“Once again, Lindy and Seth provided the best care for our cat while we were on vacation. The rover reports, pictures, and additional messages are so comforting while we are away. My cat loves Lindy so much, which is a godsend since she can be pretty finicky. She gives her lots of pets and brushes too. We are so grateful for them!”

“Heidi watched my two cats when I had to be out of town on short notice for a funeral. She was amazing. One of cats needs a daily medication, and she jumped right in and made me feel super comfortable about it. I think what I also really appreciated was that she gave me honest updates. For example, the first night Binx was kind of a goob about letting her get into his ear, but then he got better after she was around a bit. I think I prefer that as opposed to "everything is great!" I was also mortified when I didn't get my hungryroot box canceled, and she graciously put everything in the fridge for me. I felt so comfortable with them under her care, I could even relax on the day of the funeral and not be constantly checking my phone for a rover card! When I got home, my cats were chill and well cared for. I will definitely use her again.”

“Katja was excellent! She gave very detailed updates, included lots of pictures, and took great care of my cat! I could tell that she really cared about my cat and gave her some attention too while I was away!”

“I have a shy kitty who really warmed up to Taylor. I get pictures regularly and could tell that with each visit, Luna was feeling more and more comfortable with her. Taylor will definitely be my first choice for my kitty on future vacations.”

“As always, I am so happy knowing my two cats are in Heather’s care. She is always responsive to my correspondence and it is fun to see my cats engaging with her on the photos she sends me through Rover!”

“Eleanor was amazing with my cat, Kitty! I boarded her for 6 nights...and Kitty was not the easiest. Everything from her automatic feeder breaking and Eleanor having to feed her 4 times a day, to hissing and temperamental cat things and Eleanor handling it great. I am a very protective cat mom and felt confident that Kitty was safe and taken care of the entire time she was there. When I went to pick her up, she was calm and adjusted right back to home life without being stressed at all - a sign that her stay was great. Thanks Eleanor!”

“Alicia did an excellent job taking care of my cat, Cloudy. She provided thorough and detailed updates every time she visited, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. When I returned, Cloudy was happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and attentive sitter!”

“Kate is fabulous! I was a 1st timer and she helped me navigate Rover. She's so caring, patient and calming. My anxious cat warmed up to her right away. Fun, reliable, and a cat-whisperer, she's GREAT!”

“Stephanie is amazing. She was with our two cats for the week, and sent a bunch of photos and videos with updates. They loved having her there and she is so good with them! A very good house guest!”

“Courtney was a wonderful caregiver for Buddy while we were out of town for a long weekend. Buddy had clearly been well looked after. Calm, mellow and happy when we returned! We look forward to having Courtney look after Buddy again.”

“Patricia has been great with both my cats. One needs insulin injections she handles those easily. The other one is very shy and even when Lucy is hiding under the bed she makes sure she gets some love.”

About: I've had a lot of experience watching dogs and cats for many family members and friends. I also have experience working at an animal shelter for many months. I'm confident in my abilities to handle any kind of temperament and create a comfortable environment for every pet! When I have done drop-in visits for pet sitting, I like to do up to three visits each day. Morning, early afternoon, and evening are the times I typically try to check in. With each visit, I follow their food schedule, take dogs for potty breaks (and/or check cat litter boxes), spend a good amount of time playing with each pet, and cleaning up before leaving. At a client's home, if there isn't a yard for their dog(s) and they need time outside, I typically map out a trail for walking/potty breaks. Before taking any action, I like to ask the owner's preference on their pets' comfortability in where they walk or spend their time.

About: With a background in biology, you must know that I am a lover of ALL animals and life! There hasn't been a moment in my life when a pet wasn't in the house. I've lived with dogs, cats, tropical fish, hedgehogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, and birds! When it comes to my friends and family, I'm often the first choice for caring for their pets, as they know I'll provide the same level of love and care that they do for their companions. I have the most experience with cats and dogs, including all ages, from kittens and puppies to elderly cats and dogs. Given that I'm a teacher and it's summer time, I can be available at any time that's most convenient or necessary for you! Need me to walk the dog during a long workday? Or perhaps you need someone to check in on the cat while you're out of town for the weekend? I'm here for you! I am quick to pick up on what your pet needs. If your pet is more on the timid side, I understand to be gentle and patient with them, but if they're higher energy, I'm more than willing to play with them or take them on a long walk until they're worn out!

