âBecky did an absolutely amazing job of caring my for cat! She was prompt and responsible, communicated well, and won my shy girl over almost immediately. I received detailed texts and pictures with every visit, and when I had questions, she responded incredibly quickly. You will not find a more reliable and conscientious pet sitter in Columbia: she's fantastic. I recommend Becky wholeheartedly!â

About: Iâve been caring for dogs since I was a teenager and have experience with a wide variety of breeds and personalities. Currently, I have a 4-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix and a 4-month-old Jack Russell Terrier. Over the years, Iâve owned and cared for German Shepherds, Beagles, Pit Bulls, Jack Russells, Labradors, and Schnauzers, and at one point had as many as six dogs. Iâve also owned a cat and have experience caring for cats as well. Friends frequently trust me to pet sit for them, and I genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, playful, or needs a little extra patience, Iâll treat them like theyâre my own. I also am a Volunteer Dog walker and caregiver at Columbia Animal Shelter. I have a very flexible schedule and am committed to providing reliable, attentive care while youâre away. Iâm currently in the army and work 2-3 days a week.my husband stays at home full time. I have a very flexible schedule. I care for every pet as if they were my own. In my clientâs home, I follow their petâs normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of attention and affection. I know how important consistency is for pets, especially when their owners are away. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, clean, and supervised environment with regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, fresh water, and lots of love. I pay close attention to each petâs individual needs, personality, and comfort level to help them feel secure and happy.
âCaroline has been great with our puppy! We have used her regularly the past couple of weeks on days my husband and I both work. She has been reliable and consistent, sends us photos and takes time to engage in playtime. She responds quickly to our messages and has been flexible with bookings. We would definitely recommend her!â

About: Iâm a lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of experience caring for pets, especially cats! Iâve volunteered at a nonprofit cat rescue where I helped feed, clean, and medicate cats in need, and Iâve also fostered both adult cats and tiny neonatal kittens (yes bottle feeding and all the adorable chaos that comes with it!). On top of that, I have pet sitting experience for both cats and dogs, so Iâm comfortable stepping into all kinds of home routines and making sure pets feel safe, happy, and cared for while their people are away. Iâve cared for my own two cats for years, so I really understand all the little quirks, routines, and personalities that make each pet unique. Cats definitely have my heart, but I also have experience with dogs and am comfortable with smaller, calmer breeds; and happy to work with larger dogs as long as theyâre well-trained. I bring lots of patience, love, and good energy to every animal I meet, and I treat every pet like theyâre my own. đž I am available seven days a week and strive to be as flexible as possible. During the week, I can typically accommodate 2â3 drop-in visits per day, and on weekends I can provide up to 5 drop-in visits as needed. For extended care, I may be available for overnight stays in your home depending on location and scheduling. Rates for overnight services vary. The best way to find out if I can accommodate your needs is to reach out! I'll always do my best to work with you and provide the highest level of care for your fur babies. When caring for pets in a client's home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. For drop-in visits, I provide feeding, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of attention and affection. For house sitting, I ensure pets receive consistent care, exercise, companionship, and supervision while keeping their environment clean and stress-free. I always treat my clients' homes and pets with the same care and respect I would my own.
âJessica was dependable and took great care of my 3 cats while I was on vacation. There was good communication and I appreciated the photos and updates on how they were doing during the drop-in visits.â

âHad a great check in with Gunner! Kept me updated and followed instructions. Made me feel much better about both of us being at work all day for the first time.â

âMorgan was wonderful! She arrived on time and texted us to let us know her ETA. Our two babies are slow to warm up to new people, but Morgan was great with them. She was very engaged and asked questions that clearly indicated how focused she was on learning about our babies. We were surprised at how quickly our two little ones acclimated to Morgan. I highly recommend her!â

âGail is wonderful with our two dogs! She is dedicated to making sure your dogs are well taken care of. Our dogs are exercised well and happy to have her! She always sends us detailed updates and is very attentive.â

âLauren was great! I really appreciated the pictures she took to update me. I would highly recommend he and would love to have her care for my dogs in the future.â

About: Animal care is very important, Iâve provided pet sitting services for a while now almost 3 years to be exact. Animals should be taken as serious as children, and I will prove it!! Currently I work full time in the morning usually 6am to 12-2 in the afternoon so my services would usually entailed over night or afternoon care. In my own home I provide a fenced in back yard with plenty of room to go potty or just to play outside. Plenty of fresh water, and food.
âKayla was super sweet & professional. Very informative (sent messages, pictures & videos). And great with my fur babies, she was able to make the one who is scared of strangers- very comfortable with her. Will definitely use her again. Thanks so much!â

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Woodfield
We left our cat, Moses, in Aaronâs care for 31 days. When we returned, Moses was well fed and well hydrated. Now that we are back home, I think Moses misses Aaron more than missed us! đ Aaron not only cared for our cat, he provided kindness and love. I could tell from the photos Aaron sent after every visit that Moses was comfortable being around him. Thank you Aaron, we will 100% contact when we leave for our next extended vacation.

Merrell took wonderful care of my cat PB! She sent an update with every check in and it was such peace of mind knowing that she was looking after my beloved kitty. Merrell is responsive and makes sure your pet is safe and healthy. My cat is very shy but Merrell spent time at my house to assure that PB was doing ok.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodfield. On Rover:
- 98% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
