“Amanda did a fantastic job with Willow. I was impressed with Amanda’s follow up. I received pictures multiple times a day. She understands that Willow is my world. She made sure that I knew that Willow was eating interacting with the other dogs and comfortable where she was. Not only will I rebook with Amanda. I already have.”

“Amy and her family were great! Cleo is an old dog, I usually take her with me but this time we were traveling for a funeral. It was our first time using Rover or leaving her with others, I was nervous. Our drop off time was early in the day but they were accommodating. Amy kept me posted on how Cleo was doing and sent pics every day which was unexpected but very much appreciated. Cleo clearly got lots of love from the whole family. I highly recommend Amy and Grant P. (and family.)”

“Ellysia is the best! My pups had the greatest time with her and her family. Updated daily with pictures and activities. We will definitely be using her again and recommend her hands down.”

“Abby did a wonderful job taking care of my Sammy. She kept us informed of how he was doing. We could enjoy our trip knowing he was in good hands. He was healthy and happy when we picked him. I would highly recommend her”

“I cannot Thank Dylan & Alex enough for taking care of my dogs for a week and working with me when my trip dates were a bit modified. Every morning I would receive an update with pictures, my dogs were happy when I picked them up . Not to mention their boarding area is always clean , the yard is kept clean , and their home is puppy proofed for those that like to chew. I highly recommend them , I will definitely have my pups return if we are unable to take with us. Maui and Willow send their love !”

“Leidy agreed to watch our German shepherd with a short notice and did an incredible job! Send frequent updates and pictures which we love! Very grateful he was in such good hands while we had to leave town!”

“Ms Anika and her family was great taking care of Dog I thought it would be an issue but when I reached out to her she responded back and sent a video of my dog having fun I will definitely re-book with her in my next trip”

“Melissa was absolutely wonderful with my dog. She was excellent with the communication and pictures and I felt so good to see my dog happy while I was out of town taking care of business. Melissa will forever be my dog sitter for my pup.”

“Kendra was amazing with Tinkerbell. She kept us updated each day which put our mind at ease with this being our first time using Rover. The pictures where the best as we could see in real time how well she was being cared for. Thank you Kendra!”

“It was a pleasure to have Bean stay with Allejah. She was a sweetheart and so accommodating! I will definitely be booking again. She was extremely considerate of any changes made, as well as any potential problem Bean ran into! <3”

“We left our doggie with Ari while traveling for two weeks and we couldn't have asked for anyone better to look after him. Our special boy is a senior Schnoodle that we rescued last year from a breeder situation gone really bad. Ari and her family welcomed him with open arms and treated him like he was one of the family. She sent daily updates and we thought our boy may not want to come home after seeing how much fun he was having in the photos. Also, he made a new best friend with the family dog Apollo. I would recommend Ari to anyone that is looking for a home-away-from home for their fur babies.”

“Christine and Nick once again provided excellent care for my dog while we were on a trip. They were flexible with changes in schedule, provided frequent pics and updates about Mae, and are friendly and responsive.”

“Always a good sign when Sven doesn't want to come home. I promise we're nice to him, but he must have loved it there--especially having other dogs to play with.”

“Kayce did an excellent job taking care of our Golden Retriever! She was very communicative from the beginning of the booking all the way throughout the stay. During the stay, she sent daily photos with updates and stories of how our dog was having a great time with her dog and family. We will definitely use her again for future needs.”

“Beverly was AMAZING. Kept in contact with me every step of the way, sent me the greatest photo updates, taught my puppy some new lessons, took incredible care of him, even washed my dishes she returned that my puppy had used while staying with her. I can’t say enough good things about her. I will absolutely be using her every time I go out of town. Her house was an incredible set up for dogs, especially the backyard. My puppy had the best time and didn’t want to leave. Thank you, Beverly!!!”

“Had a great experience working with Deven and Tyreek! They took great care of our dog and provided excellent daily updates. He looked very happy in all his pics!”

“Lisa is fabulous! She gave my Daisy all of the love and provided plenty of updates throughout the weekend to ease my anxiety. She was super flexible with drop-off and pick-up times and great to work with. Definitely recommend her!”

“This was the first time I ever needed to board my dog. Ms. Tracey was absolutely wonderful with my Sullivan. She took great care of him and sent us plenty of pictures so we would not miss so much. I would recommend her to anyone looking to board their dog. She is definitely at the top of our list if we ever need this service again. Thank you so much Rover/Ms. Tracey.”

“Awesome sitter, I have rebooked and she always treats my dog with the same care I would. Sends me updates and photos on how he’s doing, I have and will definitely recommend to family and friends!”

