“Super convenient. We came down to Fort Jackson for graduation. There are hotels 4 minutes away and Fort Jackson was 15 minutes and a very easy drive. Isabela was great, Sent multiple pictures of our pup enjoying his stay with her. If you are coming down with your fur baby for graduation, this is your sitter.”

“Janece & Matthew took such great care of our 4 month old puppy! We were so nervous leaving her for the first time, but she was in great hands. Janece and Matthew sent us updates on her every day. Would definitely recommend them for any boarding needs you may need!”

“Our dog loves staying with Evelyn. He gets great exercise and we receive plenty of updates and photos/videos. He definitely feels at home which makes for a worry-free vacation for us. Thank you for taking such good care of our pup.”

“This was our second time having Merrell board our dog. She sent plenty of pictures and took great care of him, and she was flexible with us when our flight home got delayed.”

“Kayla was so sweet and attentive to my 10 yr old shih tzu Taco. He had recently injured his leg and was awaiting a surgical consult. So, she was careful with his activity level. She also gave his seizure medication 3 times a day. He looked happy and well cared for in all the photo updates she sent me.”

“Whitney was an absolute gem to communicate with! My dog is quite shy, but she settled in perfectly with Whitney and her family! She sent a ton of pictures which put me at ease! I fully recommend booking with her!”

“Took great care of my 2 doggies and kitty while we were away for a long weekend trip. All my animals were happy upon arrival. I can always tell if they have had a good time or have had anxiety and they were all in good graces. Great experience and will be using Tabitha again! Thank you!”

“Debbie did such a good job with my new puppy! She sent daily updates and answered any questions I had! When we first went to meet her with my dog, Lucas, she wanted to make sure he wasn’t compatible with her own pets and had an extensive questionnaire to make sure he would fit in with other pets. I was relieved to know that she doesn’t take aggressive dogs or dogs that aren’t up to date on all their shots. I’ve already booked her again and would recommend her to anyone!!”
“Orlena. Was amazing with our two year old mini poodle. She kept plenty of videos and pictures coming. She is such a sweetheart. We already spoke with her in regards to another booking.”

“Daisy is awesome👍 We were very pleased with our fur baby's boarding stay in her care. It was a last minute booking for the Thanksgiving holiday. Daisy was very accommodating and attentive to our fur baby's needs. She provide text & video messages at the beginning and end of the day letting us know his daily activities. We felt comfortable that our fur baby was in good hands. I will highly recommend Daisy and will gladly utilize her boarding service again.”

“Adia was very loving and accommodating for our nervous pup. We also really appreciated her willingness to work with us when plans changed during the trip. Will definitely use her again in the future.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a teenager and have experience with a wide variety of breeds and personalities. Currently, I have a 4-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix and a 4-month-old Jack Russell Terrier. Over the years, I’ve owned and cared for German Shepherds, Beagles, Pit Bulls, Jack Russells, Labradors, and Schnauzers, and at one point had as many as six dogs. I’ve also owned a cat and have experience caring for cats as well. Friends frequently trust me to pet sit for them, and I genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, playful, or needs a little extra patience, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. I also am a Volunteer Dog walker and caregiver at Columbia Animal Shelter. I have a very flexible schedule and am committed to providing reliable, attentive care while you’re away. I’m currently in the army and work 2-3 days a week.my husband stays at home full time. I have a very flexible schedule. I care for every pet as if they were my own. In my client’s home, I follow their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of attention and affection. I know how important consistency is for pets, especially when their owners are away. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, clean, and supervised environment with regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, fresh water, and lots of love. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs, personality, and comfort level to help them feel secure and happy.
“I could tell our two cockapoos were treated like family members and weren’t clingy after I brought them home. I loved that Becky kept us updated and took such wonderful care of the kids.”

“She was wonderful with Spike! It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was being so well cared for while we were away. Her 3-year-old absolutely loved him, which was one of the sweetest parts of the whole experience. Spike was a little shy about eating at first, so she actually hand-fed him his breakfast until he felt comfortable enough to eat. That told me everything I needed to know about how loved and cared for he was while we were gone. Spike came home happy and clearly very comfortable with his stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be reaching out to her again the next time we need someone to keep him. Highly recommend!”

“I needed to board my cat, Simba, and did not want to use my regular pet boarding facility. I usually board him there; however, this time I did not want him in a caged environment. I found Charmaine through Rover, and I am glad I did. I was a little apprehensive at first, but after speaking with her and seeing how attentive she was to Simba’s needs, I felt much more comfortable. Simba is blind and requires extra care, but Charmaine took excellent care of him. She allowed him to roam freely in her home, making him feel comfortable and at ease. Throughout his stay, Charmaine provided regular updates, including pictures and videos, which gave me peace of mind. She not only met Simba’s needs but went above and beyond to ensure he was happy and well cared for. If anyone is looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter, I highly recommend Charmaine. My experience with her was outstanding, and I would not hesitate to use her services again.”

