About: I make a special, detailed effort to pay close attention to your pet's emotional and physical needs and wants as well as their body language and vocal cues. I will always follow every parent's instructions. I am inquisitive about personalities and preferences and want to really get to know you and your pets to be able to offer the best care to your fur babies. I have spent many years as a devoted cat mama and I can never pass up a good old butt scratch or belly rub for those precious pups. My adornment and respect for our loyal furry companions runs deep. I vow to always treat your babies as if they were my own. I will always make a full attempt to keep my availability updated and accurate. Just as a disclaimer, if there is a specific day, time, or window of days you're in need of care that shows I'm not available, this may be due to the nature of how the availability scheduling works. Please reach out to me directly if this is the case. I more often than not will be able to work something out. For example, it could be because I have an appointment that day during a specific time window so if your care is not time sensitive I'm sure we can arrange for me to be of service outside that appointment time. I am currently in a career transitional phase of my life wanting to spend my time doing something I love which is spending time and giving love and care to our fur babies. This is my main priority in the career category of life therefore I currently have pretty open availability. My goal is to make this my full time career with hopes of gaining full time families to work with. Unfortunately due to my clan of kitties I can't offer pet care inside my home. My backyard is a good size and is fenced so it can be used for outdoor play and exercise. I am happy to travel to and spend time in your home taking care of your babies whether that be for a drop in feeding and affection session or for a stay while you're out of town. Most pets are more comfortable in their own home or familiar spaces anyway. I will always check with the parent to see if there are any special instructions, allergies, preferences, personality quirks, wants, or needs for your pets. Every animal has it's own personality and likes or dislikes. I am attentive to body language, alerts, and can often decipher what your pet needs. I always want every animal and owner to have confidence that I will treat your babies with love, compassion, and respect as well as your home and your space.

I have my own dog, Winston, and I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, giving lots of attention, and following your pet’s normal routine. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, so I’ll treat them like they’re part of my own family. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or extra playtime, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I work as a preschool teacher Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. I’m available for drop-in visits and dog walks in the afternoons, evenings, weekends, and during many school holidays and breaks. I’ll communicate clearly, arrive on time, and make sure your pet gets the care and attention they deserve. I understand that every pet has their own routine, and I will follow your instructions carefully to help them feel comfortable while you’re away. I’ll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. One of our cats requires a nose spray, and this was not a problem for them! They learned our cats' behaviors on the first visit and modified their care on the second visit to allow our cats to be more comfortable and interact more. We would definitely use them again 😊”

I have experience with dogs, cats, hedgehogs, sugar gliders, parakeets, chinchillas, fish, racoons, opossums and more! I know how hard it is to trust someone else with your furbabies; they're you're world and no one else can love them like you do. I struggle with this, too! After hearing stories from others, and even my own negative experience believing I could trust someone else to care for my babies, I've decided to join Rover and offer my time to other pet parents who need someone to step in when they can't be there. I have a totally open schedule and I'm happy to accommodate your needs, especially if you're a 2nd or 3rd shift person! I'm a night owl with open availability and I'm happy to be there whenever you need! About: John & Stephanie - We are life-long pet owners who enjoy spending time with fur babies! We love to travel and staying in BnB's is part of that adventure for me. Staying in your home while caring for your pets is a wonderful opportunity for us to enjoy some great bonding experiences with dogs and cats while getting away from home. I think of it as staycationing with pets. John - Growing up as the son of a small town veterinarian I gained a lifetime of experience being around animals small and large. I love all animals but bond especially well with older dogs who require extra attention. I am comfortable with all breeds of dogs or cats. Pets have been lifetime companions and we are familiar with special needs of senior pets. We are comfortable giving medication and injections. One of us would care for your home and your baby as if they were our own. For stays 5 days or longer we provide a light house cleaning. We will freshen the baths and kitchen, make sure your floors are fur free, water plants, do a quick refrigerator clean-out, take the trash down and wash & change beds linens. We would look forward to an opportunity for a Meet and Greet at your convenience. I am currently working part-time and my schedule can be worked around your pets needs and routine. I am willing to travel for sitting opportunities that would be 3 days or longer. I would prefer to watch your pets in their own home. It's important for animals to feel comfortable when there family is away. Changes can cause anxiety and can affect your pets' routine. I feel very comfortable sleeping away from home and adjust easily as I love to travel and often stay in B&Bs. I am available to accompany families traveling with pets and children. Costs would vary with travel. I work part time and my schedule is mine to create. I can be away from home as needed to care for your fur baby. I am not interested in boarding or doggie daycare at this time. My fence is no longer secure and I would not want the responsibility.
