About: Across all animals and their ages, I treat every pet like my own - with love, patience, reliability, and genuine care. I pay close attention to details, communicate constantly with owners, and make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and understood while away from their family. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I keep a flexible schedule and plan my day around the pets. I'm available mornings, afternoons, and evenings for walks, feedings, and check-ins. In my home or client's home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any specific instructions carefully so pets feel secure and loved.
“Kelcie is amazing! She is so sweet and cared for my Cleo like her own. She met with me and asked lots of questions about my pet to make sure she knew what was best and how I like things done, and she sent lots of pictures to keep me updated while I was away! Will definitely rebook in the future and recommend to friends!!! Thank you Kelcie!”

“Pooja was great with my cat! I booked a few last minute check ins over Christmas and she was quick to accommodate. Always responded quickly, gave great updates, and was very sweet to my boy.”

“Brianna responded to our very short notice request for a home visit without hesitation. Due to an emergency, we needed immediate care for a two hour period. Brianna didn’t miss a beat as she arrived ready to watch / walk Storm and minimize disruption in his daily routine. Much appreciation for Brianna’s continued support and care for our newly one year old puppy!”

About: I've always had a huge soft spot for animals, and while I can't commit to having my own dog right now (which would be a German shepherd), I'm always looking for my 'pet fix'! I've looked after all kinds of pets, big and small, and I especially connect with dogs since I'm pretty active myself. When I'm not at my full-time job, you'll find me out running or soaking up the sun at the beach. My ideal day pet sitting involves morning coffee runs with a mandatory pup cup, (if allowed!) beach trips, runs, sunset walks, and car rides with the windows down. I basically include dogs in every second of my life possible! I am always sure to take many pictures and videos for you while watching your baby! I usually make a shared album so I don’t spam! (I do have a cat who doesn’t mind other animals, I however always keep her separate to avoid any possible problems.) I live with family who is home majority of the time and able to help while I’m working if need be!) I’m happy to do pickup/drop off for an addition charge for your convenience! I work full time Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm. The best thing for me with a pet needing my full attention would be anything Friday afternoon until Sunday but I can work with what I’m able if needed other days! If your pet is okay being created for four hours at a time, I can come home and let them out at lunch if weekdays are a must for you! As a pet sitter I believe it is my responsibility to take care of any pet related messes / duties in mine or your home!
About: Hello, I am Jennie, a 43-year-old mother and wife with considerable free time. With extensive experience in caring for dogs and cats throughout my life, I possess a strong foundation in animal care. Growing up in Alabama afforded me ample opportunities to care for a multitude of animals. My expertise extends to caring for pets of all ages, from young to elderly. Recently, I cared for my Labrador for 20 years, managing her kidney issues and frequent potty breaks during her last 5 years. She also developed arthritis in her joints, making once easy maneuvers a trial without my assistance. Currently, I care for a miniature schnauzer and a black Bombay cat. I have experience with dogs ranging from Great Dane to miniature schnauzer sizes. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I would love to make your baby feel loved and comfortable in your absence. With my children in their teens, I've gained some spare time. I limit my service area to guarantee swift responses to clients facing emergencies and needing immediate assistance. I recognize the value of a regular routine for pets and the potential disruption caused by deviations from it. I ensure your pet's daily feeding and transition schedule is closely monitored. As someone who enjoys spending time outdoors, I am more than willing to take your pet on a walk or short hike if they enjoy the outdoors. My Jeep is available for transporting pets of all sizes, including larger breeds.
“Poet was absolutely amazing with Bernoulli and Sunni. You can tell she genuinely cares about animals and treated them like her own. She kept us updated, made us feel completely at ease, and our pups came home happy and well cared for. We’re so grateful for her and would trust her again in a heartbeat 🤍”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and check in on their pets while they’re away. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are gone. I will treat your pets like they’re part of my own family and provide dependable, attentive care. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I prioritize being dependable and consistent for every pet I care for. I’m available for drop-in visits as well as on home care. I am part time right now and will work to maintain your pet’s normal schedule, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. As a nursing student, I’m responsible, detail-oriented, and attentive to routines and safety, which I bring into every pet care visit. I will carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and routines to make sure your pet feels secure and stress-free. I understand that every pet has a different personality, so I’ll provide patient, attentive care while respecting their individual needs. I’ll also keep your home tidy, secure, and provide regular updates throughout my visits.
About: I’ve cared for pets of all sizes, from a gentle Great Dane to a tiny Yorkshire Terrier and I’m just as comfortable with large, energetic dogs as I am with many cats. Having grown up surrounded by pets, I understand the unique needs and personalities each animal brings. I don’t just watch pets, I make sure they feel safe and cared for like they’re my own. I’ve dog-sat and cat-sat for many of my mom’s friends or mine. Hey! I currently work as a substitute teacher so if I’m pet sitting I don’t have to work shifts if the pets are more high-maintenance. I will treat them as my own pets. I’m fine with specific needs like giving medication, taking on walks, or specific feeding times. Anything you need me to do I will just let me know!
“Tiffany gave us such peace of mind by watching our cat during our wedding weekend!! I knew he was in great hands. She sent lots of photos and detailed updates which we loved. I highly recommend her!”