“This is my first time using a private sitter & it went okay. My dog Kobe is adjusting to being home, I’m military & Aiko was very patient with him despite his not so great behavior towards others dogs. She kept me updated with detailed information about his behavior along with pictures for the weekend stay. She gave my dog the attention he needed & let me know what she thought would be best for him moving forward. You should definitely book her if you need a dog sitter.”

“Tony has watched my dog, Saint, twice now, and I couldn’t be happier with the care he’s provided. I’m new to using Rover and I’m extremely thankful that I found Tony. So much so that I refuse to look for any other sitter. He’s been pleasant to work with, trustworthy, and always makes me feel confident that Saint is in great hands. One thing I really appreciate is the updates. Every picture Tony sends, Saint looks genuinely happy, relaxed, and comfortable, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. It’s obvious that Saint enjoys spending time with him. I truly appreciate Tony’s flexibility as I venture out of town pretty often. Whether Saint is there with others or just as the only guest, he’s always well cared for and comes home happy. I highly recommend Tony to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Monica is simply the BEST! She was able to accommodate my dates at the last minute and my fur baby immediately fell in love with her! She asked lots of questions about Bailey's likes and dislikes because she wanted to make sure her experience felt just like home. Monica kept me updated through messages and pictures, which were appreciated. We love Monica and will definitely call on her again!”

“Christina took fabulous care of our little kitty. We were a bit apprehensive leaving her for the first time, but Blakely received personal care and adjusted quickly to her new situation. Christina was good about giving us updates via photos, videos, and messages. We would definitely bring our kitty to Christina again next time we go away. I highly recommend Christina!”

“Sean was a wonderful sitter for our girls! Our two cats were in good hands, and you can tell how much Sean genuinely cares about each pet that Sean watches. Will definitely be booking again!”

“This was my first time booking with Kayla and using the Rover app! Kayla was so helpful and showed so much care towards our cat! She showed up when scheduled and sent thoughtful updates even about our cat’s moods. Our anxious girl warmed up to her very quickly. No doubt we would love to book her again!”

“Tamera was amazing. I made a mistake and booked a week earlier than meant to and she was able to come by the same day. Super quick to reply and helped me with booking stuff because it was my first time using rover. My shy cat seemed to like her as well! Usually she hides from new people but Tamera was special”

“We left our cat, Moses, in Aaron’s care for 31 days. When we returned, Moses was well fed and well hydrated. Now that we are back home, I think Moses misses Aaron more than missed us! 😊 Aaron not only cared for our cat, he provided kindness and love. I could tell from the photos Aaron sent after every visit that Moses was comfortable being around him. Thank you Aaron, we will 100% contact when we leave for our next extended vacation.”

About: All my friends know me for my love of cats. I have two of my own, and have fostered dozens of kittens and cats. My time volunteering and fostering at rescues has given me experience with all types of cats, from spicy to sweet, babies to seniors, and cats who need special care and medication. For Ft. Jackson families, I am a veteran and have base access. I'm a student and have class during the day, but am available mornings and evenings on weekdays to drop-in. On Friday-Sunday I'm available all day! I take care of all cats like my own. I give them food, fresh water, and clean their litter. “Kathryn was amazing and I am so appreciative of her stepping in on a late notice and loving on my boy! I could tell from the pictures he got a lot of attention and play time, couldn’t be more happy and recommend Kathryn to anyone!”

“Riley had such a good time with the other dogs. First time for her to go to doggie daycare. I think I was more nervous than Riley was. Andrea, the sitter, was so kind and patient with her. I will definitely be booking with Andrea again.”

“I have never used Rover before, but Janece and Matthew put my mind at ease! They did a wonderful job taking care of our two Goldens, including a 4-month-old puppy. Their communication and responsiveness was great, and I enjoyed getting pictures and updates throughout the day. We will definitely book with Janece and Matthew again!”

