“Matthew provided excellent service for our dog the two days I needed support. He offered a public meet and greet prior to his initial services and paid close attention to my dogs needs. Matthew was prepared with treats and carried water and a bowl for my dog during the walks. He even went a few minutes past the walk to ensure our dog could keep a slow pace towards the end. I’m very appreciative of Matthew’s last minute support and hope I can book with him again in the future.”

“Esmerilda is an absolutely fantastic person and cares immensely for our dog. She has been our weekly dog walker for a little over 6 months--Our dog is a rescue and was quite difficult in the beginning, but Esmerilda has done a lot to help train and rehabilitate her. She also has done house sitting for us. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone who needs help with their dogs.”

“Nora was really kind and found some time for a last minute request from me. She’s been extremely responsive and responsible. Anika loves her! Will definitely keep her on my go-to list for the futyre”

About: I've cared for animals my whole life, and taken great solace in their company. I've been around a lot of working dogs and a lot of apartment cats, and found things to love about all of them. I've even done some pet photography, which is always a fun challenge. I'm between jobs and have an open schedule. I'm happy to move things around for your convenience. I'm always up by 9 and usually home by midnight. I try to give pets who spend their day alone a little bit of extra attention and care. I think it's enriching for both of us!

About: I have been entrusted with caring for neighbors and friends pets ranging from dogs to birds since I was as young as 12. I have experience taking care of elderly dogs and younger pups. I have also done significant research on training and caring for different breeds in an attempt to convince my own parents to get a dog, although I have yet to succeed. I am a recent graduate from Occidental college and I am super enthusiactic about all pets, be it cats, dogs, fish, frogs, or birds. I have a very flexible schedule with lots of availability, so I am more than happy to come over multiple times a day and go on lots and lots of walks. I look forward to coming to play with your pets! I will happily come to your home to hang out with your pets! Unfortunately, my youngest brother is afraid of dogs, so we cannot house them, but that truly just means that I have even more love to give your pet since I have none of my own.

About: I’ve taken care of pets ranging from dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles! Old or young I’ve done it all! Grooming, medication, no worries for me! During my time in the military I also had training with military K-9’s! So if you have a slightly more aggressive dog that may worry you for scheduling a pet sitter, I’m your guy! M-W-F (Overnight or late Evening) T-Th (Late Evening) Sat-Sun (Anytime) Please do let me at least 1-Day in advance prior to cancellation for adjustments, Thanks! I have a completely closed off section that my little babies have for their own pleasure and comfort, no interactions between them and your pet!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old. I have experience owning and caring for dogs since the third grade. I have experience feeding, grooming, bathing, playing, walking, jogging, running, and basic training (sit, stay, down, leave it, paw, high-five, heel, leash training) with dogs and puppies of all ages. I also have experience training my own service dog when I was in undergrad. I also have a bachelor’s in animal science, and have hands on experience with handling dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, and hamsters. One thing I do care about is providing quality service to ensure that the pet feels at home meanwhile missing their owners. I’m currently looking for a new job so I have a lot of flexibility with my current schedule. I am available to board Fridays through Sundays. I am available to house sit/pet sit weekdays and weekends. Since I’m currently a student taking online classes and not working, I have flexible availability. I am open to make any accommodations in regards to rescheduling or extending a stay for clients that are able to provide me a 24-48 hour notice. I like to communicate with my clients about any specific needs or concerns that I would need to know as a caretaker. Knowing the personality, age, medical needs, tips and tricks, favorite snacks, and as many details about your pet is valuable information for me. I want to ensure that all needs for the client and the pet is met. I value safety and trust, which I find very important to build in a client-based environment.

I know how important it is to make sure your animal is having the best time with their sitter and that they look forward to it! I am an animal communicator and facilitate quantum energy healing sessions for animals as my life purpose. My schedule is flexible. Taking care of my animals is my daily life. About: I have grown up around animals my entire life and I’ve always had a passion for helping them. I used to pet sit for neighbors often when I was younger. I have a particular love for cats, and I would do anything for them! It can be hard to find a person to watch your cat or even exotic pet, but that’s what I’m aiming to help people with! I have almost 6 years of clinical animal care technician and shelter experience so I am well trained with animals with medical issues. I have worked with pets of all kinds and all ages with different needs. I have done everything from bottle feeding to giving senior animals insulin or whatever else they may need. I am Fear Free certified as well. I recently moved to the area and am looking for work. Caring for pets is what I know and love. If I get a more steady job, my availability may lessen. I understand that pets can be confused by new people coming into their home to take care of them, but I am well versed in animal behavior and would never do anything to make your pet uncomfortable. I will take the time to get to know your pet and assist them with whatever they may need. I currently do not live in a situation where I can petsit other people’s pets in my own home unfortunately.

“Michelle was flexible and available to “meet-and-greet” then walk our dogs on pretty short notice. She helped care for our pups on a day when our schedules meant a mid-day walk was needed…THANK YOU!”

About: I recently moved to Davis without my pets (a golden retriever and a cat) so I am looking for way to be around animals to get some snuggles. I have had dogs and cats as pets since I was a child and have seen them through being young all the way to their senior lives. I realize all pets are different and unique and I look forward to learning your pet’s personality and needs! Cheers! I have a flexible schedule right now and can help check on your pets as needed. I am better set up for mornings or evenings. I can help you with whatever your animals needs are. If they need to run off some energy in the yard with fetch I’m your gal. Or maybe your pet needs some snuggles while home alone, I’m also your gal!

About: I have my own senior dog at home that doesn't do well with children or big dogs, so I know how important it is to pay attention when caring for a reactive dog. Currently, I'm a PhD candidate in ecology working with lizards and other wildlife. I got my BS in Animal Science at Cal Poly and completed all of the pre-veterinary requirements, although I ultimately fell in love with the research path instead. I've always been very observant and good at anticipating what my own pets need to be comfortable and happy and I'd love to help your pet feel more relaxed while you're gone. I'm currently a graduate student with a fairly flexible schedule, since I work from home when I'm not teaching to spend time with my own needy dog. I won't be offering boarding, as my own dog isn't the most social with other dogs. I'm happy to visit your home or take your dog on walks around the neighborhood.

So, let me know when you need me and I will make arrangements to take care of your needs. As of right now, I live in an apartment but am trying to move into something bigger.
