About: We have lots of experience with dogs, cats and many other types of animals! Large property with room to run, we have several horses and goats on site. Family care in our home (with children). Experience working as a vet tech including first aid, animal grooming, training and behavior, and as an animal chiropractor for ~15 years. We do have a kennel license through the state and as such, we require a copy of your current rabies vaccine and dog license (easy to do and only about $12 online!). Question on this? Just ask! We have several older children who help out with daily care, walks, and feeding. One parent is stay at home and the other parent works flexible hours. We have a large house for dogs to roam and play throughout the day. Sleeping can be in a kennel or snuggled with us in bed--whatevert you prefer. Large outdoor spaces to roam and we love to take walks in the neighborhood.

Jake loves to play with other dogs his size and they always have a good time running and playing together. He is indifferent to cats and I would love a fur ball to sit in my lap. I have a lot of experience giving medications to dogs and other pets. I will work with you to give your pet the things they are familiar with at home. Look for lots of photos and videos of your pet having fun while they are with me! I work full time but I am home throughout the day so that they are only alone for a maximum of 2-4 hours. We love to walk and visit the dog park in our spare time I have no commitments outside of work and can provide companionship and playtime with your family member and my Jake. My boyfriend and I both work from home full time and are extending our care to other dogs. Thank goodness we found Susan because I can’t imagine using anyone else for this trip. Our initial meet went great and she listened and asked questions. The animals loved her immediately. She was so attentive to our pets needs as well as our home. Our house looked just as we left it, which means she cleaned because I know the pet hair gets crazy after even a few days! Her checkins were perfect and she was always ready to send adorable pictures and updates. I’ve have sitters that don’t send enough updates and others that ask a ton of questions (questions I answer on the instructions I leave), but Susan was perfect in her communication and utilized the instructions we provided but asked if it was something I felt I should be informed of. Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We have a clan of senior, special needs, medication needs, and stubborn personalities and she handled them all with such ease and absolute love. I could tell the animals received the best care while we were away. We will absolutely be using her again!”
