Susan was GREAT! She was kind and patient with my pup. My doggo can be a bit skittish, but Susan and my pup became instant besties. Susan sent a great update on their walk and shared pictures from their adventures.

I am very grateful to have found Robin. I have a senior, female pit bull, who was abused before I adopted her. Lily senses Robin's kind nature. She has taken to Robin as a new "best buddy". She's happy to go on walks with Robin and looks forward to her visits. Robin is attentive and a great listener. She is also very punctual, which I appreciate greatly. She has followed all of my instructions perfectly (a rare attribute these days). I have found Robin to be very trustworthy. I give her 5 stars and would give her a 10, if possible. If you want a trustworthy, affectionate and kind hearted sitter, hire Robin.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 5 years of hands-on pet care experience. I’ve walked dogs of all sizes and temperaments, volunteered as a dog walker at the humane animal shelter ,fostered several cats (and proudly “foster failed” my first two—because I just couldn’t let them go!), and truly believe every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and spoiled. Whether your pup needs energetic walks or your kitty just wants some quiet companionship, I’ll treat them like family. I understand how hard it is to leave your pets behind, so I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos, cuddles, and peace of mind while you’re away! I work from home, giving me the flexibility to drop by whenever your pet needs. I’m committed to maintaining your pet’s routine to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable environment where your pet feels relaxed and happy. I follow your pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest to minimize stress. I provide plenty of attention and affection, monitor their behavior and well-being, and keep the space clean. I also ensure your home stays secure and follow any special instructions you provide to meet your pet’s unique needs.

About: Hi everyone! 🐾 My name is Kelsey, and I’m a fun-loving, caring person with a lifelong passion for animals! I grew up on a farm, so I’ve always had a special place in my heart for animals of all shapes and sizes. 🐶🐱 I had a wonderful 11-year-old Lab/Golden Retriever mix who sadly passed away in May 2022. 🐾 Today, I’m lucky to have Ash, my sweet cat who is a mix of Scottish Fold and Persian. 🐈‍⬛ I truly enjoy caring for animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your furry friend is big or small, energetic or laid-back, I’m happy to give them the love, attention, exercise, and companionship they need while you’re away. I have a spacious home with plenty of yard space for pets to safely enjoy some outdoor time, play, and get plenty of exercise. I’m also happy to keep them entertained with their favorite toys and activities! My goal is to make sure your pets feel comfortable, safe, loved, and right at home while they’re in my care. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies and spoil them with lots of love and attention! ❤️🐾 Thank you for considering me to care for your pets. I truly appreciate the opportunity and look forward to making this a wonderful experience for both you and your pets! 🐾 I work full time Monday through Friday. I work about 7 mins from home. So I still have plenty amount of time to care for your pets. I live in an apartment in a big house the yard is not fenced but there’s a big opening for them to roam or play in the grass with toys.

I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to tend to your dog. I would also be available on the weekends, to pet sit or help with caring for your pup. I work from home! About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and understand just how much energy, attention, and love they need to thrive. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I make sure every dog feels happy and cared for. I’m also experienced in administering medications and injections, so I’m comfortable supporting dogs with specific health needs. My goal is to keep your dog safe, active, and loved—just like you would. I am currently in college right now. I am a commuter so I stay at home. I am always in between free in between classes as well as the weekends being completely open. I provide care that keeps pets comfortable by sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine, whether they’re in my home or their own. In a client’s home, I make sure pets feel secure in their familiar environment by maintaining their feeding schedule, exercise, and any specific instructions the owner provides. I spend quality time with them through play, walks, and attention, while also keeping their space clean and stress-free. In my home, I create a safe, calm, and pet-friendly environment where animals can relax and feel at ease. I supervise them closely, provide plenty of attention, and make sure they have a clean space, fresh water, and regular meals. I also have a 2 year old cat named Cairo that is an absolute pleasure to be around. He would love to provide your animals the company they might want.

About: I spend my time taking care of my 3 (yes, 3!) dogs and there's nothing I'd rather do! I also love making new furry friends. I'm fit and active and I will play as long as the dogs will! Please provide as much info as possible about your pet so that I may customize the care I provide. Pet care IS my routine; I am available seven days a week to walk or sit your fuzzy friends. I have flexibility to accept same-day requests if necessary. Safety and exercise are a priority; I like to take multiple walks per day and will always keep dogs on leash and safe while having a fun time.

Olivia was not only wonderful with my ‘old man’, Prince, she was such a delight herself. It’s quite evident that Olivia loves animals!!!! You can clearly see the careful and loving time that she takes in tending to and taking care of their needs. She was EXCELLENT!!! She also, after taking care of Prince, actually took the time to talk to me for a few minutes (before she had to leave for her next puppy adventure). In today’s world, it’s sad that a little more time isn’t spent creating relationships and getting to know your client. I didn’t get a ‘rushed’ job with Olivia. She was warm, caring, and took her time with even myself and getting to know me a little. Priceless!!! I would definitely hire Olivia again, and probably will in the future! A sincere thanks to you, Olivia!!

  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 99% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