About: Lifelong love for animals combined with hands on veterinary experience. I’ve loved animals since I was little, grew up wanting to become a veterinarian, and have owned pets my entire life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I also worked for 3 years as a Veterinary Assistant, where I gained experience safely handling pets, recognizing changes in behavior, and helping animals feel comfortable in stressful situations. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I’ll care for yours with patience, attention, and lots of love. Just like I would my own. Currently own a Orange Tabby Cat named Sammy who is the love of my life :) I’m currently a stay at home cat mom. This allows me to have open availability and flexible scheduling, so I can dedicate plenty of time to playing with, caring for, and giving attention to your pets throughout the day. When caring for pets, my top priorities are safety, trust, and making sure your pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment. I understand how important it is to trust someone with both your pet and your home, and I take that responsibility seriously. I will always follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medication instructions, and any specific care preferences to help keep things consistent and stress free for them.

I’ve owned several dogs and have had plenty of experience and time caring and loving for pets! Currently a vet tech so dogs are my daily life. As well as I have my own dog. I’m currently working on my schedule so sitting or walking your pup is easy for me! I am available all week Monday through Friday as well as Sunday and even some Saturdays depending on my schedule. Caring for your pup is the most important part of my job. Making sure they are healthy and safe is #1. About: John & Stephanie - We are life-long pet owners who enjoy spending time with fur babies! We love to travel and staying in BnB's is part of that adventure for me. Staying in your home while caring for your pets is a wonderful opportunity for us to enjoy some great bonding experiences with dogs and cats while getting away from home. I think of it as staycationing with pets. John - Growing up as the son of a small town veterinarian I gained a lifetime of experience being around animals small and large. I love all animals but bond especially well with older dogs who require extra attention. I am comfortable with all breeds of dogs or cats. Pets have been lifetime companions and we are familiar with special needs of senior pets. We are comfortable giving medication and injections. One of us would care for your home and your baby as if they were our own. For stays 5 days or longer we provide a light house cleaning. We will freshen the baths and kitchen, make sure your floors are fur free, water plants, do a quick refrigerator clean-out, take the trash down and wash & change beds linens. We would look forward to an opportunity for a Meet and Greet at your convenience. I am currently working part-time and my schedule can be worked around your pets needs and routine. I am willing to travel for sitting opportunities that would be 3 days or longer. I would prefer to watch your pets in their own home. It's important for animals to feel comfortable when there family is away. Changes can cause anxiety and can affect your pets' routine. I feel very comfortable sleeping away from home and adjust easily as I love to travel and often stay in B&Bs. I am available to accompany families traveling with pets and children. Costs would vary with travel. I work part time and my schedule is mine to create. I can be away from home as needed to care for your fur baby. I am not interested in boarding or doggie daycare at this time. My fence is no longer secure and I would not want the responsibility.
About: I have grown up with dogs and different pets my whole life. I will walk, play and feed your pets. But most importantly I'll show love to your pet. During walks, I can keep a pace and pick up after them. I have personally had dogs my whole life and they have been all sizes from a Yorkie mix to a Great Dane and in between. I have pet sit for very many people including cats and dogs. The safety of your pet is very important to me and I will do my best to take care of it because I understand that they are more than pets but they are family. I currently work with marine animal care so providing a safe environment for your pet is my top priority. I have a lot of availability throughout the week and weekends. The safety of me and your pet comes first. Throughout high school and college I have had twelve reoccurring clients for house sitting, dog and cat sitting.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Oriole Beach
Callie is absolutely amazing! She took such good care of our cats, our plants, and even our cute old salamander. She went above and beyond and sent plenty of photos and confirmed anything she wasn’t sure of. Her communication was excellent and her genuine care for the cats was incredible. My cat Gaston absolutely adored her and it looks like the others loved her as well. I would highly recommend her to anyone. We trust her and look forward to our next trip because we know that our home and kitties are in good hands.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
