I had an incorrect address issue initially, but she made sure my cats were still fed and cared for that evening, even going the extra mile to do so (literally and figuratively). She was descriptive with her updates, gave the kitties treats and pets, did regular litter box changes and tidying around the litter box area, made sure all food and water bowls were clean and full, and sent lots of pictures. I work full time AT HOME so I'm flexible just looking to make some extra money I work from home Monday through Friday, and am available most weekends, so I have lots of time and flexibility to care for your doggos! About: I’ve owned and cared for furry (scaled and feathered!) friends my whole life. From cats and dogs, to guinea pigs and bunnies, to fish and birds. I even have experience caring for sugar gliders and a ball python. I’ve worked as a pet uber (with a company called Leash) and volunteered at shelters, socializing events, and cat rescues for several years, so I’m used to interacting with all kinds of pet personalities and ages. From shy snugglers, to loyal guardians, to spunky characters, to goofy adventurers, I love them all! You can trust I will love on your baby and treat them with as much care as I do my own fur babies. My schedule is fairly flexible right now since my medical retirement from the Army in October. I’m currently working on an online M.S. in psych and substitute teaching in my boyfriend’s town (Clarksville, VA) whenever I’m available. Since it’s a long commute and I’m typically called the morning of, I try to keep Monday and Tuesday open to sub if needed. I am more than willing to do virtual and in person meet and greets to learn pet needs and routines. I prefer to meet in person to get acquainted with your pet while they feel safe in your presence (but I’ve never met a pet I didn’t click with and love immediately.) I’ll accept any additional written/typed outlines detailing your pets care if that’s easier than leaving notes in the app. You name it and I’ll do it; whatever is best for you and your fur baby. Dogs under my care will enjoy long walks and dog parks trips where applicable. If you have a puppy (or dog) in training, I love to partner in their learning using whatever commands you prefer. Kitties under my care will get lots of playtime with wands and lasers, as well as tons of snuggles.
About: I have a lot of knowledge with most exotics as well, I’m happy to help with any bird, turtles/tortoise, fish, snake, any lizard, monkeys, any rodent, rabbit, chicken, horses, pigs, cow, goats and sheep. I’ve taken care of animals my entire life. I also work with The Wildlife Center and do some small animal rehabilitation. I currently have 2 dogs and one fish. I’ve recently fostered 3 tortoises, a senior dog and a bearded dragon. I am able to do some puppy training and very knowledgeable in senior care for dogs and cats. I work full time AT HOME so I'm flexible just looking to make some extra money I work from home Monday through Friday, and am available most weekends, so I have lots of time and flexibility to care for your doggos! I live in an apartment but it's very dog friendly! I will ensure your dog gets lots of attention and love! I have access to lots of trails, open pet areas, and a fenced in tennis court where they can run free and we can play fetch! My dog is very friendly and has lots of experience around other dogs. I do have a large dog crate if that is required or necessary.
About: I love dogs, they are my favorite people. All shapes and sizes, whenever I spend time with them, they just make my heart happy. When they’re with me they’ll be taken good care of. Whether it’s long walks, games of tug of war, endless belly rubs, and lots of cuddles. I will love your pet as if they were my own. In addition to raising two dogs of my own, I’ve cared for friends and neighbors’ pets while they’re at work or away. I know how hard it is to leave your pet behind whether it’s while you’re at work or on vacation but when they’re with me you won’t have to worry because they’ll be well cared for and loved. About: I love all animals but I’m a dog lover through & through. Yes.. Even the stinky butt, stinky breath, so ugly that they’re cute, accident prone, jumper, barker, puller, escape artists, babies too. I was raised with 2 boxers who have made their way across the rainbow bridge. I raised a super mutt for 6 years who has also crossed over. I now have a Rottie mix who was adopted through Chesterfield Animal Shelter going on 4 years ago. She is, in addition to my human babies, my dog child. She is the best of friends with my kids. If you ask my oldest how many brothers and sisters he has, she is included in his total … 😂 I have 10+ years of experience walking/pet sitting neighbors, family and friends dogs but im in my second year of pet sitting full time. I can’t express enough the joy it has brought me. I’ve worked with puppies, seniors & everything in between of all sizes. I’m familiar with giving oral medication and have learned how to properly perform CPR on dogs. I fully understand & respect that each animal is different & has their own needs and personality. As well as their owners. This is why my care goes beyond maintaining. I’m full of patience and love & It’s important to me that i strive for comfortability. I have taken on pet sitting full time! My regular returning clients are a priority but i still have plenty of open room for new clients! I understand that for each pet, their wants and needs may vary. I am big on respecting what makes everyone the most comfortable and cared for. I strive to leave your pet feelings enriched and at ease by the end of my visit.

About: I have lived dog with multiple dogs my whole life. I have 5 years of experience in the veterinary world that has broadened my horizon to the variety of breeds out there and the different requirements they need. I also specialize in medicating our furry friends in the most stress-free way possible. I have experience training my own service dog from 8 weeks old to present and continue to keep his training up to date. I also specialize in hospice care for our are geriatric puppies, because no matter how old they are, they are always puppies to us. I am currently pet sitting for people Part-Time. my goal is to make caring for animals my full-time job. While I continuemaking commissioned pet portraits! Along with other commissions for various prints and paintings. At my house, dogs will eat separately from other dogs for safety and have long line leash walks for potty breaks. If a pet is known to have toy aggression, toys will be taken out of the equation. I do have a service dog that comes with me everywhere including my clients homes. If a client 's pet is dog aggressive or the cats are scared of dog, I will not have my service dog interact with them to give comfort and safety for all.
“This was our first-time using Miranda and she made us feel comfortable from the very start. We started with a pre-stay meet and greet to make sure our dogs got along, and everything went perfectly. Miranda did an awesome job with Draco from the time we dropped him off until the time we picked him up. She sent us many videos and pics and in all of them he looked super happy. It really seemed that he had acclimated and became a part of her family, and they treated him as such. He also really enjoyed playing with their son and their beautiful chocolate lab. We will definitely be using her again in the near future. Draco looked like he was having such a great time in all the pictures and videos, and we were worried that he wouldn't want to come back home to us LOL.”
