About: We have lots of experience with dogs, cats and many other types of animals! Large property with room to run, we have several horses and goats on site. Family care in our home (with children). Experience working as a vet tech including first aid, animal grooming, training and behavior, and as an animal chiropractor for ~15 years. We do have a kennel license through the state and as such, we require a copy of your current rabies vaccine and dog license (easy to do and only about $12 online!). Question on this? Just ask! We have several older children who help out with daily care, walks, and feeding. One parent is stay at home and the other parent works flexible hours. We have a large house for dogs to roam and play throughout the day. Sleeping can be in a kennel or snuggled with us in bed--whatevert you prefer. Large outdoor spaces to roam and we love to take walks in the neighborhood.

“Susan was phenomenal. We took an extended vacation and it was the longest we’ve left our pets alone, which made us very nervous. Thank goodness we found Susan because I can’t imagine using anyone else for this trip. Our initial meet went great and she listened and asked questions. The animals loved her immediately. She was so attentive to our pets needs as well as our home. Our house looked just as we left it, which means she cleaned because I know the pet hair gets crazy after even a few days! Her checkins were perfect and she was always ready to send adorable pictures and updates. I’ve have sitters that don’t send enough updates and others that ask a ton of questions (questions I answer on the instructions I leave), but Susan was perfect in her communication and utilized the instructions we provided but asked if it was something I felt I should be informed of. Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We have a clan of senior, special needs, medication needs, and stubborn personalities and she handled them all with such ease and absolute love. While I have never professionally worked with animals before, my family has always had multiple pets in our house. I grew up with dogs, birds, and cats at home. For house sitting, I am mostly available 7 days/nights a week unless I am out of town. For dog walking, I am available Mon/Wed/Fri 7am-1:30pm and Tues/Thurs/Sun 7am-8pm.