About: My wife and I have had paws in our house almost from day 1. Over the years we have had 6 dogs and 7 cats, all of which came on board as puppies or kittens, and they all lived long and happy lives. Currently we have 1 dog and 2 cats. I am now retired, so I have maximum flexibility to schedule sitting/walking times. The biggest competitors for my time are the grandkids, and the lawnmower in the summer and snow shovel in the winter. Our cats are indoor cats with access to a screen porch to satisfy their outdoor desires. We have used the Invisible Fence for our previous larger dogs. The client would set the requirements for care at the pet's home. I also have walking shoes and a leash for doggie exercise. I have not signed up to care for client's animals at our house.

About: I have been dog and cat sitting for over 10yrs. I usually stay at the owners house. Experienced with dogs with medical issues, and high anxiety. I have given medications and have done some training. I have done just overnight stays, but have also done 3month long stays. I am also a Hairstylist and Skin care specialist. I rent a chair at a salon and make my own schedule, so my hours are flexable. I enjoy spending time with pets, but just don't live in a place were I can have one. I am not married and have no children, so I am completely available and focused on your pet. I usually like to meet you and your pet/pets about 1week before the scheduled appointment, so I can get to know you, your pet and your pets routine, feeding times, walking, medications if needed, etc. This also helps the dog recognize me when I show up, when you aren't there.

“Sarah helped us for a few weeks and she was extremely professional, on time, courteous and friendly. Our dog is old and didn’t require playing (she wouldn’t even if you tried) but Sarah was definitely willing. I’d use her again without question.”

About: Retired engineer and animal lover. High level of empathy and compassion for others. I look forward to taking great care of your animals. Thank you. I am a retired mechanical engineer and I have plenty of free time. I am able to assist for short and long periods of time. I will follow any and all rule you have with your animals. I do not have a fenced yard but would take multiple walks per day.

About: I’ve been a pet owner my entire adult life. I grew up with dogs and raised three of my own. I was a foster parent for Secondhand Hounds before adopting two of my own rescues. I’ve also raised animal lovers and my daughter is currently attending Cornell to become a veterinarian. I’m an awesome photographer and you’ll likely come away from the experience with some great photos of your furry family member. I currently work full-time, until June, when I am retiring from owning a daycare. Until then, I’m available evenings and weekend. Starting in the summer, I will be wide open for extensive pet sitting. I have a fenced in yard for my dogs, but am familiar with invisible fence dog security and love long dog walks around the neighborhood.

Brenna M.
“Brenna is an incredible pet caregiver!! My husband and I hired her to watch our two cats and dog for three days and I’ve never seen our pets happier upon coming home from an extended work trip. Brenna is attentive, caring, loving, and sent frequent updates of all our furry animals - they thrived in her care. (She even clipped our cat’s nails when she noticed our cat mocha kept getting stuck on the carpet!) If you’re thinking about hiring Brenna, DO IT! She’s good with all kinds of animals - dogs, cats, senior animals, baby animals, and even animals that require special treatment and medication. We will be using her Rover services again in the future, and we know our pets will love having her back, too!”

Dave M.
“I have known Dave for over 50 years and he has always shared his life and love with critters! They are who he greets first when on a walk in the neighborhood or on the beach! Even the shy and less approachable ones seek him out!! He has always shared his home with cats and dogs and a few hamsters and Guinea pigs, but he also has been known to train chipmunks to eat peanuts from his hand and calmly hold exotic snakes!! They say animals know who they can trust; they know that Dave is that kind!”

Deborah P.
“Deb is our go-to for our anxious pup! We have a dog who is reactive and anxious with new people, but has always been really comfortable with Deb. Deb has dog-sat for us many, many times, staying at our place and we always come home knowing our pup was well cared for - walked, cuddled, and loved. You’re getting a reliable and caring sitter with Deb - wholeheartedly recommend her!”
