About: My lifelong love of animals began with my mom’s senior calico cat and my dad’s anxiety fueled black lab. They were far more patient than I deserved and kept me well supervised. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to adopt and foster some of the sweetest, quirkiest felines while soaking in time with loved one’s dogs. As a foster, my specialty is anxious personalities who need extra support to come out of their shells. I have experience caring for kittens/puppies, seniors, multiples, disabilities, and personalities big and small. Being away from furry family members is hard and I understand the excitement of that first snuggle when you’re back home. My goal is to prioritize your pet’s individual needs in thoughtful, consistent ways while maintaining as much normalcy as possible until they’re back in your arms. The more information you can share regarding your pet’s habits, preferences, and favorite hiding spots, the better! This information allows me to care for your pet as efficiently and unobtrusively as possible. It takes a lot of trust to welcome someone into your home while they care for your family member and it’s not something I take for granted. During a typical visit, we’ll tackle the great outdoors right away for a bathroom break. Then I like to complete any food or water needs so that the last part of the visit can be solely focused on affection for your pet.