“Jessica was a wonderful pet sitter for my cat. When she scheduled the initial visit I was super impressed by all of the excellent questions that she asked to make sure that she could do the best job at caring for my cat. While watching my cat she did a brilliant job of caring for her and helping me feel at ease by sending detailed pictures and videos. Jessica definitely exceeded my expectations by spending extra time with my cat and making her feel comfortable. Jessica's a wonderful pet sitter and I strongly recommend that you use her!”

“Phyllis is incredible. She goes above and beyond for caring for my 3 kitties whenever we have to be away from home. She truly treats my babies like her own and also gives updates on things around my home during the drop-ins (if a package came, etc), so that I feel totally secure during my time away. She is truly the best, and I will always reach out to her when I have to be away. Don't hesitate to book her! She is a true gem!”

“Hana is amazing! She’s so flexible and understanding when it comes to schedules and demands of each animal in the home. She truly cares about our animals (she will leave our tv on for our dog so she isn’t lonely) and does enrichment treats without us even asking her to. I trust her with our babies 100%”

“Emily was fantastic! We met prior to the assignment, so she could meet our cats, learn their habits, and where everything was stored. She was prompt in arriving to check on our cats, socialized with them, and followed our instructions on our cat that had dietary restrictions. She also took pictures at each visit! Well worth the extra money!”

“Rebecca cared for our three cats for about a week and a half, doing drop ins every other day. She was kind and communicative from start to finish, and went above and beyond to keep us and our kitties happy including lots of playtime, topping off food and water, and even watering a plant for us and bringing packages inside. Would book her again for future travel!”

About: I've always felt like I identified more with cats, despite my parents being firmly in the "dog people" camp. So when I moved out on my own, I got my own cats, who are both around 6 years old at this point. I've also spent 2+ years volunteering with humane societies and smaller charities to help find cats their fur-ever homes. I'm passionate about cat care and would love to meet your fur baby!
About: I've never been without pets in my life. My family and I have always been avid animal lovers, and I've been lucky enough to raise dogs, cats, snakes, and even horses! Growing up, we always had at least two dogs, and oftentimes, a cat as well. Currently, I have two cats and a pit bull of my own. Over the past 8 years, I've worked as a pet sitter for friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors. I'd like to offer my services to those who may not have someone they can lean on when they're busy! I work 3 days a week as a full time EMT and volunteer with a local fire department in my free time. If you have any questions about my services, me, or my availability- please don't hesitate to reach out! :) As a full time EMT, my work schedule is very forgiving. I have four days off each week, which are Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I can very easily fit pet care in on those days, and by request, can sometimes squeeze in morning care on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. With a dog and 2 cats of my own, I do not offer boarding services. I have plenty of experience pet sitting in your pet’s natural habitat; home visits are no issue for me, and I think it’s the best way to ensure that your animals are as comfortable as can be while you’re away.

“Jeanette was great! She was able to accommodate Romeo in a very short time frame, and had to wake up early for the drop off. She kept me updated and Romeo loved her! Overall great experience.”

“Abby, had great communication with me while our pup was there. She sent me pics which helped put our minds at ease. What sold me on her was that within 5 minutes of me reaching out with our dogs info and request for care she responded back with her address ready to take him immediately. If we’re ever in the area again we will definitely be using her services!”

“Amanda is hands down a five-star sitter! She watched my dog all day and did an incredible job managing her high energy; she really went above and beyond to get all those "zoomies" out, and I picked up a very happy, tired pup. Her communication was also top-notch throughout the day, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. If you’re looking for someone reliable who truly knows how to engage with dogs, I highly recommend booking with Amanda!”

“Sabrina was extremely accommodating as I needed day care coverage extremely last minute. She allowed the my pup & her dogs to get comfortable with one another and sent me updates throughout the day without prompting. I truly appreciate her kindness and expertise and will definitely book with her again.”

“Abreya is wonderful. Great communication, friendly, & flexible. Don’t hesitate to book her. We needed services early morning hours outside of her normal hours & she was able to do it. Communication was top notch. Definitely will be using her again & again. Thanks again Abreya.”

“We had such a great experience with our sitter through the Rover app. She was incredibly accommodating and adjusted seamlessly to our schedule, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. From the moment Tilley arrived, it was clear she genuinely cared for her like one of her own pets. She kept me updated, made sure Tilley was comfortable, and gave her so much love and attention during her stay. Her home had more than enough space for Tilley to feel relaxed and active, and I really appreciated how intentional she was about keeping her engaged with daily activities and playtime. Tilley came home happy, well cared for, and clearly enjoyed her time there. It gave me real peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands, and I would absolutely trust her to watch Tilley again in the future.”

