Getting a routine right matters a lot to me. I ask lots of questions upfront and pay close attention to the small stuff: think feeding times, meds, favorite routes, comfort items, quirks, fears, or behaviors, because those details are what make a dog feel secure. I'd rather over-communicate than guess. I lived with and cared for a reactive dog for 13 years, so I know firsthand what it takes to help an anxious dog feel safe, and how to prevent conflict in the first place. All my dogs have been rescues, and I have a soft spot for dogs who need extra patience to warm up. I'm not a certified trainer, but I've spent years learning dog training, body language, and enrichment, and every interaction is rooted in positive reinforcement. I will require a meet and greet with your pet in advance of the first booking so they can become familiar with me, and so I can become familiar with their routine and needs. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility to be present for your dog, whether that's extra walks, playtime, or just being around for company, and I'm happy to talk through what kind of availability works best for your pet! I work from home which allows me the flexibility to prioritize pet care in a way I wouldn’t be able to with a traditional office. This gives me the ability to keep anxious dogs company, breaks for play time, medication, cuddles or walks when they are needed, not when they can be fit in. I create a calm, secure environment where pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether in my home or theirs, I work on building trust by moving at each pet’s pace and honoring their boundaries. Safety is always my top priority, I supervise pets closely, follow all instructions carefully, and adapt to their unique needs. I keep spaces clean, hazard-free, and ensure pets have fresh water, proper food, and quiet resting spots. For reactive or anxious pets, I use gentle, low stress handling & positive reinforcement or redirecting to help them feel calm and supported. Every care plan is tailored specifically to your pet’s needs after we discuss what works best for them.

About: Hello everyone!! My name is Kelsey, I'm a fun loving person who is a big animal lover! My 11 year old lab/retriever mix passed away May 2022 🐾 he was my baby and was very spoiled. I have a cat his name is Ash he is mixed Scottish fold and Persian 🐈‍⬛ I'm very loving towards any animals whether it's my own or someone else's no matter how big or how small they are! I live in a big apartment/house and there is plenty of yard area for your pet to play outside and have fun and play with toys. I look forward to helping out with your pets needs whatever that may be. I will still have plenty amount of time for your pets needs. I live in an apartment in a big house the yard is not fenced but there’s a big opening for the to roam or play in the grass with toys.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets ever since I was little, I’ve lived with at least one pet almost my whole life. Because of this, I am able to recognize body language in pets with relative ease, and how to react based on what signals they’re sending. Most of my experience comes from dogs, but I also have plenty of experience playing with and taking care of cats, bunnies, chickens, turtles, and more! I have lots of energy, patience, and love to give any little (or big) creatures that cross my path! My current work schedule is extremely flexible, and I’m working part time, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets any time throughout the entire week! I can frequently stop by since my job keeps me on the move and spend loads of time with them before and after my shifts! Both of my own dogs are trained with an invisible fence. I have a pretty big yard so they don’t need to go on walks super frequently, but I still like to take them out every once in a while. I feed the dogs twice a day (once in the morning and once at night), but I take it by a day by day basis as sometimes they have leftover food, etc. I usually spend at least an hour or so of my day specifically playing with my dogs, but I understand that your pets will most likely have different play wants/needs. I am always down to cuddle and give lots of pets and belly rubs, but I would never force your pets to if they aren’t interested.

About: I spend my time taking care of my 3 (yes, 3!) dogs and there's nothing I'd rather do! I also love making new furry friends. I'm fit and active and I will play as long as the dogs will! Please provide as much info as possible about your pet so that I may customize the care I provide. Pet care IS my routine; I am available seven days a week to walk or sit your fuzzy friends. I have flexibility to accept same-day requests if necessary. Safety and exercise are a priority; I like to take multiple walks per day and will always keep dogs on leash and safe while having a fun time.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since i was little. Not only have i learned responsibilities but my deep love and compassion for animals grows every day! I have a bulldog of my own and i couldn’t imagine a life without him. I’m working almost full time but i can make time most weekdays to stop and take care of your pets needs. Mostly day time availability I cannot use my home because of my fur baby but i would be willing to talk about possibilities of taking care of your pet overnight at your house. About: Hi, I'm Sadie! I am a graduate of Pennwest California's Vet Tech Program and have plans to attend graduate school to become a veterinarian. I have worked at several different jobs where I gained pet care experience, such as doggy daycare/boarding facilities and pet stores. I currently work as an emergency vet nurse as Veg ER for Pets. I hold a current veterinary technician license and am RECOVER CPR certified in cats & dogs. I have been petsitting for friends and family for years and have watched large breed dogs, such as Cane Corsos, Akitas, and Great Danes. I own 3 Pitties, 1 Boston Terrier, and 3 cats. I have raised bottle-fed kittens/puppies. I can administer oral, ophthalmic, aural, topical, & injectable medications to a variety of animals. I can care for farm animals as well! Whether your pet is young, old, or has special needs, they will be well cared for while you're away. Rest assured, I will treat your fur babies as if they are my own! P.S. my rates are higher than I normally charge to cover the 20% deduction Rover takes from each booking. Tips are appreciated but not required :) I am currently taking an in-person class 2 days a week on Monday and Wednesday. If care is needed while I attend class, my mom (also a Rover sitter, Danyel Marinski) can provide care for your babies as well! I care for client's pets exactly as their instructions tell me too. My own dogs love to cuddle with me and watch tv in between playing with all of their toys! They're super high energy so they're taken on multiple daily walks.
