About: I have cared for animals my whole life. I come from a family who loves and cares for animals of all kinds. I grew up with 5 dogs, 80 rabbits, 2 cats, birds and fish!. I have 2 dogs of my own now; Leela and Marie. I love them with all my heart and, would love your pets as of they are my own. I have experience administering insulin to a dog I grew up with. I also have a senior dog myself, so I know your senior dog needs special attention. I do have a 3 month old that I will bring with me for our walks etc. I am free most days as I am a stay at home mom with a 3 month old. With enough notice, I will be sure to fit your pet into my schedule I have a nice sized grassy fenced in yard for your pets to play in. I have two 45 lbs dogs that love making new friends. If your dog prefers to be solo I can keep them separate as well. I am happy to send you regular updates on your pets and meet their needs accordingly.
“Ernest accepted a last-minute booking for Mylo and did an outstanding job. From the moment we met him, it was clear how attentive and observant he is. He quickly picked up on Mylo’s personality and routine, noting that he’s less interested in constant play and prefers to relax, nap, and simply hang out during the day—which is absolutely accurate. We were especially impressed by the little details. Mylo finished all of his food while in Ernest’s care, and Ernest kept us updated throughout the stay. What stood out most was how gently he handled Mylo when he was hesitant about being separated from us. Instead of pulling or dragging him along, Ernest calmly picked him up and made the transition as stress-free as possible. Moments like that show someone who genuinely enjoys and cares about animals. We felt completely comfortable leaving Mylo with Ernest and would absolutely book with him again. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and caring dog sitter.”

“Sarah was kind, responsive, and took well care of Oreo. Pickup was carried out within the booked booking window, and communication was smooth overall. I appreciate her taking care of my dog :)”

About: WHO WE ARE: We are a work from home dog family. I am a Functional Medicine Practitioner and my husband, Josh, is a Personal Trainer. We have two dogs that know no stranger, fur or human kind. Their constant socialization has made them the perfect playmate for your pet...while also being aware of cues for pets who want their space and to be left alone. OUR SPACE & CARE STYLE: We have a spacious home with room to roam indoors and a fenced in backyard for all the playtime we can fit in on nice days. We have ropes, balls, sqeaker toys, chew toys, treat toys, and interactive toys...plenty to play with! We take pride in being a safe and loving vacation home for boarding and a fun place to hangout and play with other dogs while you are at work...with lots of love, cuddles, and treats. In addition to daily rates, we have weekly and monthly rates for doggy daycare, for our frequent visitors (spots are limited). We are great with puppies who need consistency, supervision, and training. We are equally capable of providing some TLC to older pets who may require extra care. We focus on maintaining routines, reading behavior, and creating a calm, safe environment so your pet feels comfortable and cared for at all times. We send reports and pictures so you have the peace of mind you need while away. I am home all day and evening to ensure that pet's are on their normal schedule, have constant interaction, and feel secure in the environment that is unknown to them. I have a fenced in yard for outdoor activity, a cozy couch on the patio to snuggle on, toys in and outside. I live in a sidewalk lined subdivision that makes walks convenient and safe.
“Becky was AWESOME and clearly loves animals!! My dog was a happy girl and she had so much fun. I received photos and updates. I highly recommend Becky to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter.”

“Sierra is amazing and so patient and caring! Even though my puppy is a tough cookie (very guarded and resistant to new connections), I can tell that she enjoyed herself and was warming up. The environment is very inviting and fun, both inside and out. I’m looking forward to her getting more comfortable. Will book again!”

“It was so great to have Guinness with Arlene and her family. They took Guinness in as one of their own! So grateful for them. I was in town and worked early and long hours every day for a week. 💯”

“Mya was able to accommodate my last minute day care request with no issue. She took great care of Chewie and sent me photos throughout the day. Definitely recommend booking with her :)”

About: Hi! I’m a passionate pet lover with over 14 years of experience caring for dogs. Originally from Colombia, I’ve raised dogs always making sure they feel comfortable and understood no matter what! I’ve been in Texas for 10 years and brought my own dogs along for the journey. Right now, I’m the proud owner of a 12-year-old West Highland Terrier, who’s a sweet senior pup. My other dog, a senior Chow Chow, sadly passed away a few months ago after battling cancer. Throughout her journey, I gained invaluable experience in caring for a senior dog and learned the deep commitment and compassion required to ensure their comfort and well-being. I truly believe pets are family and should be treated with the same love, care, and respect as any family member. I’ve helped neighbors and friends with boarding, daycare, and walks, and I’d love to do the same for your furry friend. Whether it’s a relaxing day at home or a fun walk, your pet will be in good hands with me!. I'm currently working from home so I can make sure take your pups for potty breaks often as needed and if I leave home, will be for couple hours to run errands. At home, we have a fenced backyard where they can roam freely and play, and we’ll make sure they have fresh water and food regularly.
“Professionalism from the beginning. Lots of communication throughout the whole visit. He put my mind at ease and my pup had a BLAST. I will be booking again!”

“Rochelle was great with our babies and we will definitely be leaving them with her again in the future. Good communication, pictures, videos, and both dogs came home happy and tired - ready for a good night’s sleep!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 910 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Winscott. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Winscott commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 910 sitters in Winscott, 91% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