About: As a former teacher and parent, I bring a level of patience, structure, and attentiveness to dog care that closely mirrors what children need to feel safe, supported, and well-guided. I understand how important routine, consistency, and clear boundaries are—not just for behavior, but for overall well-being. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s a part of my daily life. I have hands-on experience with multiple breeds and temperaments, including my own dogs: three Huskies, a Dalmatian, and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. This has given me a strong understanding of both high-energy and more sensitive breeds, and how to balance activity with proper rest. My home is run as a family-supported, professionally managed boarding environment. My husband, a veteran, is also present and supportive, adding an extra level of attentiveness and reliability to the care your dog receives. What truly sets me apart is the intentional structure I provide. Dogs in my care are guided through a balanced routine that includes play, socialization, rest, and calm time. This helps prevent overstimulation, anxiety, and unsafe behaviors. This type of environment doesn’t just keep dogs safe—it helps them build better habits. Dogs learn to settle, share space appropriately, and become more comfortable around other dogs in a controlled setting. For many dogs, this supports improvements in reactivity, socialization, and overall behavior, helping them become more confident and well-adjusted outside of the home. I strongly believe that dogs thrive when their needs are met through routine, rest, and structure. Just like people, they require downtime and sleep to stay balanced. A consistent schedule helps prevent stress and overstimulation, creating a calmer, happier experience. I have experience caring for dogs with a variety of needs, but I am intentional about ensuring that each dog is a good fit for my environment, so I can maintain a safe, structured, and positive space for every dog in my care. Pet care is my full-time focus, and my daily schedule is built entirely around the dogs in my care. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, scheduled walks, outdoor play, and one-on-one attention. Dogs are cared for on a structured routine that includes activity, feeding, and designated rest periods to keep them balanced and comfortable. I’m able to maintain a calm, organized environment where dogs receive reliable care, attention, and structure every day. I provide care in a structured, well-managed home designed for safety, balance, and low stress. As an owner of 5 dogs, 3 different breeds who are trained, I know what dogs need to thrive, feel loved, and thrive socially. While dogs are treated with love and attention, this is not a free-roam environment. I operate a crate-structured system that allows each dog to rest, reset, and avoid overstimulation while also keeping all dogs safe. In my home: • Dogs are comfortably crate trained • Dogs are crated during rest periods, overnight, and when unsupervised • Dogs are rotated for safe, controlled interaction • Dogs are never left to freely roam together without supervision This setup allows me to safely care for multiple dogs while still providing individual attention and a calm atmosphere. For safety: • Dogs must be non-aggressive toward people and other dogs • No history of biting or unsafe behavior • Dogs must be able to remain calm when confined • Collar or harness is required at all times This environment is best suited for dogs who are used to structure, routine, and boundaries.
About: What sets me apart is my calm, low-stress home where I host max 2 compatible dogs at once. Perfect for anxious, selective, or reactive pups who need peace over chaos. I also offer solo-stay pricing for dogs who need to block my second spot. My experience shines with senior dogs (gentle mobility support, meds) and high-energy mediums (structured play without overwhelming them). I work from home so I'm very flexible. I'm available during the day for walks/drop-ins/daycare, evenings/weekends for boarding. Dogs are family here; my routine revolves around their comfort. I don’t have any pets of my own currently. I have a nice size fenced yard and I love taking pups on long walks in my neighborhood or at the local dog park if possible. You can also book my backyard on Sniffspot!

