“Jamie did a great job dropping in for a visit to take care of our puppy Wally! He was in great hands and we felt very comfortable with her looking after his needs. Great communication. We can’t wait to rebook in the future!”

“Josiah, an exceptional individual, went above and beyond to care for my cat while I was away on a work trip. Before my last check-in, he even messaged me to inquire if there was anything else he could assist with. I kindly requested that he bring in a package that was conveniently located outside my door, and he graciously obliged. Upon my return home, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that he had diligently washed and cleaned the cat food bowls. Josiah is an exceptional pet sitter, and I highly recommend his services. I have already rescheduled him for another work trip!”

“Margaret was great! We did drop in visits and she did every visit within the time frame, it was great to see how well our Shibas were taken care of. She kept them on their schedule, followed the feeding schedule, played with them so they weren't alone. She communicated so well every drop in and sent photos with updates. We were grateful to have her watching over our puppies. Shibas are a challenging breed because they can be stubborn, Margaret did well navigate through their needs. We will definitely book again and again!”

“Susan did a great job. She checked in when she arrived so I knew she was there taking care of my Freya. She reported what Freya did on her walks and took pictures, so I knew Freya was happy and being taken care of. In the meet and greet prior to her coming, she asked detailed questions and wrote down the answers. I would highly recommend Susan to take care of your furbabies.”

About: Dogs are my people! Ever since I was a young child, my family has had dogs, so I have experience caring for pups of all ages, from puppies just old enough to be adopted to senior pups who lived beautiful, long lives. I also have experience with dogs of many sizes, from tiny fur-friends weighing less than 10 pounds to extra large dogs weighing in around 120 pounds. As an introvert, I have always connected easily with dogs in a way I couldn’t with people - I think they sense my kindness, gentle spirit, and calm heart. (But don’t worry, I learned to become a great communicator, and will make sure I understand all of your pup’s rules and needs!) Seeing a happy dog wagging its tail, or even smiling with its tongue escaping its mouth, truly brings me genuine happiness. And they say if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life, right? I currently have a flexible schedule, as I am self-employed and mostly work from home, so I can arrange my work tasks around your pup’s schedule! (Regardless, in my household, the schedules have always revolved around the dogs’ needs and wants. 😂) Your pet’s safety is my top priority! First, I always make sure I clearly understand your rules for your pup and any special needs they may have. I have experience administering nutritional supplements as well as medications in pill form or topical form. I understand how important our pets are to us and our families, so I promise to maintain a safe environment and protect them in the event of any unexpected emergency. Communication is key in any successful relationship, and I expect that we will have a communication plan before any services begin so you can stay informed with any details you wish.

About: I have my own dog for about 9 years which I’ve had to help take care of, I have 3 cats who I also take care of, as well as a hamster and bearded dragon. I currently work part time as a dog grooming assistant but I’m available during the weekdays and any time after 5 on Fridays to take care of any animals when needed! I have a fenced in yard and a beagle of my own. I won’t be bringing the dogs in to my house since I would drive over to the clients house to walk the dogs.

About: Ive taken care of dogs for most of my childhood as well as my adult life so far. I am also an ABC certified dog trainer that has gone through the necessary steps to understand the behaviors that are fundamental to dogs and how to ensure that they have the best chance possible for success. I currently work on Tuesday and Friday mornings and I have other meetings after 2:00 on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday but those days are subject to change in the near future. I walk my dog every morning at 8:30 AM and sometimes in the evening after 9 if I am unable to get the morning walk in. Otherwise I am flexible with my time depending upon the situation. I use my dog’s harness on walks with a 5 foot leash that I keep shortened by wrapping it around my hand. This allows me to extend and retract the leash to the desired length for any given situation. In the case of dog sitting I usually take the dog on a walk for as long as they’ll go and after they get tired, I would sit with the dog until it is either time for them to be fed or go out. I do my best to provide whatever the dog may need or what you require for them.

About: I run my own small business so I am flexible. I have 2 Russian blue cats at the moment, but I have always had black labs in the past. I love animals of all kinds. I run a small business, so I make my own schedule. I would work around any pet sits that I have scheduled and I’m fairly flexible. I would listen to the needs of each client as each pet comes with their own requirements. I do not live in a place that caters to boarding, so I am only offering pet sitting in the client’s home.

About: I grew up with a dog and 2 cats my entire childhood. I now live with my boyfriend, Nick, our German shepherd, Willow, and cat, Stella. I get home from work by 5:30 or 6 pm on weekdays and I am typically home all weekend. Weekends we love taking our German shepherd to many of the local parks or on hikes. Jamesville beach is our favorite! Our dog is home with her dad during the day, and gets crated for the hour that he leaves for work and I come home. She is usually crated for a few hours on the weekend when we go grocery shopping. Our cat is very self sufficient with her water fountain and auto kibble feeder.

“Jess once again took care of my 3 cats with drop-in visits during my 9 day cruise vacation. Every day I received updates via the Rover app along with pictures. She did a great job and I recommend her services!”

Molly P.
“Molly is one of the biggest dog lovers I’ve met. She and her family recently lost their senior dog, who Molly cared for often and well for her almost two decades of life. Just before Grace crossed the rainbow bridge, I found out I had Covid and had exposed Molly at work, so she would also need to stay home for 5 days. After my return, Molly thanked me for exposing her because she was able to be with Grace constantly in her final days. If that isn’t a true dog lover, I don’t know what is. She would be gentle and loving with any dog she came across.”

“I am so glad that Gretchen has asked me to write her a testimonial. She has such a natural love of all animals, as she seems to understand their individual needs and personality. She takes wonderful care of those in her charge, keeping them clean, well fed and loved as if they were her own. She is an intelligent caregiver, who carefully follows directions on how to provide for animals in the way their owner requests. She has watched over many of my pets through the years, and I have always been so thankful for her efforts!”
