About: I have grown up in a household with dogs, mainly the medium to large sized breeds. I have experience with all sizes of dogs though, as I have taken care of a variety of sized dogs for friends, family, and neighbors. I have taken care of cats and dogs when needing medical care - especially giving meds and minor wound care - and also have groomed and walked many types and sizes of dogs. I love making sure the pets are healthy and happy. I have volunteered at an animal shelter to help with the care of animals - providing play time, meds, and grooming of both dogs and cats. I'm currently a full time student at SIUE and I'm in the MFA art studio program. The fall I have 3 in person classes with a mixed schedule. Mondays and Wednesdays are limited as I have a 3 hour morning class and 3 hour evening class, both being studio classes with some cleanup. Please note this as a potential issue due to the limited time for drop ins, walks, and check ins on a house sitting. Tuesdays and Thursdays are better as they just have one class. I will work with you ahead of time if there are any plans I have that will keep me away for longer than 4 hours at a time outside of these times. During house sitting, I can provide food, medicine, play time, walks, and many other services. I also am willing to assist with house related things - bringing in mail, taking trash out for trash pickup, etc - just let me know and we can work it out. For walks and drop ins, my availability is generally flexible outside of classes and will work with you to determine the best time(s) to be there. I can also provide some house related services (like bring in mail and packages) upon request. Please note I do have in person classes at SIUE Monday through Thursday. I am available to help with the pets at the clients home. I can either stay at your place or go home at night, which I can work with you based on your needs and comfort. I have experience with gated and non gated yards (so needing to leash the dog when taking out for the potty), gates for inside the house, and crate training. Often I will have my own leash with me so that if anything happens, I'm prepared. As for walks, I often work with the dog(s) to see what triggers them and avoid as much as possible. I know not all dogs are friendly with other dogs or people so I am aware of my surroundings and provide appropriate distance and avoid people and dogs as best as I can.

About: I’ve always loved animals and have a passion for taking care of them. I have an older dog and a cat at home, so I’m used to giving pets lots of love, attention, and the extra care seniors need. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away. I am currently a full time student at Lewis and Clark Community College so I have plenty of time to care for animals on the side! When I’m caring for pets on walks or in your home, I always make sure they feel comfortable and safe. On walks, I’ll go at their pace, make sure they stay hydrated, and give them plenty of time to sniff and explore. In your home, I’ll stick to their normal routine, give them lots of love and attention, and keep things clean and calm so they feel right at home even while you’re away.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was a child. I have predominantly had dogs and cats. I treat all animals with the utmost love and care. I have had pets through full life cycle so I understand the varying needs based on age. I currently work full time but am off Friday through Sunday so looking for people that need weekend help. About: I work 8-4:30pm Monday through Friday, I can do before work and after work depending on the time and area pretty much always available on weekends feel free to reach out 😃. I have been around animals my whole life. As a child we had three American Bull dogs. I have taken care of animals for friends when they were out of town until they return home. I personally have a dog named Simba, he’s very loving and loves attention. We go on walks and play fetch, he gets spoiled with toys weekly. Pet care fits into my schedule because I can drop in before and after work. Weekends I’m free all through out the day so plenty of time for extra attention! I work from home three days out of the week Monday - Friday and go in twice a week. I follow all owner rules and like to send pictures and videos of their happy fur babies. I care for Simba by taking him potty regularly making sure he has plenty of food and water. We go for walks when the weather lets us.

About: I’ve always had a heart for little critters, both wild and domesticated. I love to get to know them and care for them and give them as good a life I can for whatever part I have in it. I take care of my cat every day and I care for my parents dog when they are busy or out of town. Also any friends pets who need sitting. About: Been caring for dogs since I was 5; Own a standard goldendoodle along with mini goldendoodle boys of my own. As well as a shih-tzu, so rounded out experience with dogs of varying sizes. Also have done house sitting for my relatives. I’m currently unemployed, when I do get a job/online schooling I’ll update my schedule. However, my genuine passions for animals make it less of a ‘job’ and more of a hobby :) For my own dogs, I ensure they’re walked at most every three hours. Access to water from when I wake up to a few hours before bed. ALWAYS leash my animals before I take them out. My mother is a dog trainer and taught me body language so I can tell if they’re uncomfortable or not.

About: Hi, I’m Gabbi, and I have over 6 years of experience caring for other people’s pets! I am new to Rover, but I have multiple pet sitting references that I can provide from customers that have had me hired me for years! I’ve watched dogs of all sizes from Great Pyrenees to Chihuahuas. I’ve handled hundreds of cats so I am used to every personality. I have also cared for reptiles, amphibians, fish, farm animals, and rodents. I’ve watched dogs who need vigorous exercise, as well as the opposite. I’ve cared for puppies and kittens, seniors, and every age in between. I’ve watched a litter of kittens that were still nursing. In-Home Pet Sitting is available daily, but your pets will need to be left alone for up to 7-8 hours on Mondays and Wednesdays. I will care for your pet and/or home as if it were my own. About: I was born to care for your furry or scaled friend. I am not only a pediatric nurse but a dog/cat/lizard/fish mom and love my babies dearly. I work full-time but have 4 days off per week and could be available whenever you need me on those days. A lot of weekday availability. I can accommodate for all of your pets needs! About: i have had an affinity for animals since i was a little girl. they seem to always gravitate towards me and i feel as if i have a unique ability to communicate and understand their needs. i love spending time with them and getting to know their personalities. i have experience with puppies and seniors and everything in between. i am currently off work while i finish healing from an injury so my schedule is completely open at the moment. i would love to fill my days with some puppy love! i am very good at following directions and ensuring that your pup stays on the schedule they are used to. i am great at picking up on behavioral needs and am quick at adjusting care as they arise.

I know boarding are very sketch and it's hard to find someone you trust with your family member which is why I promise to give me 100% while you are away I work from home for my full time job which means I can spend all day with your pet. I work a couple hours on the weekend but other than that my flexible is 100% any instructions you give me for your dog I will follow. I only want the best for the furry family :) I know leaving your pet can be stressful which is why I make sure to send you a ton of updates/pictures while you are away if wanted!

About: My girlfriend and I foster animals and would love to spend time with yours. We have a fenced in back yard and experience in taking care of dogs. Hospice fostering is where our heart is fullest. I work in St. Louis Mon-Wed. Thursday & Fridays I can work remotely. I’m available all weeekend. Mondays I don’t work until noon. So long weekends are perfect. Thursday-Monday is best for me. My girlfriend also pet sits if I’m not free. I have a fenced in yard with two dogs who live at my house. I have a older chihuahua who will ignore your dogs so she can sleep, and I have a younger boxer mix that loves everyone and all dogs, and always wants to play. I may have a foster animal in the house as well. My animals can stay at my girlfriends house from time to time if you prefer less interaction with other dogs. We have gates up that can be closed. We have experience with all temperaments.
