“Indiana was fantastic. I needed a sitter last minute and so thankful Indiana was available. I could trust her with my two fur babies and in my home. She took pictures during her visits so I could see they were happy and well cared for when I was away. Your fur babies are in good hands!”

“Once again I am super pleased with the care Allison gave to my babies while we were on vacation. Allison always provides detailed reports per visit and amazing pics that makes my heart melt when I receive them. I can feel comfortable when I’m away knowing they are very well cared for. My girls are very fond of Allison which means the world to me.”

“Crystal was attentive and caring with our pets the whole trip. She looked after issues and communicated very well. We could truly relax, knowing they were in good hands. Highly recommend! Plan to book her again in future. Thanks a million, Crystal!”

“Leslie did an amazing job with our 3 huskies- from meet and greet to all the picture updates she gave us peace of mind and gave our pups all the love! Would definitely recommend her to anyone.”

“Only giving 5 stars because I cant give her ***15*** Phyllis is amazing! She is our new go to sitter. She spent time to learn about and make friends with our bloodhound who is terrified of everything. She treated our babies like her own and even made sure to get them treats after they ate all of theirs (thieves!! Lol) We will use her again for CERTAIN.”

“Jessica has dropped by on my pupsters on two separate occasions, and I would trust her anytime I need some help. She always provides adorable updates and is communicative. The pups have a great time with her. I will book Jessica everytime if she's available!”

“Annabella is great. She picked up a very short notice drop-in visit, and gave me and my wife peace of mind on our weekend trip. She followed every request I had exactly and I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a sitter!”

“Once again, Darnell did a fabulous job taking care of our senior kitty Gus. Darnell was very professional, sent us lots of photos, and gave us a thorough message with each visit. We knew we left our home and kitty in good hands--and came home to a well-fed, happy kitty. We have loved working with Darnell and would absolutely hire him anytime for cat care!”

About: I have taken care of dogs ranging from 10 pounds to 160 pounds my entire life. I have owned chihuahua dachshund mix, akitas, huskies, and German shepherds; so I understand big breeds as well as smaller ones. I have helped family members and neighbors with their dogs growing up with house sitting and dog walking. I know how important furbabies are to families, and treat each and every one as I would my own. I currently work full time with every other Monday off. I go to work about 7 am and get home about 430 pm. I do have volleyball leagues on Monday Wednesday and Friday nights that I am gone for 2 hours between 6-11pm as it varies based on game time. I love to hike and be outside so taking the dogs for walks a non issue. I treat all furbabies as if they were my own. I adjust my schedule accordingly to accommodate the animals as best as I can. I have given insulin shots and medication to animals and am comfortable with it.

“Hana is amazing! She’s so flexible and understanding when it comes to schedules and demands of each animal in the home. She truly cares about our animals (she will leave our tv on for our dog so she isn’t lonely) and does enrichment treats without us even asking her to. I trust her with our babies 100%”

“We absolutely love how Tiffany takes great care of our little ones! She always updates us with fun & loving pictures. She is also very quick to respond with any questions or concerns & always on time!”

“Excellent cat sitter. She came on time or even early to some of the appointments days. My cat Bonnie instantly loved her. My home was just as I left it when i returned. She was a pleasure to work with!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 11 and I have taken care of a bunch of different animals in that time. I’m currently unemployed looking for jobs so I’m all free! I will be available pretty often. I will be doing online school around October and will be asynchronous and online. I am available very often. I can stick to pet routines and any medication and dietary needs. I would sometimes be accompanied by my boyfriend who can be an extra eye.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Windsor Hills
Would highly recommend Jen to look after your cat if you go out of town. She’s been looking after my cat for almost a year now, and she shows up on time and is very good about feeding and giving him water and scooping out his litter box. She’s very patient as well. My cat is very shy, and she was very patient and let him come up to her when he was ready. Now that he knows her, he loves her coming to look after him when I’m gone and loves it when she pets him and plays with him and scratches his ears.
Absolutely wonderful sitter! She took such great care of Remy and Gimlet and went above and beyond while we were away. Her updates were thoughtful and reassuring, and it was clear how much she genuinely cared about them. We came home to happy cats and everything in the house taken care of. We would absolutely book her again!

Darnell is exceptional and I can’t thank him enough for all the care and love he gave our cat babies. This was the first time we used this service, and we will definitely use this service again. Darnell sent us pictures every day, two times per day, and he went above and beyond. We also received a report card with cute little notes about our furry children. Thank you Darnell!

We had a great experience with Jessica and will definitely use her anytime we need a cat sitter. We were away for 5 days and she took excellent care of our 8 cats (including two 4 month old kittens). Jessica was very communicative and kept us informed if anything happened. After every visit, she sent photos of each cat and gave a summary of how the visit went. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about our babies and was attentive to their individual needs.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Windsor Hills. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