About: Hello. I have extensive experience with a variety of animals. As a child I rescued stray cats, dogs, and different wildlife. I've had cats, dogs, turtles, rabbits, domesticated rats...literally everything. I currently have 4 rescued ducks, 2 rescued turtles, turkeys and 4 baby tortoises (inside). I have a fenced in yard and numerous references. I do have 4 small kids. I work from home. If a pet is skittish around children, I keep them in my room so there is calmness. I also have a completely seperate room that can be used if they prefer even less human contact. ***PLEASE send a collar and leash when boarding a dog I work from home so your pup would have constant attention as they'd be hanging out with me. I do have a fenced in backyard (it has my outdoor animals it in). If the pup isnt good around farm animal, potty breaks can be on a leash in my front yard I have a fenced in backyard. I am okay with a dog that sleeps in a cage overnight...or not. There's definitely flexibility there if the dog isnt destructive. I will ensure the pup is comfortable and entertained.
“From Day 1, Orlena has been a pleasure to book with. My pup is always excited to go to her house. Orlena provides great feedback, and she shares wonderful pictures at the conclusion of each visit.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little, growing up my grandma had a lot of dogs which started my love for them. I have taken care of many stray dogs around my area, i’ve also dog sitted for many local people in my hometown neighborhood. Raquel is a genuine, authentic, dog care provider. Communication ✅. Care Expectations Met ✅. Very Responsive✅. Professional✅. Personable✅. She’s passionate about caring for dogs and it is shown through her attentiveness to the well-being of dogs while under her care. Raquel’s sitter etiquette is superb. To see her love on Monty at drop-off and pick up gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was being left in good hands. To make things even better she shared updates via pics and videos throughout the day on each doggy daycare visit. Hands down, we’ll be re-booking Raquel. #RaquelROCKS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Janea was amazing, this was my first time using Rover let alone a dog walker. I had a knee replacement and needed someone to take care of my spoiled pup. Did a met and greet it went great. First try Chase would init leave the yard. Janea was determined to get the job done. She asked if she could drive him away from the house. She did and it worked. If you are considering or on the fence think again Janea is really down to earth and I can tell she honestly loves what she does. I’m now able to walk my dog, but will continue to have Janea walk chase for a few more weeks. He’s really bonded with hey her over the past few weeks.”

“Bella-Rose is my 18 week old, lovable Cavapoo fur baby. Christina is her first other human exposure besides me and Bella's dad, being that she just got all her vaccines. I unexpectedly had to cover my 24 hour business this month and knew I would need help with Bella. I signed on with Rover and Christina responded within 5 minutes. I was nervous at first but upon meeting Christina, I knew that Bella was in good hands. Chrisrina is on time, professional, and very loving and patient with Bella-Rose. I had no idea that these type services existed, being a new puppy mom, but I am glad I found Rover and Christina. I will definitely be using her in the future and I highly recommend her. She is great!”

“Janece & Matthew took such great care of our 4 month old puppy! We were so nervous leaving her for the first time, but she was in great hands. Janece and Matthew sent us updates on her every day. Would definitely recommend them for any boarding needs you may need!”

“Savannah and Chandler took great care of our dog! They were flexible with drop off and pick up times and easy to communicate with. We got lots of pictures of Kane and he looked happy and comfortable. Would highly recommend!”

“Yua and her family gave my fur baby loving attention during her boarding stay with them. She was taken on multiple walks during each day, an activity that Bella loves to do. When I need boarding services again, I will definitely choose Yua.”

“Kathy took excellent care of our 2 dogs over the holiday weekend! They got lots of playtime and outside time, and they were both nice and tired by the time we picked them up! She sent a couple of pictures and a couple of updates. Just enough to let us know our dogs were doing well. One of my dogs is older with some arthritis, and she made sure he got all of his medicines and had a safe space to rest when he got tired out. Would definitely recommend!”

“Nontombe did an absolutely phenomenal job with our two dogs. This is my first experience using Rover and she represented well. My dogs loved her, and she kept us informed on a daily basis with pics and videos. Thank you so much Nontombe!”

“Yentl is an absolutely great choice if you're looking for someone caring and compassionate to entrust your fur baby too! Sage is in love with Yentl and her family! I received daily updates, pictures, and videos, so I knew she was in great hands! Sage was excited to see Yentl when she was dropped off! That let's me know she is loved when she is there ♥️.”

“Andreas awesome, you can tell she loves animals and my dog came back happy healthy and extremely tired from all the play time with her. I will use her again. Highly recommend!”

“Qais was very easy to communicate with, he provided updates often and took great care of Winston! We will definitely use him again and would recommend him for anyone who has a need!”

“Lexi was amazing, she took such great care of Belle and sent the best pics and videos while we were away. Belle had the best time, she wasn't ready to come home when I got there to pick her up.”

“Assatta was very accommodating. She was very responsive interactive with our Demi! A very loving home and we felt at ease knowing Demi was in good hands. She sent pictures and kept us updated. I will be booking her every time she is available!”
