About: Hello there! My name is Sammy and I have been around animals all of my life and they have inspired me in so many different ways. I have been managing doggy daycare/boarding facilities for a little over 3 years now so I guess you can say pet care is my specialty! I am dog and cat CPR certified, certified through the DHA (dog handler academy),I know how to give injections, and my knowledge on dog behavior is quite extensive. I have decided to go back to school as well which is why my schedule is so open. Currently I own a 2 year old Golden Retriever as well as the cutest cat ever that are both my world. About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 20 years — not just as a sitter, but as a lifelong animal person. I live with two cats and two dogs (aka my little chaos crew), and I’ve been through it all: administering meds, soothing anxious pups, helping senior pets feel safe and loved, and even caring for a dog with epilepsy. I know how to read their body language, honor their boundaries, and make every visit feel like a familiar, comforting ritual. I also rescue animals when I see them in need — whether that’s coaxing a stray into safety, getting them vet care, or helping them find their forever home. I don’t just like animals — I see them, respect them, and care deeply about their safety, happiness, and autonomy. When your pet is with me, they’re not just getting fed and walked. They’re getting a friend, an advocate, and someone who truly gets them. I work from home and have a lot of flexibility. I would prefer long standing customers with at least one weekly walk to stay on my schedule. I do have a fenced in yard we could use for play. Though I would prefer to take dogs for walks in their neighborhoods or at the river. I am happy to play fetch, tug, go on long hikes, or take short strolls. Each animal must have their collar on with their owner's information.

About: I love absolutely love dogs! I work from home as a Generative AI associate so my schedule is very flexible and ideal for taking care of your dog when you're busy or away. I'm available mornings, afternoons, or evenings, basically whenever you need. And my apartment is located in Shockhoe Bottom near two parks, ideal for walks. I grew up with Lhasa Apso pups (Cassie and Teddy) and have been dog-sitting and dog-walking for about 5 years. I've taken care of a variety of breeds, ranging from a Chinese crested to a boxer-pitbull mix. I'm a very compassionate, gentle, and patient person. About: Hi! I have taken care of pets from different backgrounds and families and am willing to adjust and accommodate to any environment that is needed for the pet I currently work a full time job in Short Pump and commute home to the city. I am able to work around pet parents schedules if given enough notice in advance, and I appreciate those willing to work with my own schedule as well. No access to a yard for pups, and I do not have the space to accommodate for pups, therefore for boarding purposes I can only care for cats. I have an extra litter box, toys, and treats for your pet. Please feel free to bring your pets own food and their personal toys if necessary.

About: Hi, I'm Miki! I've had dogs my whole life, and adopted one of my very own (Scout) about 4 years ago! With several years of personal and professional experience, I'm confident I can provide a happy and safe space for your pet. :) As a dog owner, I know how hard it can be to find someone you trust with your pet, and my goal is to give my client's peace of mind knowing that their babies are being cared for just as I would my own dog! At the moment, I only host one dog at a time to make sure they get my full attention (or two from the same household). I have a ton of experience and knowledge with dogs, but particularly anxious/reactive dogs and am always happy to accommodate any special needs/requests. I work from home a few days a week and have an open weekend schedule, so Scout and I would love having another friend around to keep us company! We typically go on a minimum of 3 walks a day (morning, afternoon and night) for anywhere from 20 minutes- 1+ hours. Between walks, I have plenty of toys and mentally stimulating gadgets that Scout would be happy to share. :) While I don't have a yard, my neighborhood is the perfect dog-friendly spot with lots of trails, streams and parks! If your dog is hanging with us, you can expect an itinerary full of very dog centered activities (as usual) haha. I'm experienced working with low and high energy dogs and more than happy to follow your dogs typical schedule- whatever that may be! To maintain safe and calm environment for all pets, I do require that dogs are crate trained and feel comfortable being crated if I need to leave the house for a short time.

About: I’ve lived with and taken care of dogs for the last four years. I started fostering dogs in 2022, and adopted a puppy of my own last winter. I’ve worked with severely traumatized and scared dogs and am also comfortable walking energetic puppies. Happy to help :). I am unfortunately allergic to cats. I’m looking forward to connecting :) I have a German shepherd / Siberian husky mix who has endless energy. We spend a lot of time walking, running, hanging at the dog park or fields where she can run and sniff to her hearts content. Happy to do the same with your pup. Comfortable providing medication and keeping your routine going while you’re away.

About: I'm a professional dog trainer, and I've been working with animals professionally for over 10 years, and I have had dogs and cats in my family ever since I was born, and grew up training and walking them. I have had the pleasure of having two golden retrievers, a border collie, and now I have a 4 year old black lab named Rosie, and tortoiseshell cat who acts like a dog. Even though I train dogs and their humans, I walk dogs as supplemental income, and I would love to meet your little (or big) bundles of joy! I’m currently self-employed, so my schedule varies. But I am typically available on Mondays and Thursdays, but I will update my schedule weekly or monthly to reflect what my schedule really looks like. I have the experience to exercise dogs who are a little more on the high-energy side, or dogs who just want to sniff everything outside for a while and then get some pets and snuggles.

About: I treat each pet as an individual first, catering to their specific needs. I provide care, attention, and of course, love as if they were my own friends, hoping that they will be soon. Rover is my current focus; your pet will receive as much attention as they need. With a flexible schedule, I can come to you or have them come to me. There's a large unfenced back yard, quick access to the river, and nature walks on Belle Isle. I provide a clean and well thermoregulated house for the hot summer months, with a room dedicated just for the pets, though not restricting them to the room.