About: I specialize in dogs that need a little extra grace and a lot of patience, but I also love a social butterfly! Having raised a reactive high-drive mix and managed the pulling power of large breeds like Labs and Great Danes, I know firsthand that not every dog is an easy walker. I bring a calm, highly disciplined, and observant approach to every visit, ensuring your dog feels secure and understood. My Special Skills Include: Reactive & Anxious Dog Handling: Creating safe, low-stress environments for sensitive souls. High-Drive Breed Management: Experience safely handling and exercising powerful, high-energy working breeds. Behavioral Reinforcement: Utilizing consistent treat training, professional handling techniques, and keen observation of canine body language. Large Breed Experience: Confident leash-handling for strong pullers. Whether your dog is a socialite who loves making friends or a sensitive pup who needs a sitter with unshakeable patience, I tailor my approach specifically to them. Pet care is a staple of my daily routine! While I work a standard 9-to-6 business day 5 days of the week, I am wide awake and ready to go for those early 5:00 AM or 6:00 AM morning walks. Your pup will get plenty of exercise and attention before I head out, and I’m back in the evenings for more play, dinner, and potty breaks until 10:00 PM. I specialize in recurring schedule drop ins and walks, ensuring your pets have a consistent best friend to look forward to constantly. Whether I’m staying at your place or visiting for a drop-in, your pets are treated like family. My approach combines physical exercise with mental engagement—I love incorporating short, positive training sessions into our day to keep their minds sharp. They’ll get plenty of 'tummy rub' downtime and scheduled feedings, but they’ll also get the structure and play they need to stay happy and tired out. Your dog won't just be watched; they’ll be active, engaged, and thoroughly spoiled.
About: I am very flexible with hours. I am an active person and happy to play with your pet and walk them as much as needed. I grew up in the cold, so weather doesn't bother me walking or driving. I also am willing to work with your hours and do what is best for your pet. I also am always happy to send pictures and check in so you know they are living your best life. I can be flexible but I am a morning person so early walks are okay with me. I can also drop in easily through the day with little issue. I grew up with large dogs (lover (100lbs) and 2 cats, and am the current owner of a Bernese Mountain dog who I love. I love all animals but tend to lean to bigger dogs. I like cats butdon't currently own one due to my husband. I am newer to rover but have spent a lot of time caring for my own pets but also dog sitting for others in their homes over the last 7 years.
About: I love dogs, they are my favorite people. All shapes and sizes, whenever I spend time with them, they just make my heart happy. When they’re with me they’ll be taken good care of. In addition to raising two dogs of my own, I’ve cared for friends and neighbors’ pets while they’re at work or away. I know how hard it is to leave your pet behind whether it’s while you’re at work or on vacation but when they’re with me you won’t have to worry because they’ll be well cared for and loved. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm but only live 5 minutes from my work. I am able to go home midday and have evening and weekends free to spend lots of time with your fur babies. I make sure that they will remain on they’re regular feedings and pawty schedules and are free to run the apartment if no need to crate. My apartment provides a fenced in yard for them to have safe and fun outdoor time. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. My significant other has an alternative schedule so the dog would be under 24 hour supervision. I can't wait to have a buddy with me throughout the day! I understand how anxious your paw partner may be while you are away -- I am here to console your paw partner until you are back 💕 I live in a single home with a large fenced backyard with a pool they can play in! Great parks and trails nearby. Dogs will have freedom in all rooms of the home. Dog will be supervised 20-24 hours a day. This helps me ensure pet safety and quick turnaround on any changes to health and/or behaviors.
“Jo is fantastic with our dogs. Astrid, our most reserved dog rolled over and showed her belly. My wife was also able to meet her and also loves her. She played with our pups and once she left, they were exhausted and napped. A tired dog is a good dog!”
About: I’ve owned and cared for furry (scaled and feathered!) friends my whole life. From cats and dogs, to guinea pigs and bunnies, to fish and birds. I even have experience caring for sugar gliders and a ball python. I’ve worked as a pet uber (with a company called Leash) and volunteered at shelters, socializing events, and cat rescues for several years, so I’m used to interacting with all kinds of pet personalities and ages. From shy snugglers, to loyal guardians, to spunky characters, to goofy adventurers, I love them all! You can trust I will love on your baby and treat them with as much care as I do my own fur babies. My schedule is fairly flexible right now since my medical retirement from the Army in October. I’m currently working on an online M.S. in psych and substitute teaching in my boyfriend’s town (Clarksville, VA) whenever I’m available. Since it’s a long commute and I’m typically called the morning of, I try to keep Monday and Tuesday open to sub if needed. I am more than willing to do virtual and in person meet and greets to learn pet needs and routines. I prefer to meet in person to get acquainted with your pet while they feel safe in your presence (but I’ve never met a pet I didn’t click with and love immediately.) I’ll accept any additional written/typed outlines detailing your pets care if that’s easier than leaving notes in the app. You name it and I’ll do it; whatever is best for you and your fur baby. Dogs under my care will enjoy long walks and dog parks trips where applicable. If you have a puppy (or dog) in training, I love to partner in their learning using whatever commands you prefer. Kitties under my care will get lots of playtime with wands and lasers, as well as tons of snuggles.

“Thank you so much for taking care of our dogs again and for doing it on such short notice! It’s so nice having someone so reliable and trustworthy. I know they’re already looking forward to your next visit!”

“Jeanette responded to our request right away in such a short notice. She happily took care of our 2 pitties for the weekend and even took them on a field trip! Will definitely book her again 💞”

“If I could give 100 stars I would for the exceptional care Sarah gave to my baby I would. Not only did she care for Penny as if she was her own, this was the first time Penny has been left with anyone other than family, and Sarah made Penny feel as though she was family. I would recommend Sarah to service your pet without hesitation only when I wouldn't need her again, period!”

If a pet is known to have toy aggression, toys will be taken out of the equation. I do have a service dog that comes with me everywhere including my clients homes. If a client 's pet is dog aggressive or the cats are scared of dog, I will not have my service dog interact with them to give comfort and safety for all.
“Lucky and Matt were wonderful caretakers and companions for our 2 year old hound for the 4 days we were gone. Always had good communication and photos every day. I highly recommend their service. Very reliable and they truly love dogs.”

“Shay and Jake always do a wonderful job with our dog Maple, but this time they truly went above and beyond when she had some tummy trouble. Leaving Maple with them feels like leaving her with family.”
