra playtime, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I work as a preschool teacher Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. I’m available for drop-in visits and dog walks in the afternoons, evenings, weekends, and during many school holidays and breaks. I’ll communicate clearly, arrive on time, and make sure your pet gets the care and attention they deserve. I understand that every pet has their own routine, and I will follow your instructions carefully to help them feel comfortable while you’re away. I’ll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I’ll also send updates and photos after each visit so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is safe and well cared for.

“I cannot say enough about Jennifer! She was so patient and kind with my babies! My dachshund pretty much hates everyone but it appears that she allowed Jennifer to actually touch her 😍 What a lovely experience!”

About: I’ve loved animals and taking care of them ever since I was a kid. Our house has never not had a dog and/or cats, so I’m very experienced when it comes to cat and dog care! I love and enjoy taking care of them, and also love taking care of other kinds of animals too, as I’ve also had parakeets, hamsters, and fish! I’m currently doing freelance work with AI so I’m open for any time and day! Just let me know your needs and I can handle them. I have three cats and a dog in my house. I care for my brother’s two cats when he’s away (food, litter box, nail clippings as needed) and even sometimes while he’s here. I help with my sister’s dog and her cat similarly. I used to take care of my mom’s older cat until she passed away recently.
“Brianna responded to our very short notice request for a home visit without hesitation. Due to an emergency, we needed immediate care for a two hour period. Brianna didn’t miss a beat as she arrived ready to watch / walk Storm and minimize disruption in his daily routine. Much appreciation for Brianna’s continued support and care for our newly one year old puppy!”

“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!! My dogs LOVE them. I am so happy with the treatment my "fur babies" received. Highly recommend!!! Will use them again. I had such peace of mind and was able to enjoy my vacation, knowing how well they were taken care of.”
“Amazing puppysitter. Lea took great care of our babies, making sure to play with them every single visit! This was amazing for our high energy girl pup who has bad separation anxiety. Our dogs warmed up to her quickly & really loved playing with her. Thanks again Lea. 🩷”

About: I have had a dog since I was five growing up. I was responsible for helping take care of her on a regular basis. I also was always helping with other animals in the neighborhood.. as an adult, I’ve had two dogs and a cat, one of which is still currently with me. I typically do the majority of the care for my current dog, which includes feeding her, letting her out walking her and giving her medicine. I currently work full-time, but I work from home so I have a lot of flexibility. I can let animals out in the morning at lunch during the day and evenings. I am in an empty nest who’s used to being very busy so just looking for something to fill my time I am happy to take dogs on walks. Let them out play with them. Feed them give them medication, which are all things I currently do with my current dog.
“Ashley was great in keeping in touch with me when she came to check on my cat while I was away. She even snapped some cute photos of play time with her! Will definitely book with her again.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodlawn Beach. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
